If you land with aircraft not trimmed for takeoff(obviously you trimmed it for whatever reason during the flight) a warning for take off configuration is triggered and it stays there until you take off again. I am not really sure if this is the reason for the warning but I see no other and I cant retrim I cant see any takeoff trim indication or trim reset button. Any advice on that ? Thanks.

Did the 1.5.5.59744 Update 1 fix VR performance?
metzger replied to Jamesp1's topic in Virtual Reality
No performance issues with 1.5.5 for me and never heard of any. There are indeed for 2.0.4 but no for 1.5.5. At least for me. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk -

All this is already done. Including general profile and the new action is working but it also recenter the view. Looks like it is hardcoded somehow and no metter what you do in the profile config it is still recenters the view. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I did, but it still recenter my view along the new action I bind it. Set it in the specific aircraft menu and cleared it in the general menu. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Is it possible to remove this binding? I m using the numpad for abris and Ins in mirage and it is very annoying when I press "5" to type a coordinate and it mess up my view. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Hi guys, As title says, what are the small numbers next to TDC on the VTB? On the left side is the distance but what are both on the right side? I know they are related to the alltitude but not sure exactly how. Is it alltitude related to my current altitude, for instance -5/10 means the radar scans 500 feet below and 1000 feet above me ? It is strange that it is not mentioned neighter on the manual or in the training missions. Thanks Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Dial the "0" digit before 42.28..... You have to dial 0422845 Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

In M10 I got confused and struggle to hit the target. When he says to press BAD button to check HSI after configuring offset ponts etc The thin needle and bme is suppose to show the offset point but it does not happen it shows copletely different direction and does not change at all after depressing the BAD. Also it says to update the position of the IP on the center of the runway and after the first update a nav cue will appear on the hud but, nothig is changed on the hud after the update. The "wings" appeared after overflying the IP. He says not to press the val button before finishing the bomb run but AFAIK to update I need to press the val button ?! And why I should not press it ? And finaly after I finish the bomb run I cant do a second pass cause offset point I created becomes WP2 and IP dssapears. May be I do something wrong but I tried it 4-5 times with the same result.

The f10 map shows lat/long coordinates in minutes and seconds while the ins requires decimal minutes format. You can find in google a lat/long converter instead of doing it manualy. Just do some reading about lat/long navigation, it will be very useful. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

What I noticed is that It does not realy need to be trimed so much if at all, it just stays where you want. In su27/mig29 you need to constantly retrim. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

M-2000C for DCS World by RAZBAM - Available for Pre-Purchase
metzger replied to MemphisBelle's topic in M-2000
It is on stable. I updated yesterday and I have campaign and training. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk -
I noticed that too, it is very stable and easy to pull g's. It compares to mig29 SFM. But I guess it is due to the advanced fly by wire system which is unique for the modules we currently have. Mig21 is also delta wing but it is much older so I don't thing they are comparable. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

It is always good to fly formation against another human formation and execute many to many tactics :).Going for MP coop is great fun but different expirience. For A2A I find the AI good only for practice missile evasion, detection and missile ranges etc.. I was referring for people who like pvp missions. So yes against AI or private servers labels work. But if OP intensions are to do pvp battles it is not easy to find server or even dcs squadrons which use labels. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

It is fine as long as you fly SP. But A2A with bots sux and you won't find any servers with labels enabled. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

And you can't save a plan into the database, save FSK does nothing. I guess database is broken. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Well yes but you will remove yor hand hit the swith and take the stick again. And not looking for a controller, it is the same now but instead of controller you use the mouse. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

I wonder the same. But it seems you have to hold the touch, this means you have to remove your hand from the hotas, take the touch(while you have the rift on you so you cant see too much) then do what you do, leave it and get the hotas again, I think a good button box whith rotarys and switches placed on a proper position is better investment for DCS specificaly. But there would be other good stuff for touch like shooters etc... My 2 cents.. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Yeah that makes sens Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Well yes but in order to check your six with TRACKIR you turn your head 10 degrees(which is sort of cheating toghether with zoom) With VR you have to rotate with your body and head keeping the controls and flying the same time and just when you would be able to see your six the rift limits your vision(which can be the same wearing helmets/glasses real ww2 pilots do) and this extra efford needed gives me neck pain after 20-30 minutes dogfighting :) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Hm.. I don't think number of pixels are different in vr or monitor. Vr is no different than montor you just looks at it very close. If the bandit is rendered on 2 pixels in a monitor it will be the same on the vr screen with the same res but you will see those 2 pixels larger. The sde is messing the visibility for VR. I have some expirience with the dora against avarage p51 ai and most of the time I kill him. The problems for me were more like checking my six due to the limited fov and the fact that the AI flyes very clean while I overpull sometimes or mess the rudder inputs but this is another topic. Mig-29s can shoot r-77s and is able to track and shoot 2 targets at a time. With awacs or gci it is capable bvr. Yeah r77 is unlikely to hit the target but that's another story.. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
