  1. I didn't even notice that it's text-to-speech :-o (but english is not my native language). BTW, just a short question because I'm slightly stuck at the camp with the explosives. What do I have to do when I chosed the explosives with the F6 menu? Do I have to hover over the red smoke to load it (if so... then my nightmare came true - I never managed to load the water in the Crazy Horse campaign).
  2. Just did a test flight. Really great work with the voice records and the whole atmoshpere. I like it so far. Keep on the good work.
  3. I'd also like to try the mission but the "Upuaut's cargo & objects" dropbox link is down as already mentioned in this thread. Is there another link to get this mod? Or is this the "updated" Cargo & Object mod which should do the trick? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=124251
  4. After a longer break I returned to DCS and the Huey and I was looking for new camapigns. Luckily I found Bay of Hogs :-) I only finished the first mission so far (took me some attempts) but I like the story driven design and the Tasks. All that unexpected stuff makes it very interesting. Thank you for your work. However, I'm not sure if it's my english or something else, but I don't quit get it what I have to do in mission 2 at the airfield. I think I should fly there with quick speed above 50m but I can't see an object which my crew should take out. Or do I have to land? I suppose not because of the 60 seconds. Anyway, I fly there but I ain't quite sure where to go exactly. So I of course get shot down after a while due to the massive fire. Since I also didn't find a video on YouTube, I'm pretty lost ;-) Hopefully somebody can give me a hint in how to complete mission 2.
  5. Danke für die Info. Da ich länger DCS Pause gemacht habe, kann ich gut warten ;-) Es wäre nur gerade ein "nice to have" gewesen.
  7. Thank you. It did not really help in my case, but I noticed that if I attack the rebels behind the barrel, then the convoi will attack the rebels in the house (and they've got 'em which triggered the next event).
  8. I ran into a problem with the Aurora mission on the Huey campaign. It seems like an even won't be triggered. When I contact the convoi on frequency 235, they start moving to the city. Then they stop and tell me to watch for the rebels. The convoi most of the time shoots the rebel behind the barrels, but there seem to be more rebels in a building left to it. And there's the problem. They don't leave the building and there's no way to shoot 'em. No matter what I do, the mission stays stuck there. In my very first attempt, it worked fine (but I was shot afterwards). But in my additional 5 or 6 attempts, I always run into this problem. Any ideas how to solve this problem?
  11. I'm glad I found this old thread. I went through exact the same troubles yesterday, flying to the north over the mountains, not finding the landing zone. So I was already wondering if I didn't understand how ADF is working ;-) However, it would still be helpful if somebody could post a picture of the location on the "F10-map". I don't want to fly another hour into the wrong direction. At least the heading 070 and the 43 nm seems very helpful. I'll give it a try. Edit: 077 did the trick ;-) Once you know this, you'll also be able to set the ADF correctly. Like John_C_Fleet mentioned, there are two ADF very close together.
  12. Thanks again. I'll study and try it this evening. Let's see if I'll survive longer now ;-) These are some good hints which are never told in all those tutorials on youtube...
  13. Thank you very much for clarification and for the hints :-) Staying outside the 10 miles doesn't seem easy all the time though when the bogies use radar jammer and when multiple planes are coming towards you. Well, still a lot of practice needed. My last "sim" before DCS was ATF which is a while ago and which was quite simplified (it for sure gave a warning signal when heatseakers were fired) ;-) At least I now know that I have to carefully watch the enemy fighter and that I should never let him to my six.
  14. I'm fairly new to DCS, but I already watched many video tutorials about the F-15C and I read through the manual. So I already knew the "basics" like start, landing, radar, navigating and firing. However, I most probably didn't completely understand the TEWS. Very often I'm suddenly "shot down" but I never saw a missile on the TEWS. The manual says there should be a "Flashing lower semi circle" and the picture shows an "M" in it. In fact I never know what hit me. Was it a guided missile and if so, why didn't it show up? Or was it an heatseaker (do they appear on the TEWS or not?). So if I don't know that somebody has been fired, how shall I do countermeasures? Sure, there are warning sounds, but some are only because you're locked on. I don't "hear" the differences so far. Unfortunately I also dind't find a good tutorial about this topic yet. Last but not least: When do I turn on/off the ECM? I always turn it on as soon as I have bogies on the radar. But why should I ever turn it off anyway? I hope somebody can give me some help on this. Otherwise I don't even have to bother starting a campaign
