actually using X 52 pro, if i trim, the stick centeres back, but as i said before, it works on ground.

The whole skin is very shiny now, even tires are reflecting sun.

For me, trimmer only works on ground, or just after a hard landing it works again.

Hello, yes, at first you fired a bottle, leave the left switch in the lower position if you are performing a test. The upper position means the system is ready and you turn the knob, it energizes the squib - an ignitor- which breaks a diaphragm and the fire ext. agent can leave the bottle. There are two cartridges for each bottle (if one does not work, there is a second chance) or a second bottle in the sytem, thats why you have two positions for the right switch (pos 1 & 2 ). The agent contains halon or bromide or such stuff and you can really die if you breath this. So keep in mind, if you are performing the test, left switch down. It's dangerous and you have to leave the area and a lot of work after in real.

I remember my times sitting in Mi 8 cockpits, fans on, reading documentations, switching every switch and watching the result. But mostly we where on external power, thats true... Long time ago - 1990`s - the young mechanic in apprenticeship.

Dear all, I have a general question about power supply of the new implemented cabin fans. Are they are now using A/C power instead of 27 V D/C ? I can't switch them on with accumulator on only. My fan at home - it´s an old DV 302 T - runs even on 12 V D/C, but a bit slower. Is there some new equipment since the older Mi 8 versions ? btw. i like the fan sound - rubber blades yeah ! carry on...

I have the same problem, it won`t start, tried something out during the last hours, at least i deactivated my avast and it runs fine. With avast running, no way... Problem started with the last update.

Hi, if you mean the lights on L/G legs, these are downlock indicators - landing gear down and locked - lights come on.To switch the lights off, raise the gear...easy !

single bombing Hi folks, you can see it clearly, one bomb on pylon 2 (R/H inner), other side on pylon 3 (L/H outer). The other "pylons" are flap actuator covers. Single bombing is normally not allowed, because of the uneven heavy load. They have to drop in pairs - says the flight manual.
