    Great - every time you do this "mini updates" I get instant urge to got behind the stick and just fly around ! Can't wait to see your secrect projects made public.
  4. Do we know ED's sources on the matter ? What are they aiming for - surely it must be realism, regardless if it is "just" FC3 the sandbox/world that we all fly in should have proper working mechanics so we all can enjoy the best realistic experience. I do not care if that means if missile A or B don't stand a chance vs one another. As long as it is implemented correctly with out bugs or anything like that. Then we have something to point at, or aim for (^^) every time these posts are popping up on the forum. Or do we have to wait for F/A-18 release before we can have a guarantee that weapon systems are not "FC3" :) either it is game mechanics or it is the formulation(simulation?) that need to be adjusted :)

  6. So would that mean that the bug lies in the HUD symbolic ? It sounds to me then, that when the radar picks up the chaff then the HUD/radar would as well show/follow that you have locked on to a new source ? i'm just trying to understand basic stuff here. :helpsmilie:
  7. Not on my side - THough - I normally turn all the ligths off - After restart my MFD light was on and even that it still said off in the control panel I simply had to move the slider a little and the thing light went off again.

In "missile testing.acmi" at around 7.20min I fail to understand why it looks like the radar is locking on to the already deployed chaff. <- The ER's are kind of turning back in like they acguired new lock. Unless your radar/HUD shows exatly that is the problem/bug to be found in the chaff or in the radar ? (im not trying to be naughty/troll - im just that stupid and really don't understand what is going on) - It looks like your radar is beaming the chaff and totally ignoring the airframe. EDIT: Trying to be more precise in my question :)
  10. Regardless - Would it not benefit all of us if some kind of standard method to calculate and model ingame-missiles were designed ? Then we can debate over the pK and defensive and so on. Every thing else is speculation Or we could simply create a Tacview library and use that for comparison between the new or old "fixes/tweaks/bugs" o7 Edit: gramma
  11. I would enjoy the H out of a B-25-Mitchell - It can bomb and supply, + still get low enough to make skip bombing a thing :bounce:
  12. BTW - Do we still need to Alt+Enter ? Sometimes I forget it and I have to admit that I don´t really notice any difference.. I have very old PC - 2500K with 8gb RAM and for video it is gtx 780 - So maybe that is why I don't get any better or worse experience. Thank you o7
  13. Every time they go and change this ingame-data I feel as they are taking one step closer to the WarThunder mentality/concept. When you release something - It can/should only be changed/corrected because new information is made available to the public. if ED´s data is already public for us then we simply need to look there. If not, well they better create that document for all you data crunchers to test and approve/disprove them. :book: I know that the BETA excuse is a good card to pull on players and I hope that it is not the case. This is not what will stop me from playing the Flanker but it is a pain to know that you have basically only your adversaries fault or wrong decision to blame for your own success. The same can easily be said about the AMRAAM and its missing BVR capabilities.. (well, as I understand it) It should be about pilot vs pilot skills, and not about game-mechanics A vs game-mechanics B to the degree we have now. o7

  17. The new eagle I only need to use nws when I have 3 bags loaded. Did not experience any faults yet but it feels a lot more sensitive on touchdown and during rotation.
  18. I do hope that we could see more tools for the guys creating big community/Multiplayer events. That is sort of my "Dynamic campaign" MIA: MISSING IN ARMCHAIR - Greater tools for the guys creating community events where what ever module I fly can shine and make best use. SP is great for learning in a controlled and static environment. Oh and bring on some high fidelity fighters to support that high fidelity A-10C.
  19. It is mostly about teamplay. - So sign up (why not. Just do it) and join TS for some good laughs and some serious gameplay. You will be less effective if you just randomly join and without being on TS to actually know what is currently going on. To many lonewolfs fly around and don't ad force to the team. We don't need that ;) But as I understand it you can just open up DCS and connect the server with out doing anything.. Edit: I spell like a brokenwindwill make flavour :)

  21. Some time ago I saw in the news, that some fools were pointing pocket lasers on/into the cockpit on the planes that were about to land in Copenhagen airport. I then google a little and what I find on looked to be very dangerous for the pilots SA. My question: Is this a missing feature in DCS or are the modules we fly different in cockpit/glass design ?(it would seem odd to leave that out of public transportation liners though, but that is another thread) I have played several night missions in various modules and also killed tanks with help from TGP so the situation for me to be "lazed" by enemy gf have had it chance to show many times. yet I have never seen this kind of "break of lightbeams" in my cockpit. Or is it due to low settings or something completely different ? Thank you for reading. Sry if this have been asked many times before I just can't find anything on forums.eagle.ru
  22. You can find a option for "mini hud" iin Gameplay tab/menu. Not sure how many modules support this. It is not a bug.
  23. Any word from the Delaymeister ? I am about to send my list to Santa and just wanted to know if I should leave a blank spot for possible christmas module surprice release. I plan to spoil Santa with xtra butter on the risengrød and even dark beer. So it better be good ;)
  24. Maybe that are the reason to why I sometimes see my mouse-courser and can only make it go away by simply hiding it in the bottom or right side.. Just like as if I was on desktop.
