Hi. I've updated today my Open Beta to 2.8.0.32937 and when I've launched DCS OB, Steam VR started but DCS was in no VR mode despite the fact that VR was enabled in the DCS parameters. So I've disabled VR in DCS, DCS has closed then restarted in no VR mode. Then I've enabled the VR again and DCS closed again and re-started with VR enabled and this time, all was OK. So if you have this issue, you have to do like I've done.

For now, we can't see isolated cumulonimbus and lightnings going with far from our position in the DCS. Hope they will come one day. And in a more general wishlist about clouds, more clouds than just cumulus and cirrus. (Stratus, tower cumulus, cirrocumuls, nimbostratus and so on...)

I have a reverb G2, all parameters are set the max except MSAA at 2X2 and the only issue I have in 2.8 are some black flickers in the Reverb G2 if I use the back mirrors.

So this topic isn't useless. It's a wish to have the possibility to choose the place where the player's plane spawn on the deck without having to fill the deck with static airplanes to force dcs to spawn where we want.

Thanks for the link. I understand better but it's still a shame that we hadn't the choice of the parking place to begin the mission, like we have on ground. After all, a carrier is a floating airbase.

So explain me why the mission starts where I want in 2.5.7 and crashes in 2.5.8. For information, I've tried in 2.5.7 to replace the F-14 by a F-18 and the F-18 spawn in the midle of the deck. I will try to do some screenshots. You'll see as soon I post them.

Hi Now it's a fact, a long time ago, just after having purchased supercarrier, I had made a mission with the F-14 cold and dark on the Harry Trumann Carrier, and when I launched it, I was beginning on a parking place, just near the elevator behind the big tower. Nowadays this missions crashes DCS 2.8 when I try to launch it because we hadn't the choice of parking places anymore. If I create a new mission, the mission begins by placing the F-14 somewhere on the middle of the deck. It's totally unrealistic and we have no choice to change that. Despite this fact, my old mission began on the parking place I wanted and worked good until 2.8 but today, it crashes DCS totally. I regret to have bought supercarrier because it doesn't let us the choice of the parking place to begin a mission on a carrier and I just wish the return of the choice of a parking place to begin a mission with supercarrier, where I want on the carrier and not just with the plane put like a poor sh.t anywhere on the flight deck.

+1 It's the same with the stable version since the last update. Until today, I thought that the OB was used to spot the issues and to prevent to duplicate them in the stable version.

Hi If you look at a world map, you can see that from Batumi to Anapa, you have around 540Kms. And if you look, you have just a little more from Gazantep to Batumi (640 Kms). Gazantep is on the Syria map, Batumi on Caucasus map. And why not having the possibility to fly from a DCS map to an other during a flight ?

Hi, in the ME, we have the capacity to delete trees or objects and trees in a zone but I would like to have the capacity to delete the grass too. Some mods have hangars but the only solution we have to not have grass growing inside them, is to delete all the grass in the menu section. It would be a shame to deprive ourselves of grass elsewhere in the Caucasus.

Hi Since the last update, when starting from cold and dark, when I launch the FBW test, the red light flashes and stays red and the test is bad. The alert light"decol" is red too and I don't know how having a green light for the FBW test. Help please !

+1 with Oculus Rift. I havn't the OB version but some friends of mine have reported to me that the issue was already here in the OB version. Until now, I believed that the OB was used to report the bugs to you, ED, and that you waited to fix them before updating the official version of DCS, unless for the general bugs of DCS. Are things going in a wrong direction ?

Hi On maps, we can see many items (agricultural vehicles, boarding bridges, luggage transport on airports and many other items). Why these items aren't available as statics in the mission editor . You already have the models, it's surely not too difficult and no need of time to include these in the ME Thanks !

Hi Despite the initial flight plan, it would be interesting to ask to wingmen to land on the nearest airbase from the same coalition. Today, I've done a night navigation from Anapa to Batumi with the Mirage 2000 and a wingman. But, during the flight, I've changed my destination and I've decided to land at Sochi. I would love to ask my wingman to land at Sochi too but the only thing I could do is to ask him to returning to base.

Hi I respawn this old topic because I have the same issue. I've done several static templates and I've included them in some missions. If I run one of these old missions, no issue at all, the mission launches and all is quite normal, but if I create a new mission with some of the static templates I've done, I have the same issue than O-Edge, the mission can't be saved or launched. I insist about the fact that all missions created with these templates are running without any problems. Just a new mission with them is impossible. For example, I join a .stm having the issue. It needs lot of mods. Missions created with it are running perfectly but a new mission with it can't be launched. Heliport du lac.stm

Same issue than Morpheus: Landing on the gas tanker ship with the Huey, in the Batumi Habour is impossible. Ultra massive drop of FPS. Strangely I havn't big drop of FPS when landing on the Grebeni island heliport platform, despite all the polygons and details you've included (garbage, half empty swimming pool with stagnant dirty water). What a big work you've made !!!

You mean that I can install a new DCS on the future computer and keeping DCS on the old computer, as long as I don't use them at the same time ?
