  1. You can see the top one spinning in this video. I am also almost completely certain that there's a video with a very zoomed in shot of it working, just can't seem to find it right now.
  2. Here are some of my liveries I've made for the F-5E. Hope some of you find them useful. :joystick: Black Dash Swedish Airforce Draken
  3. Oh yeah, now that does make sense, completely forgot about that. So would this one also be inert then? Or does that meen something completely different?
  4. No worries. They aren't very wide actually, they are only 0.63m wide (1m with the wings). There seems to be two different versions of the Bk90, a white one and a green one. Not sure if there is any difference between them other than the color. A guess is that the green one was used on the Viggen, while the white one was used on Gripen. Just to match the color of the aircraft, but that might be wrong.
  5. Those are 100% BK90s. They do looks similar to the bomb racks, but The BK90 have a ridge going down top of it. The Bk90 also have a more rounded nose than the bomb racks. Here's a model I made of it.
  6. That image is comes straight from the real manual for the aircraft, so I doubt it's wrong.
  7. With the gear up it keeps a speed of 550km/h, and with the gear down it has 2 modes. In both it tries to keep a selected alpha, either 12° or 15,5°.
  8. Nice find there. Guess I didn't look to deeply into the ADI when I read the manual. Anyway, always nice to learn something new, and I do like having a VSI when flying.
  9. Based on the many time I've read the manuals, the Viggen does not have a VSI in any way. The scale on the left side on the ADI is probably the glide slope scale for the (T)ILS. They probably didn't include it since they had the new fancy HUD, and they decided that it wasn't necessary to add. Just my guess.
  10. Awesome, thank you very much. Skickat från min Nexus 5 via Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, that's probably true that the perforations add a lot of induced drag, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they were added to help with the nose down tendencies. I'll try and find some answers on the matter. But it may very well be me just making stuff up in my head from all the reading on the aircraft. I do know for sure that not all Viggens had the perforated air brakes though. Probably the prototypes or the ones built early in the production. For example one that doesn't have them is 37800, which i think is one of the later prototypes since it's a SK37.
  12. That would be one of the four air brakes. If I remember correctly, the holes are there to help reducing the nose down movement of the aircraft at high speeds with them deployed. Fun fact: The air brakes will automaticly retract at M= 0.92 because of the powerful nose down tendencies at transonic speeds.
  13. Thanks, that got it working, but for some reason as soon as I add {"uh1_cov", 0, "uh1_swe_cover.bmp" ,false}; it just stops working again. It works fine without changing that line, but then I have a missing texture pattern on that part. One other thing I just spotted is that it looks like the tail rotor is missing it's specular texture. Thanks for all the help so far. //MYSE1234
  14. I made the changes you mentioned, but sadly, still no luck. Still looks like it did before. I made sure the textures are in DTX5, so that's not the problem. Not that I thought that was the problem since it worked on some parts.
  15. So I decided to make my very first livery, but I cant seem to make it work correctly. The new textures only show up in certain areas. As you can see only the anti torque rotor and the antenna above the cockpit is showing the new livery. If I understand how the description.lua works it should work right now, but it obviously doesn't, so I must have messed up somewhere. The new textures are: The description.lua Any help would be very much appreciated. //MYSE1234
  16. They have updated the clouds since the 1.5 update first released. It's from what I can see mostly a performance update, not so much a visual one.
  17. The T stands for "tung", heavy in swedish. It's basically the same missle as the A but with a larger warhead. The weight difference is 85kg. The regular RB 75 is 210kg while the T model is 295kg.
  18. I think it's AJS37. That's what it says in the manuals at least.
  19. Great looking model and textures LN! However... It's abit hard to see, but to me it looks like the flaps are completely in line with the canards which the shouldn't be. They should be angeled up 4 or 7 degrees relative to the canards, depending on the weight of the aircraft. This is to help with the pitching moment of the aircraft at high speeds. It also looks like this beauty is missing a pair of formation lights just behind the canards. Yes i know its a JA, but it's the same on all variants.
  20. Just found this (and other similar ones) in the manual. It's an image of a radar contact from a transport aircraft. The aircraft is about as large as a C-130, judging from the other images before this one. The range on the display is 30km, and the target is just under 20km away and about 25° to the right. Since it's not an actual picture of a real display, it might or might not look like this at all. If it does that would be great, as you might actualy be able to use it to find other aircraft somewhat effectivly. At least large ones.
  21. Funny you would say that. I used those as reference.
  22. After I made the model of the MJ2 for the BK90, I thought. "Hey, why not make the whole thing and the other submunition." And well, things snowballed from there, and now I have this on my PC. Hope you find it good/ helpfull. I hope to get to try using it soon. :joystick: Disclaimer: Leatherneck Simulations have nothing to with this, it's my own little project.
  23. This should answer your question.
  24. Yeah, seams like it's only visual, can't find anything about there being any sort of audio warning.
  25. They actually do have a warning system. The lamp left of the radar screen starts to flash at 5Hz 7s before the calculated impact time. The hud also starts flashing, in most modes. There's a whole segment dedicated to it in "SFI AJS37 del 1" on "flik 23". Image from the manual.
