  1. This was experienced in the Open Beta version of the Su-33. Lost both wings in an 'over G' then recovered from a uncontrollable roll, trimmed her out and landed many km's away at around 460 kph without any appreciable loss of control. Not sure if this still applies in the release version of DCS. no wings.miz.trk
  2. Thanks SiTh for sharing, much appreciated! It certainly does look rather stunning.
  3. Thanks IronMike for taking the timeout to reply to my post and explain the nature of this tournament. Much appreciated. S!
  4. Are you implying that noobies should join blue and the more experienced guys join red, alongside the 104th? Doesn't make sense if you are looking to have a competitive fight from both sides. Or maybe, I'm just missing the point?
  5. Now that does sound exciting news!
  6. Said the person who contributed by starting a thread - "Balancing the F/A-18C"! Just wow.:megalol:
  7. +1 for California, or New York for that matter. ;)
  8. Gentlemen, my fellow comrades of the 159th GAR are looking to revamp their website and forums. Previously, doing this ‘in house’ has proved to be extremely difficult and fruitless in the past. Therefore, they are looking at all possibilities including outsourcing this task to achieve the desired outcome, at cost. Can anyone recommend a professional, reliable, trustworthy website and forum builder? Any community input here, or via PM, would be very much appreciated. Kind regards, Ax
  9. The almost 'no comment' on a 4th gen DCS level RU fighter or aircraft in the near to distant future, is somewhat disappointing, if not unexpected. Although I do appreciate the sincerity and honesty of Matt's tone that echoes throughout that interview. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated and keep 'em coming!
  10. Genius! Thank you, gents.
  11. Aye, not really interested in playing SP against 'Bots' either. Would love a professionally made MP CO-OP campaign. Maybe one day. That being said, the guys that do SP will probably love this. The quality of these campaigns provide the most immersive experience that can possibly be achieved within a single player bubble environment, IMHO. Great work guys and thanks for the overview, Ralfi.
  12. What a strange response?
  13. Aye, this is extremely annoying at present. Is it a feature, or has it been reported? Ta,
  14. Absolutely love my Duke!!! Couldn't stand the thought of selling her before moving to Canada from the UK. So the old girl went into storage before I left. From my understanding I was prohibited from bringing any vehicle under 15 years of age? To be honest, this baby belongs on the track, far too much power to run ragged on the road. Plus, she scares the bejeepers out of me when pushed hard. Now leaning towards an Indian Scout to tour the Pacific coast and Canada. It'll be quite a contrast, I'm sure.
  15. As others have said, your communication policy has been beyond reproach. So looking forward to receiving my GF Pro and the availability of the MCG Pro in the near future! Thank you, Sir!
  16. I see that you edited your post. But doesn't ED also make make their primary means of interaction by FB? That also must be difficult for you? However, I also appreciate that their secondary mode of interaction is here, on the forums. Maybe http://www.pchelicopters.com/ is also theirs. Have you given that a thought?
  17. Why are you suggesting the everybody operates the rudder with their .FEET!? That's a pretty short sighted view in my opinion.
  18. Sometimes I think to myself that these events are solely run for their amusement and entertainment value of the aggressor squads. I honestly can't believe that that the majority of the challengers enjoy the month on month cluster of disorganization that these events inevitably bring. This recent one was nothing more than a closed session of the normal 104th daily 'run what you brung'. Now, before I get burnt alive at the stake. I can completely understand why we are in this situation. Real life always takes precedence, especially with the pressures that are placed upon us during our daily life cycle. It just seems to me that these Red Flag events that once upon a time, use to be extremely prestigious and take weeks of planning by many squads, has been diluted a little somewhat. I also appreciate that we can not dwell on the days of old and have to look forward to what we have today. Therefore, I have nothing but admiration for the 104th and their associates who go out of their way, month on month, to organise these events at their own expense. For that, I salute. From what I can gather, lonewolving is probably not the best way forward in major MP events such as these.
  19. This was the email address from which I received my key information - noreply@sendowl.com I suggest that you email Nicholas at the following address if you can't find the email that has your keycode. nicholas.dackard@gmail.com
  20. Received shirt in the post today, no need to resend! Guess it just takes a wee while for goods to arrive on this small island off the coast of Canada. Cheers, gents! A really nice quality product!!! :D
  21. Axion Lonewolf Canada - although a Brit Su-27S
  22. Not really interested in a refund, given that the shirt was part of a pre order deal back in January. However, it would be really nice to receive a shirt at some point. Maybe it can be shipped alongside the cool looking Tomcat designer wear? Whilst your at it, what is the possibility of throwing in a pair of Heatblur branded 'Aviator' shades for good measure. :P
  23. When you put it like that and they intend to process it on one CPU core, that must be one hell of a job.
