  1. NWS is to be on as soon as you start taxiing and to be switched off when you shutdown the aircraft. The NWS have a dynamic range that adapt to you current speed up to 40kts where it disengage automatically so you can't use it at high speed. you are free to disable it but it's not standard procedure.
  2. Do you have any source showing that you can have DAGR rockets or a second 20mm canon on a gazelle? It's a light attack helicopter, IRL the loadouts are as in the sim.
  3. In fact I find the behavior coherent, you hit the tank with your right skid and that destroys it. Now that the object is destroyed it does not have a collision model anymore so the gaz can go right trough it. You might want to test it with a Huey or else but I don't see how the gazelle should have broke in this case :).
  4. Yes, I see it too. The behavior might be realistic when in PID lock as the radar does not have continuous information, but in PIC the closure rate should be accurate.
  5. When closure rate is positive it means that you are closing, AFAIK it work as intended :)
  6. We would need a track to see what you are doing, but IFF is 100% reliable. Be aware that when in PIC there will be no diamond in the V, but the there will be double bars on the side of the contact.
  7. I was not going against the work of Chuck or anyone by saying that. I as saying that one have to be careful when using documents not published by the company. Sorry if this has caused offence to anyone.
  8. And that is why I only use official documentation :smartass: The switch function was incorrect when the aircraft came out, and corrected after.
  9. There are no separate switches, only one switch with 3 position : OFF - Refuel day - Refuel night (brings on the refuel lights).
  10. What are you thinking about ?
  11. I think he said the stick would't move when you trim the aircraft.
  12. I think I made it work in 2.5. And there is not time limit(other than missile life time), the have to have the target in its FOV to re-acquire it.
  13. No one at RAZBAM said they won't include it.
  14. You said nowhere that you read the manual...
  15. Challenge accepted ! :D
  16. Thanks for the heads up
  17. You don't reset the trim before landing.... why would you ? You land, when the nose gear touch the ground you have the decol alarm, you then just double tap the auto pilot stand-by button (ALT-A on keyboard as you say ). You should map this command on you stick, you are supposed to use it all the time when flying.
  18. Massive FM update like 2 month ago, more planed for the next updates, not abandoned.
  19. You already can shorten it to 4 minutes, and that's realistic.
  20. You can double tap the AP standby to reset the trim too ;).
  21. Pitch rate means that the stick command a specific pitch rate. 0 stick input = 0 pitch rate positive stick input = positive pitch rate negative stick input = negative pitch rate. There is no trim in the above, the FBW keeps the aircraft at the commanded pitch rate. If the aircraft was auto-trim, the nose would't have been climbing with the aircraft at a positive attitude when above 300kts, that's the point of auto-trim. I think you are mistaking auto-trim with FBW control laws.
  22. AP disconnect turns the Autopilot off. AP standby allow you to maneuver the plane with your stick while pressed and once released will reengage the autopilot in the mods you were previously.
  23. The M200C NEVER had auto trim.... The stick commanded pitch rate below 300kts and G load above 300kts. Please, get your facts strait before trying to correct the FM.
