Radio - Base selector goes only to 20, while Beslan is on 21
MYSE1234 replied to viper2097's topic in Bugs and Problems
The left dial has a total of 42 positions, and the right one has 84. Each position on the left dial has a total of 10 preprogrammed channels, selectable by the buttons numbered "0-9" on the bottom rows on the radio control panel. The right dial has 5 preprogrammed channels per position, selectable by the 2nd row of buttons from the top. Viggens FR22 has a total of 840 preprogrammed channels + the 4 from the FR24. So selecting base 21, in this case Beslan should definitely be possible. https://www.aef.se/Avionik/Notiser/Fr22-Fr24_Notis.htm -
Well would you look at that. It's actualy sort of working. There is a keybind for it, which does indeed change the air pressure "calibration". However it does not exchange the numbers in the window to the "STD" text, so there's no way telling what's currently used.

Here are two features that I would like to see added: CI symbology when in A0, currently it's just black, not displaying anything. It works when you enable "passiv spaning". 2 The HUD in NAV will give turn commands in such a way that if you follow the stearing cue you will come out of the turn in a smooth way, heading directly towards the waypoint. Currently if you have a good turn going, the cue will just go flashing by all of a sudden, making it very easy to fly past it. Unless you keep an eye on when it's going to pass.

The red button on the joystick is the AP disconnect. Which currently isn't mappable...

At that range and altitude they will dispence just as normal though my testing. The BK90s will come to their usual height just before overflying the target or thereabouts. Works great. And as long as there's no wind, they can dispence from any altitude, the submunitions will of couse spread out more than usual however, and it will take quite some time for them to land.

Launching BK90s from 25km away, at 4000m works great.

The external tank is empty somewhere between 103-104%.

The RM8(A) produces 115,6 kN of thrust, the one we have on our Viggen. The RM8B however does produce 125kN of thrust, and is used in the JA37. Sorry :smartass:

I saw that aswell when i flew on Blueflag PG yesterday. Waypoints being nowhere close to where you place them on the F10 map.

The altimeter, more accurately the adjustment knob on it is missing a feature. Nothing major but a nice thing to have sometimes. When you pull on the knob (:smilewink:) it changes to standard air pressure, 1013,2 hPa, instead of the manualy selected one. A "shield" also covers the air pressure indicator so that you cant see the numbers. Instead it says "STD". The small arrow and the 0,5hPa lines on the right most roller is also missing. Another bonus thing is the fast errect (:helpsmilie:) button is located in the wrong place. As it currently is, it's not even on a button. It's #8 on the image below.

It takes about 1,5 seconds for the flaps to fully close/ open. So unless you compress the nose gear it's not going to be fully closed before it starts to open again.

Maybe a bug: the seat is offset to the left of the centerline
MYSE1234 replied to bkthunder's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I've made a similar post before, not much of a response though. Link to my post. -
I have the new white 75's. I'm using a custom livery so it might be because of that, not sure.

The seat is not centered in the cockpit is this how it actually is or did someone do an opsie? Also the seat seems to be ~70mm to high, and slightly diffenent to the real one. The side panels aren't center either, but slightly ofset to one side. The real seat is the cyan colored one and the ingame is of course the other one. My scan doesn't look the greatest as the lighting in the museum was less than ideal, aswell as the fact that it's shiny metal. The long lines is the "distance" between two sides of the object. The shorter lines are the large ones halved and then aligned to the center line. Also, please don't get angry for "copying" you model Heatblur. It's only for my pit build.

Not being able to make small corrections in the different AB stages. Being able to shoot almost all weapons while on the ground. Illumination bomb pattern is wrong. Super minor things :music_whistling:: Wrong color of right side of the left annunciation panel. Also mission OILTEMP warning (might be becasuse it's not modeled). Jammer panel 3d model is slightly wrong. The connector of the Datastav37 has the wrong shape. Most panels also doesn't look correct where there are buttons. Other things...

The radar stick axis are not analogue, is this accurate? The maverick slewing is as expected analouge, while the radar behaves more like a button (on/off). The wierd thing is that they both use the same stick, but work in totaly different ways. I've tried changing the curves for the axis but nothing really changes, other than that it starts slewing a bit later.

I'm unsure about the need to set the WP as target, but this should hopefully answer some questions. Spelling/ grammar might be a bit rough.

Sorry but this is a video made by myself, as a fun little project before the Viggen got released. I appreciate the fact that you thought it was real though.

Added AV-8B N/A to the mod. See first post. -
I know it's not an answer to your question, but, that screenshot looks fine to me. As a reference, the wheels for example are round and not squished, from what i can see. Skickat från min Nexus 5 via Tapatalk

Since the last update for 2.1, I've had this problem where every 20 seconds the game freezes, and I get the message in the top right corner. "TrackIR unplugged". "TrackIR plugged". I've tried to reinstall Opentrack, and repair DCS, but with no luck. I've also tried disabeling USB power management, but with no luck. I tried unplugging every USB device, only HDMI and the ethernet cable where still plugged in, but to no avail. The lag spikes were much smaller and not as frequent, but still there. I've never had this problem before, and it makes the game unplayable. I'm using Opentrack, Win10, DCS 2.1 and 1.5. Any help would be much appreciated. I want to fly again.: pilotfly: *4790k @ 4.6 GHz *32GB Ram *Overclocked GTX 970 *DCS installed on SSD *Win10 *Opentrack - Trackhat version
