To the devs/designers, Is it possible to provide measurements of the throttle quadrant in the harrier? I'm trying to get a custom throttle created for the harrier, but the company needs measurements and pictures. I figured the design team here would have those. If you can release them publicly, can it be sent straight to the company? http://throttletek.com -Shadow

I know that it has already been reported that the external fuel tanks do not refuel. I am not sure if anyone knows that you are not able to fuel them on the ground via the rearm/refuel option either. I was just testing and confirmed this. I was only able to get more fuel by completely removing the tanks, and reinstalling them again. Once I defueled the aircraft to its internal tanks, I could not get more fuel in the tanks while they were installed. Track File Hopefully this helps figure out the issue. -Shadow

Not in flight at least. I tried this morning. The normal fuel tanks will

A grand for a quality of a lot more than that. It's a very reasonably priced piece of gear. -Shadow -

He custom makes them. Sometimes u think he does batches when working on something and post about them like this. He'll probably get back to you I a few hours asking you to email him if you want something. If you want it I have his email floating around somewhere. -Shadow

Uh.... Nozzles, hovering, bombs, hoover. But seriously, I had a question on how the lift over gate for the nozzles will work. Assuming the nozzle control lever will be on an axis. Is it possible to set the gate with click spots or bottons, then not allow the lever to travel past the gate without pushing a button? So, you press button, in cockpit effect is the lever is lifted so you can move the lever no matter where the gate is. This would allow use of the stop as in real life. Pilots don't need to look down to move nozzles to stovl and it'll be in the correct position. Just me 2 cents. (PS, that's on top is, don't delete the thread, it's a good one) -Shadow

Not sure which sentence he's wrong on, haha. Because that leaves me with two completely different emotions. Hahaha -Shadow

Can customers customize the handles? And how much? (We've been emailing, sorry, have been busy at work) -Shadow

I agree. Like I said, there are some folks who don't keep up with the thread, but that's fine. There are a lot of threads, everyone ant keep up with them all. People are bound to repeat request. It happens. -Shadow

OR, and hear me out, or they can continue. First off, RAZBAM has been pretty good about interfacing with the community on this project. They ask to see things in a video on this thread, not long after RAZBAM delivers a video. The community pointed out the intake was misshapen, next set of screenshots it was corrected. Community asked about the greyscale, it was promptly addressed. So evidence suggest that RAZBAM appreciates the feedback. Second, yes the module is in alpha, which to me, means this is exactly the time to address anything that isn't correct. Instead of waiting until the relatively brief period after the module is released and it's on the front burner. Again, seems to be working to me. Third, if it bothers you that much, ignore the thread... Good work is being done here. Sure, some people aren't keeping up with the forum and ask repetitive questions, that's the nature of the Internet. Again, evidence suggest the thread here is working rather well. But that's just my 2 cents. Hell, I just like looking at the pictures. -Shadow

I'm very interested in this system. I've contacted them and Roberto got right back to me. Seems very interested in helping out. I think I recall seeing some of their commercial stuff a while ago. I would like to see a video of this TQS for a since of scale. That's about all I'm waiting on to buy one. -
First thing to realize is (as far as I can tell) the voice of DCS pilots is determined by their country. So changing Russia to the Blue coalition is not going to change their voice. I had suggested moving the USAF Aggressors to the Blue coalition, as far as I remember USAFA has all the airframes available in a stock install. It's been a while since I modded that. Anyway, follow these steps and you should be up and running in like 10 minutes. Start by downloading this tanker skin (Not required, but I like it for realism sake) (Download Here) Install the above skin in: ...\Bazar\Liveries\IL-78m\Air Support Systems LLC Open 'description.lua' and replace the relavant line with: countries = {"AUSAF","USA","CAN","FRA",} What this does is assigns the skin to USAF Aggressors, USA, Canada, and France. You can add whatever country that you would like, but you need to find the code for it yourself. I just go to a skin that has the country I want and copy it. This should solve your issue once and for all, if not, let me know and we can try and troubleshoot some more.

There was post a while back that they are having problems creating the images in greenscale. For the time being they are using grayscale, as a workaround. -Shadow

I do have an idea for you, but it's a bit more advanced. I need to get on the computer to give you the right steps. I'll get back to you later on what to do to solve this for sure. -Shadow

Quick question, I have an open dialog with thus site (http://throttletek.com/f-18-throttle/) about making a custom throttle for the Harrier. Is there anywhere with diagrams and mesurements that I can provide them with? They are willing to do custom work, they just need the blueprints. -Shadow
