  1. If that was the case then it would be true for the NATO ones, and the distance was only approximately 20nm, I even had a KA-27 up aswell. Recently since the last update I've seen a lot of things not doing what they should.
  2. It may just be something I'm encountering, but I've had some missions where I've had Russian ships not firing on NATO/enemy ships. They'll fire on aircraft and try to shoot down missiles heading towards them, but they wont fire anti-ship missiles.
  3. Could we have similar options for the ships that we do with ground vehicles, such as changing to different waypoints, hold, etc etc? Also could we have aircraft like the Tu-142 act like FACs for them and for anti-ship aircraft like the Su-24, 34 and Tu-22? Also a command for submarines to submerge at a waypoint?
  4. I've got it working now, not sure how, but I thought I'd just delete the MiGs and replace them (copied and pasted them) and now they do what they're supposed to do.
  5. I'll upload it. There are no player aircraft, I was building it to serve as a template for future missions for a variety of aircraft.

I've set up a pair of MiG-31s escorting an A-50, and I want them to engage anything at long range, the A-50 is way behind the front line, by about 150nm, and if anything comes within 120nm, I want the MiGs to go off and intercept them. I'm trying to use as much as the map as possible and engage threats to an AWACS at long range, as I would expect them to IRL, they follow the A-50 but do not break off and engage at all.
  7. Is an F-111 going to be added, noticed something in the ME. When you go into the mission editor and select an airbase and look at the warehouse, if you then select the "misc" list, it has an "F-111 Pave tack" pod listed, if this is in there does that mean an F-111 is in the pipeline?
  8. Loading missions is taking for ever, loading DCS is no different but missions are.

For a while now I've been hosting an MP server for myself and a friend, and it used to show up on the list of servers, but for a while it's not been visible and the only way my friend can join is via IP. It does require a password, but I have set it to "public", so I would have guessed that it would show up, any ideas why it isn't?
  11. On station 5, the Kh-29L is listed twice, and the KH-31A is missing, whereas on station 8 it is correct. Station 8 appears as follows... KH-25ML KH-25MPU KH-25MR KH-29L KH-29T KH-31P KH-31A Station 5 appears as follows... KH-25ML KH-25MPU KH-25MR KH-29L KH-29L KH-29T KH-31P Not yet tried it to see what gets loaded up in game though.
  12. What you could do is quickly switch to CCIP mode and drop it about 10 seconds early or late depending on relative direction.

  14. Got a problem with them closing in on some T-90's way too much. They have no problem with LOS, and the Hellfire missile according to all public data should have no problem reaching them from outside of the T-90's AT-11 missile engagement zone. Also for some reason the apaches want to climb to a ridiculous height, like 2000ft, yet at even 200ft and less, you can see there is no issue with LOS. Anyone know how to force them to stick to a position and fire from there, if possible?

  16. Still no joy, I've tried reassigning the keys to something other than default, and it has zero effect, even as a test I held right trim for nearly 5 minutes with no effect at all.
  17. The keys map ok, but none of them have any effect on the plane, don't know about other FC3 aircraft.
  18. Ok, I thought it was all being linked to our accounts, and hoped it would no longer care about hardware changes.
  19. I suspect the PSU, but at the same time I'm thinking that I'll do a major upgrade, mobo, CPU (currently i5) but looking at AMD's Rizen 7, ram change from ddr3 to ddr4. So given all those changes I assume that it will want to use up activations for all my stuff, is there a way of doing it without having to mess about with that? My install is on an SSD dedicated to DCS.

  21. I'm looking for stand off range for the way this mission is designed, so went with the SLAM.
  22. I've made a mission with 4 F/A-18 hornets using AGM-84Es to attack a pair of SA-10 sites with overlapping engagement zones, 2 hornets per site, each with two missiles. I've given specific targets, the search radars and track radars at each site, but they're ignoring their target lists, and attacking each others sites, the units I need dead are usually dead, but sometimes not because of them not following orders. Which sometimes leaves the northern site operational. The player (Harrier) task in this mission (I plan to make a campaign based off it) is to come in after the SLAMs have done their job and to mop up the southern site with Mavs and GBU-12's. Needless to say if the northern site is operational the best you can realistically do is use the Mavs and then turn south. If we could make certain units use the "invisible" option but not have it global, that would fix it, have it invisible to specific units, or fix the AI so they do as they're told.

  24. Everything I've read about viffing IRL is that it is very easy to overdo it and end up in uncontrolled flight, hence the recommendation to limit the angle.
