  1. Would be good if you just tell us this before it gets pushed forward, because it sounds like there was zero chance of it coming out before the weekend. We have no clue how ED do things, and they don't communicate with us. If you see everyone hyping about it coming out wednesday/thursday/friday, just say 'no it's not'. Easier for everyone.

According to this, practically everything could carry the ALARM. http://www.ausairpower.net/alarm-armat.html Don't really see the point of the ECR version, with how limited EW is in DCS you'd essentially have to roleplay it. So is the GR4 possible you guys think? Would it not still be classified?
  4. Doesn't say much though, entirely depends on what he considers to be close. In DCS terms 2 weeks is still probably considered as imminent. Hence my asking, there's really no information whatsoever. You can interpret it however you want.

  8. Yeah when firing within parameters they pretty much don't miss. Think I had one pair that couldn't make some ridiculous turn once but that's about it. I think it has to do mostly with the 21s radar giving the R3R firing que at a very close range, where it's nearly unavoidable. Then again they have the range of a decent IR missile at best, and in a scenario where you face 15s and 27s most of the time. I can't say it feels incredibly unfair. Though that's a topic for a different thread I think.
  9. Radar missiles are a big thing, and the R3R is deadly. If the 21 can grab the Viggen with its radar, the Viggen pilot will need to do work to evade it. I doubt it would be viable to headon into it and try and AIM9 the 21 before the R3R gets you. After the merge, who knows.
  10. It sounds like you are saying it's full manual input, can it not take coordinates directly from radar data?
  11. Does anyone know how the BK90/Mjolnir was targeted? Could the pilot designate a target for it on the fly or were GPS coordinates entered before each mission?

  13. The AJS doesn't normally have a gun installed either right? Seems like an odd choice especially for an attacker.
  14. I wonder if there's any chance of getting both a fighter and attack version, anyone know how extensive the rework would be in systems and pit? Since they are going out of their way to give us two F14s, who knows. EDIT: meant to post this in the other thread, oh well.

  16. Well at least 70% of the map might as well not exist as it is, due to none of it being anywhere near an airfield. So unless you want to airstart/fly for ages it is not really usable terrain. We need a ton more airfields, at least 10 to 15, to actually have the map reach its potential especially for MP.
  17. Does this newer version have any influence on the weapons carried? Last thing I read was 2 Sidewinder only as the maximum air to air loadout?
  18. Not just the switches, nothing at all is working for me in the 21. Not even throttle or stick input.
  19. Any chance this bug can be achknowledged by the devs? It's been getting quite frustrating as it's happening about every other flight online in the 21, forcing you to shut down the sound for the rest of the flight.

  21. Thanks for the info. It looks great and pretty much exactly what I always wanted to see in a game like DCS. I'll probably drag some other people with me if I'd jump in so wanted to know exactly what was up.
  22. Do you have to be registered to participate in this or can someone just jump in anytime and start flying? Can't really tell for sure if it's a requirement of an optional thing from the pdf.
  23. The activation process? Tried it with the A10C and it just seemed to burn an activation. There's some issue connecting in the module manager as well. Probably has something to do with it.
  24. Which folders exactly did you copy? I'm not entirely sure how it could not have the files anymore, I played these planes yesterday on the same beta install. So unless 1.5 force removed them I don't see how they can be gone. yet I can't access them.
  25. Ya ok, seems like modules def aren't loading. Can anybody confirm a module outside of the Su25T and the TF51 as being flyable?
