True, playing at night, tired, after a beer and you improve the simulation. Reading any books, about fighting/flying and you will create your fake memories :-D
-
Well, I mean in flight. But that was just a detail that catch me reading the 'mastering the Emil' that I want to verify in DCS implementation. I'm afraid that like other modules (Mig21, Viggen,Harrie and Mi8) the Kurfürst will enter in my hearth and will flight it at study level in single players for months before to enter in actions. Indeed, currently busy with startup/takeoff/circuit/landing... thinking about young guys in the fighter pilot training on that monster, the 109.
-
That war the reason I finally got the 109.. jumping into dcs ww2 from others dcs modules and il2. Very nice read, will try soon how the slats are modelled....
-
Same here, the Harriet now has a fantastic anti rain system..... no drops at all. Already checked the configuration in the special settings.

+1 Just bought the Gazelle and after few minutes flying, in/out from hovering to ETL is clear that something is not right. It's true that I'm not RL pilot but have strong passion in helicopter physics and experienced with other DCS modules and 407 from xplane. Polychop please share your idea.

Ground mapping radar please!!! I need that as I could get lost on all the new maps are coming :-D
-
Thank you very much for this nice news!

It's the power of our desolation. I would buy it again for no bugs and a great campain.

My best suggestion, beside personal opinion and which kind of roles you like to play (single and multiplayer), I can suggest to read the Chuck guide, books and story of the aircraft. Takes time, wife will complain of what you are reading in your bed, but it gives much more if you invest money in something that you know and like.

Thrustmaster t16000m vs CH Fighterstick/Combatstick.
Elwood replied to dundun92's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have both of them and I prefer the FlightStick, mainly for the multiple HAT and that is designed to resemble a true fighter joystick. The TM16000 has a good accuracy but I'm using it as secondary joystick (needed for viggen and mirage). -
In my opinion is needed. Having a rendered area larger then what you can see it's an huge advantage in terms of Rift motion performances. Means... when you slighting rotate your head the engine doesn't always need a new frame can actually pan on what is rendered. This gives a faster reaction time and a feeling of high FPS, means... no motion sickness.

Was like that if mapped on a hotas button.

It's out of topic here, but I think you are right, it's the rb15f and its probably the mk I.

The RB15 is doing that on the horizontal plane to dodge the ship's air defenses....

*** Hotfix for mini-campaing "The Mjolnir Response" ***
Elwood replied to Jediteo's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Great! Works. But what should I do once released on official update? Thank you. -
Hi, I know is minor and forgive me if it's already posted. The Viggen wingman is deploying chaff wihtout any pod. If it's a secret feature, let me know how I can do the same! :-D

Where the CK37 store waypoints? Cartridge file?
Elwood replied to Elwood's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
It did work pretty well. Did a good anti ship mission sinking two ships on Cold War server. Planning the mission with the CustomCartridge.ini an then BX8 for the Rb15. Initially did not go, no distance bar on the HUD, then yes not sure what happen. Thank you all! -
Where the CK37 store waypoints? Cartridge file?
Elwood replied to Elwood's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Ah, now I think I got your point and tonight I will verify if the following works. That number in the kneeboard is not the number of available flight plans but the index of what you want in the cartridge. So, with the new binded key select the index to #7 and load the cartridge in our loved Viggen computer. From that point I can change the CustomCartidge file anytime (just wait 10 seconds) with a 9099.... easy like install an app from the Saab appstore on the CK37 device :-D Is absolutely fine, I can understand not user experience software design at this stage :-D -
Where the CK37 store waypoints? Cartridge file?
Elwood replied to Elwood's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Uhmmm. No luck. I created that file next to the ELINT data but the cartridge still to 0. Let's wait for the next patch ;-) (Tested on the quick startup cold takeoff mission and on the multiplayer ColdWar server) -
Where the CK37 store waypoints? Cartridge file?
Elwood replied to Elwood's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Sounds great! Let me ... to recap. Creating this file (at anytime is checked every 10 seconds) will allow me to load data from the kneeboard, the one where to reload/rearm from BAS 90 ground unit. %SAVEDGAMES%/DCS_AJS37/CustomCartridge.ini cartridgename = Custom cartridge test [LS] latitude = 41.60917 latitudeminutes = 0 latitudeseconds = 0 longitude = 41.60028 longitudeminutes = 0 longitudeseconds = 0 missiontime = 0 velocity = 0 etalocked = false velocitylocked = false istargetpoint = false [b1] latitude = 41.93028 latitudeminutes = 0 latitudeseconds = 0 longitude = 41.86528 longitudeminutes = 0 longitudeseconds = 0 missiontime = 0 velocity = 0 etalocked = false velocitylocked = false istargetpoint = false [b2] latitude = 42 latitudeminutes = 0 latitudeseconds = 0 longitude = 42 longitudeminutes = 0 longitudeseconds = 0 missiontime = 0 velocity = 272 etalocked = false velocitylocked = true istargetpoint = false [b3] latitude = 42 latitudeminutes = 55 latitudeseconds = 55 longitude = 42 longitudeminutes = 55 longitudeseconds = 55 missiontime = 0 velocity = 0 etalocked = false velocitylocked = false istargetpoint = false [L1] latitude = 42.17750 latitudeminutes = 0 latitudeseconds = 0 longitude = 42.48194 longitudeminutes = 0 longitudeseconds = 0 missiontime = 0 velocity = 0 etalocked = false velocitylocked = false istargetpoint = false -
Asking always for ground power, helps.

Hey Viggen drivers, yesterday night on the Cold War server, I did the same flight. Sometimes I accidentally :music_whistling: ehmm... crashed (due to SAM activity, flying between powerlines and three as some drawbacks) so manually waypoint reinsert was needed into the fantastic CK37. Can I save/reload the cartridge file? Will it work after few days.

New on this module and feeling mi21 kind of love, looking to recap...
Elwood replied to Elwood's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Apache600 great! Seems that will be better if they will let you change the official manual ;-) I'm now able to concentrate on weapon deployment training, but the best part (mostly unique of this module) is the before flight in cockpit flight planning, it gives you so much in terms of satisfaction even if you miss the target ;-) Love that! With the Mig21 I was doing it on paper or with some flight planner (xp11 style). Thank you all.
