Then may be the server admin should decide where the aim is? More realistic style or more arcade ? I dont mind anybody to do it as he wants to. There might be a server with labels and unlimited ammo I dont have a problem with that. I thought blue flag server and players are more realism aimed and was looking very optimistic about it, but after some experience and forum following I gave up on it. Cause of such discussions I gave up on blue flag. It slowly become just another "takeoff and shoot something" server. I figured out that for realistic MP experience you need to join a good squadron. In public MP always will have people arcady attitude like "why to use the real radios when we can simply use ts". Its like why would I fly with full fidelity module when we have fc3... It is difficult in real live also. I have completed campaigns for ka50, a10, huey, mig29 and so on.. Have some a2a kills in blue flag and a lot of SP successful air combat. Also a lot of MP with huey with 229th. All this in rift CV1 and even some with dk2. Never used any labels and spoting targets was no harder than with my old 32 tv. I can never go back to the tv again it is night and day. Like returning to 14inch crt from 52 4k led... I would not wait definitely, rift or vive I dont know I would go for the rift as it is better supported in dcs. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

In the last mission of the advanced for target 4 he says to kill only the tanks. There are 3 of them which I killed. However it keep saying "nice pass, rengage" and after I land I got unqualified due to failing to kill all targets. Also in the practice mission he wants me to kill all targets and not only the tanks. I watched recon's videos and after he kills the 3 tanks it says "that's a kill" so I am guessing it's broken since some of the newer updates. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

In the real aircraft if you bank you don't feel it, this is why it's hard flying without visual reference to the ground and only on instruments. This chair looks fancy but it is more like child attraction like a Rollercoaster than anything that can simulate G or realistic feeling at all :) Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Try to check synchronize controls at startup (I don't remember exactly the name) in the settings. It should solve this issue. The start sequence depends on the wind. Afaic in order to have hydraulic you need the left engine, so in calm wind left has priority. I m not sure how but it generally depends on the wind which engine you should start first. Hey Cowboy, It is better almost everywhere but don't expect miracles. The res is still low and the sde is still there but noticeably better than dk2. It is lighter more comfortable with better straps, less cables coming out of it and with his own headset you dont need to put more stuff on your head. Also tracking is better, can track 360 degrees and never loose track while with dk2 you cant go without recenter button on the hotas, in cv1 you don't really need it. I can't tell you if it worth the money, this depends on your budget, for me - yes it worth the upgrade but it really depends how can you afford it. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

I just mesured my IPD and it seems it is 68-69 approx. and in dcs it is configured eye_shift = -0.032; for left eye and eye_shift = 0.032; for right eye which is 64 and probably #PiedDroit is wright that this is the reason I see everithing like a toy. I was changing the settings in my install dir while there should be the same file in the saved games folder which overwrites the one in the install dir. Will try it later and hope it will work. But this is fundamental for ED to make a slider or something inside the game settings as it ruins the VR expirience for everyone with IPD different from 64.

You can remove the foam of your rift or buy aftermarket, it should be little better but not much it is just physical human limitation. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

I guess you are just not familiar how missions and campaigns work in dcs.. When I started dcs I was also confused how to accomplish missions but in time you get used to it. I just completed basic training qualifications and did not have any issues knowing that I have to hit escape and quit after the introduction ended. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Well this is how it is... You cant rotate your head 360 degrees. The rift blocks your peripheral a little bit but it is not much easier with helmet and "g" load. IRL checking six is done by wingmen and 1v1 dogfights are not usual if at all happens. If theg shot your wingmen or lead, you should disengage if possible. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
