  1. I also continued to work on the Raptor, specifically it's textures and in the past months I took the challenge to create a weathered Raptor. I focused on replicating a worn out RAM coating, replaced parts, leaks, gas residues, etc. while also adding more little details or previously missing parts all over the aircraft. I'm showcasing them here in this thread as well since these new textures are going to be part of Nightstorms Enhancement Mod for the GrinnelliDesigns Raptor. Below is a collection of screenshots with the current state of these textures in various lightning conditions. They are not yet completed so some areas or parts are still being worked on (WIP). Alternatively you can view a whole album of 60 images on imgur. https://imgur.com/gallery/RgN1Ivd
  2. Many thanks, Rough! The skin is now uploaded to the User Files, please enjoy! Download First post is updated.
  3. Work resumed on the Edwards Viper. I can call it completely done now. I will do a few more checks here and there and then upload it to the User Files. I added a lot more weathering and details from my previous Viper liveries. The aircraft remains the same, the skin is still aimed to replicate the most recent Block 50 91-0383 paint scheme.
  4. This screenshot is originally from the 1st October newsletter. As you can see it shows a new WIP missile flame exhaust of the AIM-9X going off the rail and you can see the little diamonds in there. I like such little details to the visuals so it's nice to see that change.
  5. The Big 22 is released now! Download Feel free to let me know, what you think and if there are any errors or problems. Thanks!
  6. I'm close to finish The Big 22. I added plenty of details all around with normal textures and the gold/orange tinted canopy glass. Click on the "Reveal hidden contents" tab to open up the preview images of all the details.
  7. @extender72 Many thanks! I didn't thought there would be such debates about certain parts of the aircraft because they are colored differently. That's interesting because when I look at other aircraft, with special anniversary paint schemes, they get their control surfaces replaced with unpainted, factory new or gray colored parts which won't fit to the original paint scheme at all. But that's cool to know, I support the Lt. Col. interest in paint schemes but even to me that change seems unnecessary. I do like the canopy frame without the black sealant as well. It looks more clean and polished in a way. I have done some more work on 339 and finished every texture except the wings. I also still need to change the canopy material. So far, I couldn't find images showing the sides well lit. I believe there are no squadron and fighter wing emblem markings on the side of the air intakes since it's an older paint scheme, right? I added more detail like holes and rivets to the AOA, ADP and pitot tubes. The nose cone got some more detail with weathering and reworked lightning stripes. And many other small things all over the aircraft. Adding details takes a bit of time since I want to include these for all aircraft so I make sure it's all perfect. Some screens. For fun purposes I photoshopped the IFF antennas out.
  8. @Twist28712 Small detail, but 339 doesn't have the black sealant or transparency on the canopy mounted, even still today, while pretty much all other F-16C's have it. I'm curious for what exact reason? I made some progress on 91-0339, The Big 22. Its tail art is pretty much finished on both sides.
  9. Thank you! I'm planning to do a Have Glass scheme as well, yes. The more interest there is in such skins the more sooner you'll see these from me.
  10. Many thanks! Also very interesting! I definitely want to do older Spangdahlem liveries from the Stingers and Fighting Hawks squadrons as well. I will place the 91-0339 on my list. A quick search shows me 90-0829 shares the very same tail art. If you have more images to share feel free to do so if you'd like!
  11. Syria is currently the best map in DCS World, by a huge amount. The new technologies used to create such a detailed terrrain really show. The mountains now get actual rock formations with great texture detail. While I'm not much of a fan of another mostly desert environment, the Syria map is still my favorite of all! Great work Ugra Media!
  12. I'm not too far into the modding side of DCS, but I haven't seen anyone asking to lock all these lua files directly either. It was popular demand in the sense to stop users from abuse and cheating in Multiplayer. But this can't be a permanent solution to this problem. It's not a solution the vast majority of the community wanted to see implemented like that. Since single players need to be respected as well which don't take any benefit from this at all.
  13. We could guess, as to why the files were removed, and keep asking to restore all of the files from the Database folder until we got them all back. Or we wouldn't have to ask for each .lua to be restored, if we could simply get an answer or explanation as to why they aren't available anymore.
  14. @BIGNEWY Can you tell us why tracks are of any use even for such a lightning issue? Is it to verify that users don't use any shader mods, or modified textures, etc.? Track file attached. F-18 model issue.trk
  15. There was a lot more stuff in the Scripts/Database folder to which we have no access anymore for some reason.
  16. Didn't we cover this on the first page? I haven't noticed that this problem is resolved by ED. If it is I will update my skins of course.
