Agreed, the RTX 3XXX is only usefeull with DLSS, on MSFS which i fly 50% of the time has DLSS and you can double your FPS without almost graphic quality loss. If DCS had DLSS, it would still be worth it but as or now it's not

Hello Guys, I fly mainly on DCS and MSFS and i have currently : 10600K (non OC) GTX 1080Ti Evga watercooled 32 Gb RAM DDR4 1440P I'm looking to upgrade my GPU but have 500e max budget: So i'm considering the RTX 3060 / 3060Ti however i'm confused about performance gain: Indeed, on DCS with medium/ high setting, Low trees visibility, I'm already at Max VRAM, ie 11Gb of VRAM and FPS is 30-45 on a server like Tempest with a lot of scripts with 50+ players. The 3060 has 12gb of VRAM so it 'wont be worst than my current 1080Ti but is has less performance then the 1080Ti ? 3060Ti has 8Gb of RAM so i'll be severly VRAM limited ans althught it's superior to the 1080Ti in term of GPU power, will I have less performance than my current GPU because i'll be VRAM limited ? So far for my budget, it seems that the RTX series is only usefeul for the DLSS feature that can double or even triple your FPS like its the case for MSFS 2020 but afaik it's not available with DCS currently ? thats weird, i thought as its a FBW aircraft, it would be a constant force. should we put a curve in our sensitivity pitch axis to try simulate that ? If i understand correclty, the more G (more deflection) you want, more force will be required to move the stick ? In the A320 that is full FBW, the stick require the same amount of force to deflect

40kg is 400N thats a lot of force required. whats the constant force applied on the stick in normal conditions ? 5-10 Kg ?

I noticed something weird: When i add thrust, the nose pitched down and when i reduce thrust, the nose pitched up, but thats wrong? that's only the case when the engines are above the CoG like a CRJ 1000 or Challenger 650 for example but its not the case of the F1, when adding thrust it should pitche Up and Vice versa Anyone noticed that as well ? FYI: i flew the F1 as a recon plane on tempest server so no ordonnace, no cannon ammo and about 80% of fuel

i haven't seen in the comms section of the manual how to set up SRS. i only fly on tempest server and by default, the frequency on UHF (251) is already correct and communication between helicopter is correct as well : 30.000. but i don't know how to set SRS so TR, i can only Receive voice. I only manage on how to set the ICS between the CPG and Pilot

Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to use Miles points when purchasing the Apache ? because i don't see any option to use my ED points for reduction. My last purchase was the Be the Maverick pack at 90.98 usd and I was able to use my ED miles point for 5.99usd so i payed 84.99usd. Shouldn't I have some miles points for the 84.99usd purchase ? thanks

Hello, I've started DCS 3 months ago and new to military aircraft ( Flown on Xplane , FSX, P3D, MSFS for the last 10 years). However i've never flown a helicopter and as i mainly fly on tempest server, i'd like to do some A/G and that's why i'm interested in the Apache but I fear that it might be overwhelming for a newbie espcially rearding thr avionics and also flying as it's quirte diffèrent to flying a fixed wing aircraft. Besides i currently have the Thrustmaster warthog quadrant and Rhino X56 stick, is that okay to fly the AH64 ? Is there some guide/ tutorial ? It seems that there is currently no Chuck Guide for the AH64 thanks PS: Is there a fictional skin based on the French "Tigre Helicopter" ?
