Chromecat means nothing, I am sure they have several development branches and there is already a texture.
But it makes more sense to use a rather basic version (the chromecat branch) for development, no reason to load all the textures and visual stuff which consumes time and resources (and maybe introduces bugs) when there is no need for.
Also last statement (iirc) was 2018. So no reason to think about 2019 yet :)
Hope they are evaluating dedicated server for linux too, would love to host one on my server.
Should be much more portable now with the graphics/audio stack out of the way...
Not much hope but I am crossing my fingers anyway :)
What happend to the small update preview announcements?
Iirc there was a little time when there was an announcement pinned in the forums where the next (possible) changes where listed (thread was by NineLine I think?).
One time I was under the impression that I am detecting targets when I accelerate :music_whistling:
But to stay on topic... I hope to see rain drops on the warthog canopy soon :)
Yes but it seems the little time window got smaller.
Before last patch I did not get the warning when I short press the paddle. Now I get it (nearly? dont remember) always.
I guess they are busy doing other stuff.
This kind of bug collecting is bad anyway, there are much better platforms to keep track so that both, the mods (+devs) AND the community can stay informed... but whatever, thats offtopic :)
Uhm... I can only see if friend or foe when I have a contact locked in STT...
Is there any other way yet to IFF than locking and watching the shape in the HUD?
I assume you mean the WPN (or something like that) knob on the left panel?
Its max for me but I also cant hear the growl... I hear a tone when something is locked but nothing otherwise. Maybe this is intended?
I guess that just means that the situation where the cable gets arrested is now synchronized over the network so that all clients now see it at the same time.
Do you think its getting better with AMRAAMs and no IFF? :D
Iirc is IFF one of the highest priority at the moment so a timeline for that is... soon I guess.
I am sure we will hear about more fancy stuff once those "critical" missing features are here.
