  1. HI I didn't find the answer on this topic but how to place other statics than planes or helicopters under the airbase hangars ? If I try to place vehicles or characters in the hangars, they're on the roof. If I put statics airplanes, they are inside. Thanks for help !
  2. Since July that this post has been activated, we have seen a lot of update of DCS but nothing about that. And the worst is that if you create trigger zone with the excluding object trigger, the suddenly spawning boats aren't concerned and they still appearing suddenly. Many people are agree the Syrian map is the more beautiful map of DCS but it's really a shame to let this bug degrading a lot a such beautiful map. Hope that it will be fixed soon.
  3. Hi Like the soldiers of the WWII asset pack, I would appreciate to use the carrier technicians and catapult operators as IA infantry with possibility to walk from one point to another on other place than carriers.

  4. You know what, I'm giving up. That's exactly what I've already said and understand totally that you can't make every wish to comes true, especially if these wishes need too heavy times without money back in return and I'm agree totally with you for that. But if some of these wishes were very simple to realize with no need of time to realize them, I have difficulties to understand why you don't realize them. That's why I say that for me, this section of the forum is just here to give us the false feeling that ED is listening to us. Have a nice evening !
  5. Yeah, you have mentionned it, I know. The problem is the number of years we had to wait for something you'll give us soon, surely ( I hope) in a better way than the mod of Bandit64 allows but a temporary solution similar to what he has done could have been the official ED temporary answer before what you'll give us in few times. I just hope that we will need'nt to wait too long until a day you will think that removing grass in a trigger zone is perhaps a good idea like ED just think recently that the multiselection of items with the copy-paste is a good idea wished by the community since years.
  6. I understand totally that ED can't answer positively at all wishes. I understand that, like all the enterprises in the world, the goal of ED is to make money and that some of wishes here, particularly if these wishes needs time without money back. But, like I have highlighted by giving as exemple the amazing weather mod of Bandit64, some of the wishes could be easily granted and I think, perhaps wrongly, that the fact to remove grass in trigger zone is just more easy for a programmer team than greatly enhancing the weather like a single user has done for the community with just some lines in a lua file and that ED could have think to make this little file themselves in some minutes to please the wishes of the community wanting since years more options to set the weather than the poor options offered by default by ED until the next upgrade.
  7. At least, your answer, Bignewy proofs that now you're aware of the request. Perhaps I'm wrong, as says dangerzone, that it's not a few lines to add to the code, but if I compare that with an other subject: since years, some customers have asked to ED a better management of the clouds and weather ( thickness, ceiling) and I know, the next update will include ( dare I say at long last) a big improvement of the weather and clouds. But since some months, an user has done a magnificent mod with just some code lines in a lua file ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335023/ ) and this litle mod allows us to have at last a more realistic and beautiful weather, with just some lines of a lua file. In brief, he did the job that ED should have done a long time ago . That's why I'm inclined to think that it would surely be the same to add the grass in the remove list of the removing action of objects and trees in the third board of triggers panel. But as I said previously, I'm not a dev, perhaps that for the grass it's less easier and more time-eater, I don't know. An other exemple too and as you can see, i'm french and on a french forum, we can read the reactions saying "at last !" about the multiselection of objects for copying-pasting coming in the next update and asked by many people since long long years. You're understand now why we have often the feeling that this section of the forum is like the red button on the traffic-lights pole, for the pedestrians, giving them the false feeling that the traffic light will turn red for the cars, sooner that if nobody has pressed, when in fact, it doesn't set out to do anything.

  9. I admit that some of the threads here are impossible to do or too time-eater to realize. But since you have included in the ME the capacity to edit the trigger zones and ajusting them as polygons, me and many others have asked that the action of disappearance of the grass could be included the triggers disappearance of trees or objects in the third part of the trigger board. And I'm sure that it's just only some lines of programming code to modify or to add. We can have official or unofficial hangars and it's very unrealistic to see static planes parked in them with their wheels hidden by a high grass. ED, please, add a lawnmower in the triggers. You can say, in other way that it's possible to remove the grass in the graphic settings. But your grass is very well done and it would be a shame to remove it everywhere, just defined zones would be perfect.
  10. Ah Ok but they surely know because no problem of this kind with the Ben Gurion airport of the Sinaï map. I presume that each devellopers enterprise knows the work of their rivals.
  11. I don't understand your message Draconus. Why are you showing me real satellite pictures of Ben Guryon airport ? I know that it's an international airport, the biggest civilian airport of Israël state. My message is precisely about the fact that we can't place this kind of planes as IA (except start on runway, aligned with engines ON ) on the parkings of Ben Guryon airport.
  12. So I've tried with IL-76 and with B-52H which are official ED IA planes and it's the same: Impossible to place them as start from parking on Ben Gurion Airport. So, it's useless to enhance a map ( the best map for DCS I must say) and its airports, if we haven't possibility to place the planes made for these airports, officlal planes or third-part mods.

  14. Hi I wanted to create a civilian liners trafic starting at Ben Gurion and it's impossible to put larger AI airplanes than A320 or B727 on the parking. If you try, the heavier liners than these, are automaticatly sent on Tel Nof parking . On the Ben Gurion airport of Sinai map, no problem with that, all planes are accepted. ED could you fix that please ?
  15. Seen from sky with high speed, the infantry aren't very visible. I only asked myself why ED has made WWII asset pack models of Flak or DCA with infantry around if these infantry aren't essential for the good efficiency of these AAA models in their detecting-firing role. On a heavily charged mission they drops unnecessary the FPS and the memory. To explain all, I've downloded many WWII templates airbases created by MrGoodnite for the Normandy 2 map. But these templates are including a lot of ED WWII asset packs AAA models and as these models are including many unnecessary infantry, using several of these templates drop dragstically the FPS and I wanted to know if the fact of erasing these added infantries changed the realism of the fights. So , I know now that I can erasing them. The animated weapons operators included with these weapons are enough for realism.

  17. Hi Models of AAA with Assets pack included in DCS are putting 3 soldiers behind each pieces of DCA ( or flak). I've made the try after erasing these soldiers, letting just the DCA or flak with their operators included on the models and all seems to working well for all type of DCA or flak and the enemy planes are targeted and shooted when flying above. However I let the 2 german soldiers near all the kdo optical targeting system ( 1 for the kdo, 1 for the generator). If I delete these soldiers, do the models of flaks will working with the same efficiency ? And are the other DCA or flaks models working with the same efficiency since I've erased the 3 soldiers behind each gunnery pieces ? And in the same way, do we need soldiers behind the tracking light projectors ? Thanks !
  18. In first I must congratulate ED for what they've done with de Tel Nof Airbase. Absolutly FAN-TAS-TIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I would just want to know if they intend to report the same work on the Tel Nof airbase of the Sinaï map ?
  19. No it isn't. And that's quite abnormal. Do the SU-27 or 33 have an unfonctional radar ? No ! So this plane is less complicated than the modern jets of FC3 and ED didn't implement the visor setting.
  20. ED, people wanting dots can have them in the state they are now if they want, but people not wanting them could have the possibility to disable them. But since the patch, it's not the case whatever the setting. For me in VR with HP Reverb G2, dots are totally unpleasant, big black points moving in the sky. You don't have to work about the dots consistency or making them acceptable for all VR materials. You have to work only on the capacity to switch them on or off. That's all !
