  1. For german, you could find red, yellow, blue and white tracers if I remember correctly.
  2. Hello, Is it possible to add the Schwarm formation pattern in the formation selection ? It's an opposed finger four used by german during ww2. Instead of right hand finger four they were more commonly flying left hand "finger four" as the number 2 was often placed on the right of the leader for each flight. No 1 in front No 2 on right No 3 on left No 4 on left of number 3 Thanks.
  3. I reported month ago that vaucom make the fug 16 switch pop out. Answer from vaicom : it is a problem from the bf 109 code The bug has been reported but not fixed. So you can t use vaicom and srs at the same time with the 109.
  4. Agree. But as lot of people begin to complain on several discord, that's not the ROF that's wrong. That's the AI itself. But there is the same problem for every gunner of every plane. Hope to see big update on AI (pilot and gunner).
  5. I'm asking again. But please add static ground object such as anti-straffing shelter and airdrome ordonance. V1 are nice. But we don't have anything to put next to it. Bunker, fence, ... Those should be easier to make than tank or AAA that need AI to work.
  6. To give you an idea : Bowning M2 rate of fire : 500 shoot / min MG 81 rate of fire : 1600 shoot/min (get that from luftarchiv.de). This mean that the JU 88 can shoot 3200 rounds per minute over and under the plane as it have 2 separated MG 81 on the back and a MG81Z (double MG 81) under.
  7. The Ju88 had defensive gun with a little caliber but a really high firing rate. I don't mean it's the perfect one. But it's correct that it shoot that fast. But gunner precision is not realist !

  9. After damaging some of them to test, I remark that I can't get any smoke or fire effect on them until they break in half. I notice too that there are some artefact like this (white behind the rudder) for the JU 88. And I feel like it's a bit easy to break the tail of the A20 (only need a few .50cal shoots). I know there are no damage model for those yet. But it seems a bit easy to kill this one.

  11. You have to select channel A, B, C or D during the mission. If the mission creator take care of SRS, he set the correct value for those in the mission editor. If not, "SRS will not work". In fact it work but you will be alone on your channel.
  12. The tail light follow the rudder movement. But the emission point of the light itself don't. So light on the ground don't move and it reflect on the rudder surface when you turn it.
  13. Maybe didn't explain myself correctly. I'm talking about the "pixel forms" on the plexiglass. i turn up the cockpit light to show those :)

  15. Edit : I'm talking about pixels on plexis. The light in cockpit is from the cockpit light that I turned on to have a better screenshot of the pixels on the plexis.
  16. It can go both way. Look at how the P51 engine can die quickly. But as Damage model should be out soon, I imagine all the following plane will be made with it directly include.

  19. Yes it will be used as fighter. But it's far from invincible. The engine can be completely destroyed with one bullet. It will be difficult to fly against and difficult to fly it. As I used it in multiple campaign in the old Il2, I can assure you that only few time we came back with all the plane. We always had pilot who made mistake with their engine and pilot who get hit and burn directly. In those mission, we had to use the 262 in particular condition to follow briefing instruction. Those make it hard to fly. So that's why I think all mission type can be interresting. But on dogfight server, It will be easy to get a correct altitude and use our speed to never get caught by enemy. And that why people complain. So It's better to think about mission use and not dogfight server use.
  20. On dogfight server, I agree. It would be better to have some other planes than this one. But for mission I don't agree. As Me 262 was used in ground attack role (with bomb). It can become an accessible target for P51 and P47 pilots. With good tactics, I think it would make nice battle. As I don't like dogfight server and only fly mission, I'm happy to see it. :pilotfly: But I still think some other plane should come in game first.:music_whistling:
  21. I read that the Tempest (but I think that was common) can send a bigger spot on the radar by pressing a control. So radar could know if the plane was the friendly or not.

  24. Head on attack only. But try lateral attack and dive attack. You can damage/down them. but Gunner are too precises. It's the same for almost all AI (AAA and fighter). Thay can shoot with too much precision at great distances. If you read books of pilot from this period, you will find that wasn't the accuracy of gunner or flak that bring plane down. It was their number. Fighter pilot even said they had their gun set to spread a large area at a choosen distance to have more chance of hit. There was few pilot that were good at aerial shooting at this time. AI accuracy don't show this. In some other flight sim (please don't delete), you can set the hability of pilot with several parameters. You can choose that it is a good pilot or a bad one. You can choose if he have courage or if he is a coward. You can set his accuracy and lot of other things. Could be better if DCS allow more option in the setting of AI behavior than just a "medium" to "excellent" global level.

Boeing B-17 (really not a priority as a flyable but I would buy it day one too).
