 I'm wondering how many people test really the game before an update release. And I'm wondering who agree to let the update release knowing those bugs ... I know it's open beta but ... how ?
-
Shame that they release an update with that kind of bug ...
-
Remember that not only DCS dev make study :music_whistling: And surprised don't mean disagree :smartass:
-
Yes I saw it when it was release. Again, I wasn't talking about how they work but how powerfull they are for so little planes.
-
If you are sure. I'm surprised but I'm for realism :pilotfly:

Yes Wake turbulences are dangerous. I don't mean it isn't. But I'm surprised it's so important. Last time, we took off with two Fw 190A8 with 250kg bombs. By "accident" the other plane past in front of me just after we left the ground. My Fw 190 almost get upside down in a second. I understand that big plane are dangerous for little plane. But that was weird to me that a Fw 190A could do that to another one. Thanks, I see it before. It's quite nice. But What I'm asking is not about how they work. It's more about how powerfull those are for warbirds. I'm just surprised that we get so big effect from plane that have almost the same size. I'm just wondering if it's normal or something that still need work.

+1 Asked for this in the DCS here too (with other things) : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=262622

Hello, Lot of people including me are surprised that the wake turbulence are that important behind warbirds. As I didn't see lot of information about this recently (maybe I missed it), I don't know if this feature of DCS is finished or not ? But For now flying behind a P51 or a Bf 109 is like flying behind a C130. It feel like it's a bit too important for those little planes. Thanks

[REPORTED] Fps drops when the engine is running
JG13Wulf replied to hazzer's topic in Bugs and Problems
Thanks for the information :) -
To have more skin, ED should consider to update the way skin are made. Would be nice to have the possibility to have several skin in one description lua and the possibility to add decals with separate files. Would be nice to be able to create a generic skin and then make in the lua : plane 1 : generic background and decal file 1 plane 2 : generic background and decal file 2 plane 3 : ... This would help to have 1 background for several skins and then to make variation of ot with some decals files. This would not be as nice as the skin we have now. But this would help to create the skin of almost all the plane of a squadron without using lot of space on HDD. Or maybe a system that allow to create a folder with generic files that the description.lua can access. For examples : personnalised pilots, patches, bort numbers, ... Now we have to put copy of them in all of our skin folder if we don't use the ED original texture. This is a big waste of space.

Looking at the size of skins it would be hard to ask people to buy hdd only because of skins :s (and even for skin for planes you Don t have)

I was talking about the arming indicator. Didn't use the correct english word ^^ It should light up if there is an armed bomb under the plane. If there is no bomb or it the selecor ins on Aus position, It should be off. Now it's off on Aus position, but It light up even if there is no bomb. The light missing I imaginje they will come with the F8 version or when we will be able to carry more than one bomb.
-
Can fly with both Wfr. Gr. 21 and outer wing Mg 151. Missing engine Wep. I think some engine tweak. Droptank. Other bombs (maybe F8).

Hello, Not talking about bug correction. But is it possible to have one day a simple update of all the warbirds to get the same levels of functionnality ? I explain myself : Today with the 3 german warbirds we have - Different "special" options : Bf 109 is able to set "ground trim". I think it should be the same for both 190. (probably for the I16 too but I don't know it enough to know if it was done) - Different controls on same/similar system : Bf 109K4 and Fw 190A8 we have master arm on dashboard and safety on the stick. Fw 190D9 have only the master arm on dashboard. The safety on the stick move automatically when shooting. - Cockpit oxygen valve : Bf 109 : click on it Fw 190 (both) : Press and move the mouse to open I think there are some more differences. And I think we will get the same problem with the P47 and P51 later. It's something that I dislike a lot in DCS. It's great to have different set of controls for each planes. But what should be similar in reality should be similar in game. Would love to see older plane getting the same controls details as the new one.
-
Hello, On the arming panel behind the stick, if you choose an arming position the light is set to on. This stay on even after dropping the bomb. Should be off when no bomb.

This happen to me during the flight. Coldstart and then see this in flight :

DCS: de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito FB Mk VI Discussion
JG13Wulf replied to msalama's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
My wallet is scared since this video show up ! :megalol: -
Thanks :) The original cat is not from me (but I make lot of work on it). Then I got some fun with the checker :joystick:
-
Another one totally fictionnal : As I'm leader of the JG 13 "Black cats" (fictive german squadron with checker as marking and black cats as squadron insigna), some ask me why I didn't make a JG13 skin to submit. As I said to them, I didn't want JG13 skin in the contest. But I decided to create a fictionnal (but semi-historic) skin that is similar to the JG13 one. So as the JG1 used checker on some of their Fw190, there is the Fw 190 A8 Black 13 "Schwarze Katze" from JG1. I tried to stay as close as possible to the original JG1 marking. And I add a "little" reference to the Black cat ! louder pilot breathing and airframe shudder sounds

Would be nice to have a fatigue system too. It would prevent people to make tons of hard move such as rudder left to right and then right to left constantly when getting shoot at ^^ -
Cannot rearm after clicking anything in the cockpit

See this : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=252955 If it's the same bug, it has been reported for the german warbirds. -

I m maybe wrong bu I think we have to not expect any bug correction. Before 2.5.6 released. -
:megalol::megalol: My captured 190 is updated :)

Found it. It is not at the same place as the other warbirds. coremods/aircrafts not coremods/WWII units
