You have to understand that initially there was no plan to include an English cockpit at all, it was created by a tester as a mod and incorporated into the Sim long after the English manual had been completed. So the English labels are actually a bonus for those who want to trade realism for convenience. ;) And don't underestimate the work required to make the screenshots. I took those for the German GUI manual (which has much less screens than the flight manual), it's not just making the pics what takes time, but also "arranging the scene" before taking a pic and the editing (cutting, resizing, adjusting info pointers etc.) afterwards. Personally I don't understand what all the fuss is about, I mean you can easily identify each switch etc. by its location, what do you need labels for?

This could be caused by the file virtualization feature (which I guess is also present in Win 7). Check if the Explorer shows a "Compatibility Files" button when you browse to the directory with the player.lua file. If so make sure that you run Black Shark in admin mode and that you have full write access to that folder. If you don't have write access to a folder in the "Program Files" tree, Windows automatically moves a file that you copy there to another location in order to protect your installed programs.

Reinstalling your OS will force you to reactivate BS, so you should use a deactivation before wiping your HD. As mirmidon said above, refer to the QS manual.

Du kannst die Schubkontrolle direkt in den Steuerungsoptionen im Spiel zuweisen, und zwar auf der Seite Achsenkommandos im Kategorie-Menü (vorher richtigen Spielmodus wählen). Mit Saiteks Profileditor funktioniert das nicht, da kannst Du nur Tasten zuweisen. Zur Info, einige Leute haben Probleme mit dem X52 Pro, BS stürzt wohl relativ häufig ab, wenn das bei Dir auch auftritt, sag Bescheid, im engl. Forum hat jemand einen provisorische Lösung dafür gefunden.

Hehe, you should read a book about the Air Cav in Vietnam. Troop insertions into / extractions from hot LZs and also rescue missions were among the most dangerous missions pilots had to fly. Not only were they exposed to enemy fire on the approach, ground and departure, these missions also required a great deal of flying skills. ;)

Erstellst Du die Route mit dem ABRIS oder dem PVI? ABRIS und PVI sind unabhängig, Du kannst ABRIS Wegpunkte weder über das PVI auswählen noch den Autopiloten einer ABRIS Route folgen lassen. Die Flugdaten auf dem HUD sind ebenfalls vom PVI.

Leider nicht, Du kannst aber zumindes Daten über das Datalink senden. Für Kommunikation musst Du Chat oder TS etc. verwenden.

Debrief.log is used for servers as well, the other logfile you should look at is the net-server.log, it contains player names and IPs etc. Afaik objective completion isn't logged anywhere, which is a real pity. On a sidenote, if you are interested in additional logging activity, you should take a look at my upcoming ServMan mod, which writes a few additional events to the logfiles.

The Yankee Air Pirates 2 mod for WOV features Hueys, I don't know if they also have Cobras. I would kill for a high-fidelity sim of any of those two aircraft. ;)

There was somebody who changed the look of the indicator, maybe the same file lets you also move it around. Forgot who it was though, so search the forum! EDIT: found it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=37179

You have to assign the X52 axis on the "Axis commands" page of the "Category" drop down menu. :)
