Barometric Altitude showing negative in Syria Map
myHelljumper replied to honeycool75's topic in M-2000
How do you set the altimeter to electric ? -
You can use the POL mode, that's what it's for. IMO this change could be more realistic, only Elmo can tell us tho :).

If you want to be competitive in MP the mirage will not help you. Only 4 missiles, small radar, Fox1 only...

[ RESOLVED] FPS drop with RADAR ALTIMETER on.
myHelljumper replied to Sawydz's topic in Resolved Bugs
Hey guys, has anyone been able to reproduce this bug lately ? I've not seen it for some time so I was not able to make a track.... -
I edited the post and added a new track from the last update.

Hello, With the special option "TDC moves in polar coordinates" checked, the range indication left of the TDC is wrong when it is moved to the sides of the screen. We can see the difference using the TDC range and azimut indication to ownship on the bottom left for the VTB screen. Here is a track showing the issue : VTB_TDC_range_bug.trk

Hello, On the INS parameter display windows, in the L/G mode, when the decimal part of the coordinates goes to the next unit, sometimes the decimal displays 100 for a short time. For example: 42°39.99 -> 42°39.100 -> 42°40.00 -> 42°40.01 Here is a track where you can see the issue : INS_decimal_bug.trk

Hello, There is a small bug when you do a class 4, 3 or 2 alignment, the PRET indicator keeps blinking while it should turn off. Small track showing the issue INS_class4_bug.trk

Hello, Small bug with the DDM sensors, their presence on the aircraft is not synchronized for other aircrafts, this means that when the sensor in not mounted the player will see the normal pylon on his aircraft, but the DDM pylon on other aircrafts, in singleplayer and multiplayer. Here is a track showing the issue : DDM_Bug.trk

The cockpit flood lighting is too bright on the lowest setting, it makes flying at night a bit of a pain in the butt. See the screenshot with the 3 flood lights at the lowest setting.

[RESOLVED] Weapons: still able to have a mixed loadout
myHelljumper replied to ZHeN's topic in Resolved Bugs
The TWS bug should be in another thread. I think the bug is : "The aircraft allows the loading of mixed loadouts and some of them allow the use of two different weapons (excluding magics and cannon) while some of them are unusable" And the fix would be : "The loadout editor forbids the use of mixed loadouts (excluding magics and cannon)" or "The PCA shows an error message and forbids weapon employment when a mixed loadout is used (excluding magics and cannon)" -
Hello, On the HUD there is a bug that concerns all the heading symbology, the markers jumps when they are at exactly 0° from the nose of the aircraft. The waypoint heading reference (the "house"), the heading tape real aircraft heading (triangle) and the autopilot desired heading are affected my this bug. Also the IDN waypoint heading arrow bugs out at around 2nm from the waypoint. Here is an outdated track, will try to post a track on the current OB patch soon. HUD_IDN_Bug.trk Edit : New track, on it you can see the HUD problems and when I move away from the waypoint at around 4nm the IDN main needle points the other way for a short amount of time : VTH_IDN_bug.trk

Hello, Our M-2000C is missing the desired slope ("Pente Désirée", PD) symbology. The PD is setup on the PCN with the parameter selector in the CP/PD position and should enable the displaying of two horizontal dashes left and right of the FPM on the HUD that represent the desired slope angle. It should only be displayed in the APP HUD mode, and the value is liked to a waypoint, allowing to have different PD values on different waypoints. The symbology is illustrated on the Mirage 2000C "Manuel Pïlote" that is available on the internet but I don't think I can link it here. Edit: It can be see here for a few seconds at the bottom of the frame : Also, I already made a post about it in 2018 and it was moved to resolved bugs, it's not : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225798

Rework of the Mirage 2000 audio warning , RAZBAM read this please
myHelljumper replied to ThirtykayDEC's topic in M-2000
very interesting, I hope Razbam will update the sounds to match the real aircraft, with the ones provided or their owns... -
I think the FM guy at Razbam said it was correct, as the energy chevrons are generated by the INS, so they would use your true speed.
-
1. The aircraft has a unique capability called DO (désignation d'objectif), it's a manual radar track. It means that the pilot can input the position, speed, bearing and altitude of a contact reported by a GCI/AWACS and follow the contact from far away and radar off (hence the 160nm and 320nm range). It works as long as the contact does not change course or speed. It can be useful for bombers for example. 2. The training missions are a a bit old, the module have been updated a lot lately so that might have changed. 3. I only use the range switch to change the range on the radar and I didn't notice a problem going into 160/320nm, I will test it when I have the occasion.
-
I'm not so sure, according to Zeus that's how it's supposed to be. Quote from the m-2000c channel on the Razbam discord from the 23/04/2020 As I said, they are deviation indicators, not steering commands.
-
Oh I see where I was unclear. The previous system was not like the real one, the current system is like the real one according to the AdA. And you should not see the wings as steering/roll commands, they are deviation indicators, just like ILS needles or the course deviation thingy on an HSI :). That's how I understood it anyway.
-
What is it that your don't understand ?
-
You are right, they have been inverted, but RB said that was a bug and the AdA asked them to put the current system in place as it is more realistic You have to think of them as deviation indication, not turn indicator. That's how I understand them anyway ^^.

The bug is to be able to use anything when you have mixed weapons on your plane :). -
[ RESOLVED] FPS drop with RADAR ALTIMETER on.
myHelljumper replied to Sawydz's topic in Resolved Bugs
I made a discovery regarding this bug, when your FPS drop, you can disable your radar (AA radar in A position) and the FPS will be back up again. When it's in the EM or SIL position is tanks the FPS. The bug only shows when both the radar and the radar altimeter are ON.
