  1. Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F-16C\Textures\F16C_bl50.zip It is still the old HGU-55 texture layout. The Hornet uses a new/updated texture.
  2. Doing the new A-10C II now, so that ED realizes that we really appreciate such updates/upgrades and would like to see more modules receive similar attention.
  3. I had few images that show the bottom of the wings clearly, without the pylons blocking visibility. The bottom of the wings are fairly clean on these photos compared to the rest of the airframe. So I'm assuming they are overall very clean.

    F-16XL Paint Scheme

Thanks! Updated today to include a few fixes and improvements. Originally I planned to include new engine textures. Cockpit textures from watermanpc and landing gear textures from PorcoRosso86. However the size of the file got too big so I had to scrap that for both skins. Maybe later I will upload both versions separately to include these textures.
  5. Extract the 480th_Fighter_Squadron_SP_Weathered.zip. Then you can copy and paste the 480th_Fighter_Squadron SP Weathered file into: Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-16C\Liveries\F-16C_50 or Saved Games\DCS World\Liveries\F-16C
  6. I'll put it on my list, once I start working on it I will share it here. :) Thanks
  7. That is a problem with the bort number system itself, I believe. The bort numbers on the nose and the refueling door use the same texture or the same line to call it, except for the first digit of the 4 numbers on the nose. So having gray numbers on the refueling door will get you 1 blue number and 3 gray numbers on the nose. Similar problem with the RoughMets for the nose, as the numbers overlap two textures. Then you can't get RoughMets for dynamic numbers, etc. etc... Could be that I'm going duum dumm and missed something or the bort number system for the F-16 is really sketchy. So I went for the numbers on the refueling door, so far until I see a fix or someone enlightens me.
  8. Skin is now available. Download Please tell me what you think. Any room for improvements, bugs, is it too much, too little?
  9. Thanks! Already on the way, any time now. :)
  10. Thank you everyone! Glad you like it. I hope to get it uploaded this weekend. Here are some final screenshots, with new engine exhaust textures and new fuel tanks.
  11. In case you are looking for the standard fixed skins take a look here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C8T3S4Iamuo6MxNBXqBS_bh6DL_HLXSm?usp=sharing These are all the base skins of the game that are affected and fixed in this file above. To my knowledge this was never fixed.
  12. Many thanks! The skin will be uploaded as soon as I finish the engine, cockpit and normal/bump textures. I'm sure it will be this week.
  13. Clean and weathered F-16C Block 50 from the 480th Fighter Squadron stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany. Tail Code SP. Download the weathered version. Download the clean version.
  14. The skin has been updated today to fit onto the new A-10C II Tank Killer module. Next to the old A-10C skin, a new separate skin has been added for the A-10C II. So you will download both now. Minor improvements are made for both versions. I'm planning to "revamp" the RoughMet textures to greatly enhance detail over the current standard textures.
  15. Thanks! I did reach out to ED a long while ago. Apparently, the colors were not correct, too bright or too dark. I haven't changed the colors since nor did I tried it again.
  16. Files have been updated today. Update includes a minor fix for the missing landing gear texture of the light weathered version.
  17. It's probably going to work for 95%. A few parts are removed or added but to me it looks like, most will stay the same. So just a copy paste thing and adjust.
  18. If they found a reliable source to back up the technical possibility of loading and employing HARM's on stations 4 & 6 for the exact F-16C simulated in DCS World then nothing points against it's implementation. There are many different opinions in this community on what can be considered a reliable, trustworthy, reasonable or believable source. It's up to ED to decide how valuable their sources are.
  19. No, skins don't fail your integrity check. Though other players won't see the exact same skin as you would do now with the fix. In this case it's minor as only the pilots textures are affected.
  20. Hello, the fix with the correct textures are already handed to ED. The time to implement them is just very minor so please have some patience there. For the time being, you can download all the above mentioned skins with the correct textures from here. Except Blue Angels livery! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C8T3S4Iamuo6MxNBXqBS_bh6DL_HLXSm?usp=sharing Simply go to: DCS World/CoreMods/aircraft/FA-18C/Liveries/FA-18C_hornet delete the old above mentioned skin files and then copy and paste all the new skin folders in there. You will have to do this workaround each update as the skins are being reset to standard until the proper textures are implemented.

    F-16XL Paint Scheme

Skin file is now uploaded, download from the User Files. Both skins are included, XL Unmarked & XL Fighter Squadron. First post updated.
  22. I think you mixed something up there. So there is no way to color these numbers differently. Perhaps it is planned to change that and give the front numbers a separate texture or their own line of code? Or tell me the reason to have the first digit colored, the rest 3 not.

I choose XL since it's the designation of the airframe represented. Nothing to do with Laughlin AFB, just a coincidence then that it matches up with an actual tailcode.
