  1. Here are 3 different skins for the Su-33 in form of fictional Chinese J-15 paint schemes. These are mostly made up but still slightly based on real aircraft. J-15 Shenyang - Flanker-X2 - Chinese Air Force I use Deka Ironworks textures for engine parts, text/stencils and the chinese pilot. Included are RoughMet files, optimized for the Shenyang liveries, based on watermanpc's work. Here are some screenshots of the new variants. They come in White, Dark and Blue paint schemes.
  2. You know, when DCS starts to simulate multicrew cockpits, deck crew and pilots walking over the flight deck, even carrier ready rooms it's not a bad idea to have accurate models.
  3. The effect is almost 5 years old? I would also like to see exhaust effect updates for missiles like the AMRAAM, HARM, the AGM-65 too.

  6. Yes, everyone will see this if they updated to the latest 2.5.6 update. Thats because even the official liveries have not been updated yet. The following skins are internally fixed and will be updated soon. VX-31 CoNA VMFA-314 VMFA-312 all 3x VMFAT-101 VMFA-251 high visibility both VFA-106 all NSAWC and NAWDC I can't speak for the other liveries.
  7. With the latest 2.5.6 update. Some skins use the white gray helmet which is the new standard texture file for the helmet. Other skins have custom helmet textures which have simply not been updated yet to fit the new texture template. You need to go to: CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Textures\FA-18C and search for the pilot_f18_helmet.dds texture and adjust your old textures to the new texture layout.
  8. The final update is now uploaded. It includes the "Standard RoughMet" version without the Air Superiority paint scheme highlights. Only 1 version can be installed at a time. Either choose between the 2 versions or copy/paste the RoughMet textures of 1 version into your desired skin folder and edit the description.lua. The matt nose cone has been added to the Standard textures.
  9. The helmet texture template/layout has been changed, you need to adjust your textures to the new template.
  10. I uploaded a new update that includes changes to the metallic engine plates, the whole airframe and the cockpit (primarily the windshield dashboard). I plan another RoughMet version without the Air Superiority paint scheme, so that the textures can be flown with aircraft that are not painted with Air Superiority paint schemes.     The helmet textures were reverted back to the new original textures for all 3 skins. Also a couple images of the CAG version.
  12. The helmet textures for both skins were reverted back to the new original textures. Names were also changed to VMFAT-101 Aggressor Splinter New and Old.

  18. It very likely is due to the behavior of AI flight models since it occurs with every AI unit.

  20. This mod only modifies the textures of the cockpit, while also adding new textures to it. Users have no access to models, much of the coding and such.
