FIRST go to EHSD - DATA - AC. Enter the coordinates and the Variation. THEN switch the selector to GND. Make sure the UFD rotary is on "bright".

I have to admit that i have no clue about developing a module but there are 2 things coming in my mind when it comes to comparing these two cases: 1.: When the Hawk came out there was no Early access. It was still called „Beta Version“, which basically is the same - just another name for this concept. Iirc the Hawk was released as some sort of „PreBeta“ version - just to try it already. When VEAO disappeared the Hawk was still not even close to be feature complete. It was even worse than any other module at the beginning of EA nowadays. While the Hawk is a really great aircraft, the VEAO module was very buggy, crappy and lacking of lots of features - not really worth the effort keeping it in the current state as it was in the game. In the RB case - appart from the F-15E - the other 3 modules are supposed to be feature complete and „just“ need bug fixing (i think it sounds much easier as it actually is). 2.: Even though i really like the Hawk and would instantly buy it again, i think the 3 RB modules are much more popular aircrafts than the Hawk. This two considerations (in my opinion) makes this whole story completely different from what happend to the Hawk.

MSFS is MicroSOFT not MicroPROSE. Do you have a source for that? And please not this YT Video where someone thinks to see the MicroProse Logo at the stand of Razbam in Japan..... Microprose made the Strike Eagle Series in the 90s. But i think this is not really related to DCS at all....

Well, while i totally agree with you, it could be pretty plausible why Metal2Mesh has this picture which he posted on reddit: Maybe he asked Ron Zambrano for his personal payment and he replied that he already asked Nick Grey for the payments to the company. By sending him a screenshot of this conversation he wanted to proof that he's not lying... and then, when all this started, M2M posted this screenshot on reddit - still very unproffessional and if i were Ron Zambrano i would be pretty pi**ed about that. But all these pictures and screenshots of these conversations can also be just fakes. I could easily start a whatsapp chat, calling myself "Ron" and asking a friend to call himself "Nick". Putting a DCS SE Cockpit Screenshot as a background and here we go.... I'm 100% sure there are lots of trolls out there in the WORLD wide web enjoying sh*t like this and spreading rumors, panic and false information. Imo all this is not official and that means i don't care about these kind of information...

Yep.... that would be nice. If we would have some sort of guarantee that ED would buy the code and continue with the SE in the worst case it would be very reassuring. But for that..... RB has to sell their code first. And i'm not sure if they would do so if they sepperate in a very bad way....

Hast Du mal probiert die Zuweisung nur zu löschen, nicht neu zu belegen und danach dann das Spiel neu zu starten? Danach konnte ich ganz normal belegen. -
I said DON'T close this thread - just in case you missed that point. What i would like to have is a SEPERATE (additional) thread which is closed and where only the mods can write something as soon as there are official news. Keep this thread for the discussion but open a seperate thread for official news on the topic which is closed for every kind of discussions. In this case everyone who doesn't want to read here but also doesn't want to miss any official news can just avoid this thread and check for any new comments in the closed one - because if there is a new post it must be official. At the moment there is no other way as reading this thread if you want to know if there are official news on that topic.

Wow.... 2 different people with 2 completely opposite opinions and i couldn't agree more with BOTH of them which makes me feel a little bit like a schizo I'm 100% with Beirut because this thread is needed for people who really want to discuss this topic. No matter of OT conversations, rumors or conspiracies. It is as it is - a pretty serious situation for lot's of users and many people are worried about some of their most favorite modules which makes this thread even more important because people want - or maybe even need to talk about that. On the other side i absolutely agree with Hammer1-1 because this thread is useless if you want some information. It's just full of opinions, rumors and people are floating into off topic conversions again and again about legal stuff or the meaning of different words or other things.... For me personally it's always a bit annoying when i see that there is a new post here, open this thread and hoping there are some official news just to read some more BS. But closing this thread would also be useless because as soon as this thread is closed someone would open a new one. What i would like to have is as sepperate and closed thread with all the informations about the situation (just like the first post in this thread) where only the mods can write if there are some official news and keep this thread open for all the discussions, cleaned by the mods from time to time like they do it already now. That might be helpfull for all who want to ignore this thread but don't want to miss any new official information.

