Nope, no such issue for me. I had dk2 for 2 months before getting cv1. Cv1 is better in every aspect. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I don't mind to be as u say but it wont work. Buttons on touches are not enough for hotas and you wont be able to fly precise without real controller. It. Will be cool for prestart/start procedures or just flying around but no way in combat. Anyway it is not supported yet and if it will be we will see Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

You can see it in the escape menu on the botton right corner of the window Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

And another one, how would you use your thumb stick while keep holding the stick when touch cant track your tumb, how would you rotate something, it tracks your hand not your fingers ? And the same goes for all other hotas controls like trimmer, target lock, ptt, TDC for AC that have one and so on, there are too many hotas requried actions in hot situations... I cant see this working effectively anyway. But again it is just my opinion.

Yeah but you have to hold it in the air, without resting your hand, also even without center you still have some feeling where the stick is.. nah this aint going to work I m pretty sure.. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Flying whitout feeling for the controller? How would you control your inputs ? How would you find stick center? That will be funny [emoji2] I think the only workable solution will be a gloves thin enough so you can hold and feel throtle and stick with them. Touch will be nice to try but in combat scenario trackball next to the stick combined with look and flip is much more effective. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Same for me ka-50, mirage, the mouse is locked like you have deselected "use mouse" in the VR menu.
-
Not realy, at some point mirage will have to turn its radar on to lock. Su get the targets on the hdd via DL it does not have to ask for bearing every second which makes it easier to go around the target and approach from outside the radar cone. With awacs, su can stay hidden and get close enough from left/right of the mirage's radar cone, lock with irst and shoot r73 wvr or ET at longer range. I m not saying it will always work but it gives the su27 an advantage at certain situations. It is all about combination of tactics/pilot skill and knowing your and opponent aircraft capabilities. Training Missions bug tracker / improvements
metzger replied to baltic_dragon's topic in Training Missions
I meant to leave it as it is configuration wise, visibility etc....We are flying mostly on clear visibility and this part of the sim is uknown for many, praciting lwo visibility is great. They can ofc explain a little better sink rate speed correct alltitude and distance for the approach etc.. If you are confortable of landings it is not a big issue like it is but for rookies it can be frustrating. -
F-15 yes. Su-27 I disagree, again, if there is no awacs. When m2k is jamming you can't realy fire ER so much earlier than 530 and if you do it won't be very high percent kill and it will be easily evaded and when the su has 530 fired at it it needs to engage defensive or it is over. Also note that in tws even when jammed m2k shows you much more information like velocity vector direction and intercept square so you can position yourself to make very good shot while beeming the first ER. Training Missions bug tracker / improvements

Yeah. A2A mission is fine for me. The ILS is very challenging but great for practicing, I managed to lend it at my 3rd attempt and I would say leave it as it is. I also noticed that the mirage is a bit tricky on tuch down but just takes some practice and broken gears :) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk -
I have the same one with the switches and I dont like the switches because are very clunky and as you say do not stay in upper or lower positions.
-
Absolutley. They are of a huge help it does not metter some details are not working yet. I find the manual not detail enough and the training missions helped me alot to understand some procedures and systems.

Training Mission 10 (INS Offset bombing) cannot update INS
metzger replied to Home Fries's topic in Training Missions
Yeah for me it is the same. Also the intructions says that a nav cue will appear on the hud after the first update, but no cue appears until you fly over the IP so I guess the update does not work. And I think the bomb release is broken, the bomb is released immediately when I press the trigger and does not wait the cue to line up with the diamond (it moves fast so I m not so sure). -
Knowing the soviet technology during 80s-90s I am amazed that it flies at all [emoji1] Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I also find that Super 530 is harder to evade. In pure head to head bvr and no awacs I would say mirage has slight advantage. But if there is an AWACS the flanker get very good picture on its hdd and can turn its radar off using only irst and the mirage will never know where this r73 came from. :) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I don't have one, and I would never bind this key :) Does it work for you? If you clear Num5 from general prfile and aircraft profile, does it still recenter the view? Actualy it is not related to aircraft cause it recenters it while in the game menus also. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Yeah, it will be pointless unless some sort of gloves come available. Remember the old nintendo powerglove :D Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I might be wrong here but I believe yes. As it shows negative numbers sometimes so I assume for example -5 is your alt -500 feet. Again I m not sure, this is how I use it. It is not really explained on the manual or anywhere else I could find. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Right of the TDC there are small numbers indicating bottom and top of the cone related to t your altitude on the TDC position. Also a switch on the radar panel if fliped to "z" the same numbers will show the center of the cone. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Looks good, I am interested, I might even need 2 of them, one for right panel and one for left :)

Well, I m time limited and prefer to spend this time in flying :) I have an old logitech force3d but never tought about converting it to button box. If you can build me one, may be we can figure out something :) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Does anyone knows a good button boxes with rottarys and 2/3 positional switches. I was looking arround the net but mostly there is sim racing stuff. Thanks. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
