  1. What he did was switch the visor for the nvg. I've changed my mind in so I forgot the correct key combo. But just search your controls for goggle. You'll find it Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3599572 They respond, just not as frequently as you like. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. I think we need a little more information to truly understand what's happening to you. Is the game crashing? What version are you using? What exactly are you doing when "it stops"? Are you using mods? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah but the problem is times don't solve the issue. If you take up a couple jets with empty fuel tanks to practice you can run the tanker dry Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Even in auto, you still want to dive bomb. A "level lay" is not preferred as it is less accurate. With guided munitions, yes it is perfectly acceptable. But you still want to dive bomb to give the seeker on the weapon a better chance at seeing the designator. (Think Maverick) Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. I think this was an issue with the amphibious ship mod if you're using that Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. I've been in single and multiplayer and haven't seen this in the newest version. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Probably this, yes. Sounds like pilot induced oscillation. Which happens when you over correct an issue, which leads to the same issue in the opposite direction, then you do it again and again and it's bad. I'd suggest a curve of some sort to allow for finer control of the aircraft. I use it for all mine and it works nice. Just be patient and let your corrections work. Trim the aircraft constantly as you show down into your hover so it is as stable as can be without correct. That will help you by keeping your stick close to center so you induce less error into the controls as well. Make sure you are light enough. And finally, try just an empty jet, 30% fuel, and take off in a hover and hold it. Practice just keeping altitude first. Then trying to stay over a line perpendicular to the aircraft and altitude. Then a true hover. Baby steps.
  9. I've seen that. That happens when in nav mode. Probably not. But I'd have to check. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. But he's not wrong. It's an older bug where single pods and bombs attached directly to the pylons are mounted on their centerline. Not the correct mounting points. And with rocket pods, the rockets themselves are in the right spot. But not the pod. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. In is first iteration,I absolutely agree with you. But the team has been hard at work making the shop much more presentable. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, I saw the new beacon option in the ME, wishful thinking it was already working in the jet. I have noticed the AWLS system isn't quiet flushed out yet. Namely CH18 is supposed to work and doesn't (nellis I think) and you cannot yet edit the information stored in there. Though I wonder if that is a dcs limitation that hasn't been worked out yet. Regardless, AWLS/ICLS to the new Tarawa is an exciting proposal. I only hope ED in the future gives the carriers the logic to turn into the wind and sail at the right speeds on command in the future. Okay. Enough rambling. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. Is it possible to use the ALWS on the Tarawa. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Currently the ghost velocity vector acts inaccurate. It should always stay level with the flight path marker. It's purpose is to show the lateral effects of wind on the aircraft. As it works now, the GVV is locked into the plane the aircraft rolls about. Which means as you roll, the GVV will displace vertically above or below the aircraft. See below. This allows you the ability to show a different attitude with the GVV than the flight path marker. The FPM should ALWAYS show the correct attitude. That is to say the roll and pitch of the aircraft's flight path is always shown with the FPM. The GVV only shows the lateral deviation. As you can see on the second picture, I have a vertical velocity of 0. But my FPM is set at 2.5 degrees above the horizon. As seen below, the GVV should roll with, but stay level to the FPM. 15. As others have said, you can't be flying. You've got to be kind of slow almost stationary to see the effects.
  16. Just for the sake of clarity, you are beneath a raining cloud, correct?
  17. I can confirm. I just tested at Senaki, RW 09. (Track file) I did notice, however, the needles are present. They just seem to only be visible for fractions of a second and disappear again. See track file for further.
  18. Anyone know of a mod to get the black and white massk back for the TPOD, DMT, and NAVFLIR? LamaKing has one just for the TPOD (here) but it shows true color on the DMT. I'm looking for like RAZBAM had the mask before so the HUD is still visible with the FLIR activated.
  19. Glad to hear it's coming soon. Thanks.
  20. And the short answer is when it works. The Devs aren't allowed to release timelines. So at BEST, you might get a 'I'll check on it' or an 'it'll be in the next update'. But there is a lengthy thread covering this topic. So I assumed you didn't know or care it was there. So I'm just letting you know you can use it as a tool still. The Harrier is still in early access, and will continue to be until it's released. I'm sure no one wants to keep reading "when will x be working?" Threads. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Seems to me like the auto line isn't ground stabilized. It seems to move like the mav image does with roll input. Dive bombing and careful placement of the flight path marker will do the trick in the mean time. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. Sounds like it's hot out miss on this one. I get the tracking radar sounds and the initial chirp. It works for me in the mean time. Between the HUD, the rwr screen and paying attention, it's just fine until it gets fixed. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. I also wouldn't support opening the door for pay to carry weapons. That's a slippery slope that has no good end in sight. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. Right now because of a bug, only around 8 miles. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. No, he says he starts, then adds waypoint. That won't work right now. You need to add a markpoint via the osbs on the bottom of the EHSD PRIOR to creating a waypoint or it won't work. It is a bug. It's been reported. But for now. That's how you make it work. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
