  3. Hi When I want to close DCS from the cockpit, the game is totally freezed around 30 '' then it return to windows. This bug is only on the beta version updated today.
  4. Hi Always the problem with takes-off from carrier with AI The catapult session is very low, the planes seeming to accelerate and to take-off with the speed of a snail. After they're airborne, the speed looks better than in the previous version of DCS but they do anything they want without following the flightplan given by the ME.

  6. Hi On the beta version, if I launch a mission on NTTR, I read: Need of Nevada map for this mission. The issue happens half time. The more curious is when I use the ME. If I launch the mission with the ME, I see the NTTR map, I can modify the mission, and after I have the same message described before, as if suddenly I hadn't NTTR map anymore. No problems with the release with that.
  7. Hi It's not very important and I don't know if it's not only a VR issue or not. I"ve have noticed that with the SU-33 but it's perhaps the same with other planes: When you're above the land, flying towards the sea, and when you're facing the sun, the reflect of the sun on water is shimmering and flickering but the buildings facing you in front of the sea shore are shimmering and flickering too but only if you look through the HUD. If you incline the head and look through the side of canopy, no shimmerings for the buildings. Honestly, it's not very inconvenient but I report you that though.
  8. ED when we are several to report a problem in the beta version, the least things to do is to fix it before transferring the bug on the release version too. We were several to report the problem with the takes-off of AI from carriers on the beta version and before fixing it, you'd just tranferred the bug with the update from today, and the bug is now on the both versions of DCS !
  9. Hi I've made a mission with several SU-33 taking-off from the Kustnetzov. This mission works fine in the release version and when the mission begins, 2 SU-33 AI are taking-off before me because i'm on the park number 3 on the deck. But if I transfert this mission in the beta version, I'm no more on the park 3 but 2 and one of the AI on park 3 and if I correct with the ME, the 2 SU-33 AI are taking-off very slowly and after, they seem to be in very very low flight despite the afterburner. When it's my turn to take-off, if I try to approach the previous SU-33 , suddenly he goes away very very fast. I join the file if you want to try CAUC-SU-33 Ravitaillement.miz
  10. I've downloaded this new version yesterday. What saying except a big big thank again ? I havn't noticed a problem with trees in VR with the previous version but keeping the ED trees works fine too. Your mod makes that I do not really want to go flying on the other maps I have ( NTTR and Hormuz ) because with the Caucasus map, ED have done an amazing work but your mod enhances it even more.

HI Since the last update, the SA342 doesn't work anymore in the beta version The mission launches but we can see only the map I've tried to create a new mission, player is well set but when launching, it's only the map. All other modules are working properly All is Ok with the release version.
  13. Hi When flying low altitude and low speed with the Huey, and if there is wind enough to make high waves, I can see waves emerging through the sand of the beaches. ( found on the beaches of Dubaï).
  14. Hi I don't know if it's the same in the release version but in the beta, when reading the track, the Hot missiles of SA-342 don't reach the targets even if in the mission I've destroyed them.
  15. All is a question of choice. I've just 25/30fps in my Oculus but with pixels X 1.8, shadows, clutters and plenty of parameters you're setting to min, I've set to max Ok it's an old pic and I've since we have the SSAA I've set to X2, but the other parameters are like these ones

Hi I've just noticed a bug with the SU-33: Take-off from Kustnetsov, refueling on a refueling tanker IL-78 and wanting to land again on Kustnetsov I end the refueling around 5000Kgs of fuel to return and, big surprise, my fuel quantity increase as it was still plugged to the refueling pod of the IL-78. Imagine in real: You go to the gas station with your car, you fill an half tank and at the end of your drive, the tank is full. That makes dreaming....
  17. I was speaking about some mountains near the Oman airport called Khasab. It's a detailled area for the other points with fabulous effect water, an detailled harbour and a very detailled airport but just near the airport, I've found this kind of bad mesh on some mountains.
  18. Hi I begin to explore the map of Hormuz. A bad point ( for all maps of DCS but I thought that the problem would be fixed on the map of Hormuz) is the edges of few mountains with meshs coming from an other age, at the SU-27-flanker times ( happilly not everywhere of course, but some edges mountains aren't worthy to the 2018 year) In absolutly no other simulator nowadays, we can find these hideous cuts. The good now: In no other simulator too, I havn't seen a so high quality of water. The sensation of depth with the bottom of the water and the various effects are simply amazing. Big congratulations about that !

    Holy Cow!

    I havn't read all the topic and I just can say that if animated cows or other pets are coming in DCS, I just hope that it's just a beginning. In the wishlist section, I've often spoke about animated civilians or others stuffs like airport vehicles, or cable cars in mountains or more models of civilian cars available in the ME, some kinds of boats for rivers and all I've already spoke in the wislist section to make DCS more alive and no limiting it to war ambience. With the 2.5 ED gave us a wonderful land to fly and it's too bad to use it just with military and war affairs. Ok it's a simulator with only war flying machines but war flying machines are flying in peace times too. Hope the animated cows are only the beginning
  20. Hi ED I have the 2 versions of 2.5 on my computer: The release and the bêta. I have well understood and we'd already talk about that, that we can't have the twice versions switched on the offline mode at the same time. It's Ok for me ! But what I don't understand is that if I have the release version switched on offline mode and the bêta switched on online mode by default, if I launch the bêta, it switches automaticaly the release on online mode too and after I have the 2 versions switched on online until I launch the release to switch it on offline mode again. That means that if I use the bêta because you have fixed some problems on this version and that a crash connection arrives during this time, I return to the DRM time when a connection by 3 days was obligatory. All that I want is that if we switch one of the 2 version on offline, OK you want to protect your work and the other is automaticaly switches online, but if we launch one of the 2 version already on online mode, it doesn't switch the other on online too. Thanks !
  21. Hi If we choose to make a flight without flightplan but with a wingman, this one don't follow the player if the player choose to land on an other airfield than the take-off airfield and we must order to wingmen to RTB. An option to ask wingmen to land on the nearest airfield would be welcome.

  25. Hi I try to built a rescue mission with the Huey on a oilrig on fire. A "stretcher-body" cargo coming from the user's mod Upuaut waits the rescue on the helipad of the oilrig. I want to simulate a boarding by desactivating the static "stretcher-body" cargo when my Huey is landed on the oilrig but if I can find the command "activate static" in the trigger list, I can't find the "desactivate static" command.
