Hello, I've started DCS 3 months ago and new to military aircraft ( Flown on Xplane , FSX, P3D, MSFS for the last 10 years). However i've never flown a helicopter and as i mainly fly on tempest server, i'd like to do some A/G and that's why i'm interested in the Apache but I fear that it might be overwhelming for a newbie espcially rearding thr avionics and also flying as it's quirte diffèrent to flying a fixed wing aircraft. Besides i currently have the Thrustmaster warthog quadrant and Rhino X56 stick, is that okay to fly the AH64 ? Is there some guide/ tutorial ? It seems that there is currently no Chuck Guide for the AH64 thanks PS: Is there a fictional skin based on the French "Tigre Helicopter" ?

Hello. when stt locking a target, the NCTR display Mig 24 but It was actually Mi 24. Anyone noticed the same ?

Jeeez, i've done all wrong then. but still don't completely understand. I use the Eclair POD but then adjust flare/ chaff with the slider to get something like 88/180. So what did the rearming guy set for my chaff and flare

basically a delta wing fighter jet wouldn't be able to last long against a 2 circle aircraft like the Viper because of the enormous drag of the delta wings, some says that since the Engine buff of the mirage, you can do like 10+ circles. GS did a F16 vs mirage 3/4 months ago so before the update and the mirage was clearly struggling to say the least. However i don't now since the new engine update

i mean if you have some aerodynamic knowledge, it’s impossible pour a delta wind aircraft to be successful in a 2 circle because the wing is a huge aerobrake

Hello, After discussing with some player on the tempest server. I was told that since the new engine modelisation early august, the mirage can know hold up against a Viper in a 2 circles fight which should be in reality is impossible as the F16 should overrate the Mirage anytime. However, i was also told that F16 FM is solid accurate and so is the Mirage so how come the mirage holds up in a 2 circle fight? Also how use the mirage in a 2 circle fight? i was told to pull hard until you reach 420 IAS and then relax the stick in order to maintain 420 ? What's your opinion ? thanks

well im a bit confuse, what the point of having only a radar to receive wave ? to track a jamming aircraft ? because its still the airbone radazr that guides the S530D ?

Good to know thanks ? The mirage is a bit different, should you brake the lock, the S530D can require the target if you manage to reacquire the target even automatically with the ILLU feature or buy unlocking and relocking the target I think

So a radar from a aircraft is more sensible to chaffs compared to a less pwerfull radar of a fox 3 missiles ? Is Chaffing while being cold useless ?

Hello guys, I've now been flying the mirage a lot since last weekend with the release of FOX1 CW server: Tempest where now the mirage can shine. But as FOX 1 are guided with the radar of the aircraft that fired the missile, is chaff effective agaisnt such a powerfull radar especially when the distance is most of the time < 10-12 Nm ? I think it could be usefull maybe if you are in a notch position but i don't even think so, it may be usefull against fox 3 that have a less powerfull radar, but my question is regarding FOX 1, can you only defeat a fox 1 by notching or by depleating its energy by going cold ?