Hatte das selbe Problem - mit einigen Modulen und betraf jedesmal die selbe Achse. Neustart allein hat nichts gebracht. Erst die Belegung löschen, dann neu starten und dann neu belegen hat bei mir funktioniert. Ich habe die F-4 noch nicht installiert. Gekauft ja, aber ich warte noch etwas, bis ich mehr Zeit dafür habe. Daran sollte es also nicht liegen. Das Problem wird in einigen Unterforen und auch im internationalen ED Teil bereits diskutiert - bist also nicht alleine. Das rote Ausrufezeichen habe ich so auch noch nicht gesehen - hab mich auch gefragt, was das bedeutet. Es weisst auf jeden Fall auf irgendeine Schwierigkeit hin

I have the same problem. But i don't have FC2024. I have FC3 and it always says i can install it but when i do so it just restarts the game with the same message but the problem still exists. EDIT: looks like it's not only with the KW. Same with the Hind and the Throttle of the F-16... -
And most probably it‘s full of bugs - which could end up in a nice „Starship Troopers“ Assets and Module Pack. Could be worse

That‘s not a shame. That‘s just sad. I‘ve got a couple of friends who lost their jobs and some of them still didn‘t recover. But the companies with this kind of reserves are still in business. As i said, i don‘t know if it‘s a fake or true. I just saw it on reddit - that‘s it. Yes you are right, that would have been a huge loss, but hey: they managed it and found a solution - together with ED - so obviously it’s not impossible. I don‘t know if i would call it „extreme“ to prepare your company financial wise for some different kinds of crises. Usually everyone no matter if single person or company has a plan B in case of failure or other related problems. In my opinion that‘s more normal than extreme.

I've no clue about that - but i think not just a few. I'm no expert but just someone reading the forum here - not more and the following is just my point of view. A couple of weeks ago the rumors of HB not getting paid for a year were somehow confirmed in a very questionable way - by unauthorized published private corresponence. Maybe it was just a fake - i don't know. I just saw it. Did we notice when that happend? No - everything was fine for us because we didn't know - so, no worries. Where are they now? After raising the bars in DCS with their Tomcat they finished their 2 modules and released a second version of their Tomcat - as promised. They made partnership with another 3rd party dev. to bring a Gen 4+ aircraft (the EF Typhoon) to DCS in the future and raising the bars again with their freshly released Phantom for which they are working on other different versions. Additionally to that they have another module (A-6E) in the pipeline. Now RB didn't get paid for one year. Did we notice when that happend? Hell YES. Since three month everyone who likes their modules is really worried. And there are a couple of threads here full of speculations. Where are they now? They stoped working on their products and the support, went public with the issue, blamed ED for not paying them and most probably they went to court. Also they left their customers behind because it's not yet clear what will happen to their modules and if the F-15E will see a final release at all. Do you see a difference between these two companies? Could it be that one of them is a good one - probably with a solid financial plan and one not? Just my opinion but anyway - i think this whole conversation will be deleted soon from this thread (for understandable reasons).

Not really for years but a financial reserve for a defined period? Yes - at least a good company has something like this. It's part of a so called business plan. And if you don't have something like this: here in this thread and subforum you can see a good example of what happens.

Did the UH-1, Mi-8 and L-39 have Multicrew already before the release of the Tomcat? I’m a single player so i’m not really sure - that’s why i’m asking. Or are you talking abaout an AI Crewmember like Jester? But regarding the A/G Radar - the first module with that feature was not the Hornet but the Viggen. In my personal opinion the F-15E was a really good release with a lot of potential. But i think it‘s not just about the state of the module at the release of EA. It‘s more about the aircraft itself. The Strike Eagle is a worldwide used and i think it’s a very famous aircraft. I guess a lot of people (like me for example) are feeling a bit like coming back to the 90s playing the Microprose Strike Eagle games and the Janes F-15. I can‘t imagine (pretty naive - i know) that such a famous aircraft and complex piece of 12 years of work will just go the way of the BAE Hawk. But IF it does, it would be rally sad.

Nose Wheel Steering on the Stick should center the TPod to the HUD. Maybe you have to press it twice - not sure at the moment.

So that means no matter what happens, we will keep the Harrier, M2K and the MiG-19 at least at the current state? That‘s great to hear. Really great . But i hope at the end of course the same for the SE (finished, of course). It‘s a great module.

I agree - i think we will not see any of the RB modules in the sale nor the Phantom. But these videos are just to advertise a sale not to show which aircraft will be in the sale and which ones not. There was also a sequence with the Chinook. You are right: it's not the first sale and not the first video to announce one . But i also think we should stop talking about this here because seems to be an F-15E thread, right ? Yepp. That's why i said i wouldn't show any of the RB modules if i had to make this video.

Oh come on.... do you REALLY think after 2 month of silence from ED (which in my opinion is the more professional way) they would tease a potential (unlucky / negativ) outcome of the negotiations and the whole current situation in such a subtle way? There are no modules at all from Polychop, Aerges or IndiaFoxtEcho in this video - so what? And to be honest: if i would have to make this video on behalf of ED i would absolutely refrain from showing any RB modules at the moment for obvious reasons. I mean what would you think if the F-15E or one of the other RB modules would have been shown in a sales announcement video? "Situation unchanged" or "Still no news on that"? No, i think most of the people would see that as a clear signal that most probably they are about to solve the problems and are getting back to normal - finally. Would be a pretty bad move if that wouldn't be true.
