Hi For now, we have 2 choices, metric or imperial but here in Europe, in the real life ( yes i'm piloting too in the real life ) we use feet for altitude, nautic miles for distance, knots for speed but hPa for atmospheric pressure and not mmHg or inchesHg. so and hybrid system would be welcome.

Hi On M2000, the heading shown on HSI and on the top of the HUD is totally wrong. Is the 2.5 version added a ground set of this parameter ?

It was so evident. It's a better solution than trigger by trigger but I would think an action like " (des)activate all groups in the zone" But your solution is a good manner too

Hi I've found, I don't remember where, some missions with the Virpil Airfield equipment, putting plenty of different groups and objects on some Caucasus airfields. Could it be possible with the ME to activate or desactivate all these groups and objects just when the player is in (or out) a trigger zone, just with a few triggers number ? I know how to do, object by object with a long....long....long list of triggers but all together, I don't know how or even if it's possible. If you know how ?.....Thanks !

Hi I just care about that, a few minutes ago and I was just about to post a thread about that but I can see I'm not the only one and the problem is already reported. Just on NTTR in 2.5 OB. Not on 2.2. For now, I havn't noticed anything like that on Caucasus map 2.5 Thanks !

Hi With the fabulous version 2.5, I repeat what I would wish in DCS: -More parking slots on KLAS for heavy -Moving Police cars in mission editor -Moving civilian characters in mission editor -Paratroopers jumping from AI transport troopers planes As it was in some previous version of DCS: End of the fact that an AI plane rolling on the taxiway involves an interrupted approach for an AI plane in final approach. I know that 2.5 version is a beta version but too much mountains are "cut with chalk" yet on the Caucasus map. It's really better than before but you have many work yet about that.

So I've tested a few and you've really made a good work guys ! Congratulations ! It's very fluid even with high settings ( without MSAA but pixels X2 in VR) and it's a great step. The little bugs I've noticed : The F11 view needs some seconds to load on some airfields. You see the water and suddenly the good view is here. The mission editor is very long sometimes to load. In VR, smokes shot down the FPS ( not before) on very heavy missions. Don't forget to work for ending with the DRM and after, you will have the perfect simulator.

With 2.2 and wanting to keep the 2.2 version for now, 58 Go copied from my 2.2 and 15 Go to download. 17 % for now. I've read on the french forum that we must delete the file: options.lua but just in the "saved game\ DCS (for 2.5 ) I suppose. Not for the OA version or 1.5.8 version I think ?

HI I make a Huey mission and I need to ear a radio transmission on 119,9 with a sound .wav that I recorded with audacity. In the same mission, I use the condition "parameter cockpit equal to" and the parameter "UHF_FREQ" set to 255 Mhz and that's running perfectly. So I believed that for earing a radio transmission on 119,9, the condition "parameter cockpit equal to" and parameter "VHF_FREQ" was OK. But not at all ! the parameter "VHF_FREQ" is not good. So what's the good parameter to write to ear a transmission on the VHF tuner of the Huey ? Thanks !

End of problem ! Someone gave me the 0.8 version and I've removed the item causing problem in the mission. thanks !

Ok I'll try. It's a mission based on a mission found on the "users files " section but i've modified the voices and adapted to the new versions of DCS 2 No impossible to send, a text saying " a security token is missing" appears ! The mission size is > 11Mo and the max .miz file size is 9Mo

Hi I've took many time to make a mission using the old version of VPC airfield equipment ( version 1.2) on NTTR. I've updated with the Virpil files released this last Week-end and I've stupidly deleted the older versions from my archives and now, my mission doesn't run anymore, asking me the "main module". I have it but that doesn't run. I had the same problem in an other mission on 1.5 and I don't know how, and I don't remenber what I've made by hazard but this one runs again with the new mod but for the mission in 2.2: impossible to run or to load in the mission editor ! What can I do ?

Hi I keep an watchfull eye on this WIP and I'm think I'm not alone. I don't forget the announcement around Christmas day, saying that we'll have an unlimited offline mode if we have a connection crashdown.

Happy to see your turn back to better solutions. The flight simulation isn't "Call of Duty" and address less people than a blockbuster playable on video consoles by people from seven to ninety old. Just to say that people using the flight simulation are not a majority and the risk to see your work pirated is absolutly minimal. With the DRM, I feel like if I had thrown my money in a well. If, as you say, you allow a single mode like the offline steam mode, all is OK for me. Now, i stay careful until seeing in real the materialization of your decision. I will not miss to do the test, when it will be effective, by unplugging my internet cable. And I wish to ED team and all users, a merry Christmas.

W7: Button "start" then in the dialog box, type "command". you can see a MS-DOS window opening. type: cd\ then ipconfig/flushdns -

In the missions I've made, I have put a final approach zone in front of the beginning of the runway. The chicken appears just at the waiting point, each time an AI plane is in the zone,ready to land, and is disactivated when the AI plane reach the taxiway. With the bug, the AI planes are not even reaching the final approach zone, they're doing systematicaly far interrupted approachs. So the chicken doesn't appear. I don't hope pushback, DCS isn't P3D but if you delete some of your statics liners, far from ramps and gateways, no needs to create pushback, and replace them with parkings slots for "heavy". -

Hi Since today, my 2 versions of DCS need very long time to launch. I've done the command "ipconfig/flushdns" but each time it needs several minutes to launch, especially if i launch a version just after an other. ( 1.5 just after using 2.2 for exemple )

For the planes refusing to land, it's not this mod. I've tried with official ED planes and it's the same.

All, Thanks for your answer but Grimes, i'd done a mission in DCS 2 where all was Ok before the last update. So for me, this bug just appeared recently. The same for 1.5. For the 2 missions, i've even find the way to force the AI planes to stop at the waiting point without the help of a vehicle, if an other AI plane was in a short final. A vehicle being noticeable from far, I'd choose the fowl from the animals mod, absolutly less visible from the player cockpit than a jeep. But now, all that became useless. Hope ED will fix that soon and I hope ED will add more parking slot on KLAS because with the relase of the absolutly fabulous private mod giving us heavy liners, just 5 places, it's too few. I've already spoke about that in the wishlist section but as I have real doubts that this section of the forum is read by ED, I repeat here. -
Hi I'd done some missions on Las Vegas and Mineralnye with much AI traffic and since the last updates, AI planes are refusing to land if just an other AI is moving on the taxiway, even if the taxiway is far enough from the runway. It wasn't the case before these updates and i'd spent time to coordinate take-off and landings and i'm unhappy enough for this change. Each AI plane was activating the next and if one refuse to land, nothing happens anymore. :mad:
