  1. It seems as if in certain angles the HUD symbols leak through to the glass frame. If I move my head forward the symbols will move to the other side of the frame, and if I move my head back they will move to the inside of the frame.
  2. I think this topic has been discussed once or maybe twice here before. Never say never, but don’t hold your breath.
  3. There’s been problems with ground units not advancing like they should. This might be related to that as it sounds like a ground unit is given a move command but does not move.
  4. I noticed the ground crew refuse to reload or refuel the jets saying I need my engines at idle (which they are).
  5. I’ve been having problems with ground units refusing to move all of a sudden. It seems to be related to waypoints given to the units mid mission (via script or Combined Arms interaction). From out of nowehere the units will stop and refuse to move regardless of any orders. Has anyone else encountered this?

  12. That is heavily dependant on range. Close your left eye and hold out your arm and use one finger to cover a far away object, now open your left eye and close your right eye.
  13. I can’t open the new cockpit files. Either photoshop throws an error or the files are all black (sure, the cockpit is dark, but not that dark). I’ve had no problem opening .dds until now.

  15. Agreed. For instance, in startup when starting the BIT, you cant see the text without crouching down.
  16. The left fire extinguisher handle <L ENG> is on the right and the right fire extinguisher handle <R ENG> is on the left.
  17. The side windows of the cockpit canopy is no longer yellow as they should be.
  18. I noticed that the stripe that goes from the back of the canopy to the top of the canopy is missing in the new cockpit update. It’s there on the real aircraft, so it should be there in the new cockpit.
  19. The new one is a completely new model, not just textures. It would be unreasonable to expect ED to keep every old model of everything as an option to cater to each one of our specific preferences while moving forward. I say get used to it and wait for ED to make adjustments after reading our feedback on the new version.
  20. Looks great! Thanks! A couple of issues, some mentioned before: - HUD not fully visible, you have to move your head around to see all the info. - Too dark unless in the middle of the day. Flood lights/cockpit lights way to dim. - Yellow side windows missing. - Top center strip of the cockpit canopy glass (the strip that goes from the back of the canopy glass along the top of the canopy to about where the pilots head is) is missing.
  21. Glad its not just me. Didn’t they rework the explosion effects a while back? Maybe they forgot to ad LODs or entered the visibility range settings wrong. I feel it should be visible from ten times the range they are visible now. Hope this gets noticed.

This is a problem when planes are attacking ground units with explosive weapons in your vinvinity, you can completely miss that the engagement is taking place until they hit something and thr burning vehicles effect kicks in. Also artillery barrages you can also completely miss they are taking place, unless zoomed in on their exact position. Tracer effects = good visibility, hard to miss. Missile launch smoke effect = good visibility, hard to miss. Misc smoke effects = good visibility, hard to miss. Explosion effects = really poor visibility, easy to miss unless zoomed in. Is there really no way for me to increase explosion draw distance? The effect is really nice but it renders far to short.
  23. That was a nice mod, but unfortunately it does nothing to improve visibility distance for the explosions. Thanks for the tip tough.
  24. В последних обновлениях я думаю, что видимость expolsions значительно снизилась. Теперь мне нужно увеличить изображение, чтобы видеть их на довольно близких расстояниях, и когда я делаю, появляются эффекты. Обратите внимание, это только взрывные эффекты, а не дым и огонь от горящих автомобилей. Кто-нибудь еще замечает это или это локальная проблема для меня? Моя видимость настроена на крайность. Ура!
