Anyone know if theres a file that contains the distance at which explosions are visible? As of now the explosions effect has much shorter visibility range than tracers, smoke and fire, missile smoke and so on.

In recent updates I think the expolsions visibility has decreased alot. Now I have to zoom in to be able to see them at pretty close ranges, and when I do the effects pop in. Note, this is only explosion effects, not smoke and fire from burning vehicles. Anyone else noticing this or is it a local problem for me? My visibility is set to extreme. Cheers!

The volume slider works great for the switches. Thanks. But would it be possible to add buttons audio to be controlled with the same switch?

Hej! Having gotten sick of the brokenness of the current ED modules I want to start learning the ins and outs of the AJS 37. Which is the best and most in depth place to start learning the Viggen? I’m talking guides/tutorials..

Yes, of course. But since there is no tactile feedback in a mouse clicking on a button or next to a button an audible click is a perfect inbetween solution.

I lost the sound of buttons/switches in the cockpit after the last open beta update. Anyone else?

So, for me the click sound when pressing buttons or toggling switches in the cockpit is gone in the latest open beta. Because... why not? Tried repair and reinstall to no help.

I have no inside information, just wild speculation here. The A-10C has taken the back seat. Like way back. The priorities of ED now lies in the new modules and each new thing implemented risks ruining something for the A-10C and will remain broken untill all new modules are completed. I’d say 2020 for the updated cockpit is optimistic.

Does this issue persist with the latest open beta?

No. I don't feel comfortable running those kinds of software. This problem is up to ED to solve since no other games have this kind of ridiculous workaround solution for this kind of problem. It's like we have to "pump" the game up into working, I might aswell start shoveling coal into my PC and do a rain dance and hope it works.

Didn’t work for me unfortunately.

So, removing the fxo and metashaders folders from the Bazar folder and then running a repair works after you do it enough times, but after a DCS restart it’s back to broken again. Yesterday night I sat for an hour straight doing this over and over again trying to get it working.

In the latest beta update the trees look like they have a wavy pattern to them.

Yeah this is really disheartening. I also tried the method for fixing it and it worked once, after a restart of DCS it's back again and cannot be fixed using the same method.

I’ve heard this said over and over again for more than six years, but I’ve never seen any source of any ED contracts or deals. Do you have one or is this just some guestimation made in to fact by constant repetition? Honest question, not trying to come across as douchy.

I reverted back to the last version without it.

I'd say it's gotten worse.

For me it got worse in the last OB update.
