Why isn't the A-6 Intruder in the poll? It is a complex twin engine jet. It also makes the most sense considering it goes great with the Tomcat and Forrestal carrier. They have also already done a lot of work creating an AI version.

I am very much looking forward to the P-47! This along with the Channel map is what will finally get me into DCS WWII. Isn't it time that the P-47 finally gets it's own forum section?

I run 1440p as well, system in my signature... For 60 FPS in all situations, you will have to turn down some settings, but 60 FPS minimum will be no problem for the majority of the time.

This should not be an issue. The wing tip vortices are currently simulated and are able to move with the wing sweep.

Why was this moved to the bug section? It was just a general question. Should I take this as meaning the control inputs are currently not working as intended then?

Great research DarkClown! Hopefully this leads to some tweaks that increase FPS in the Tomcat...we all know that it is needed. Hopefully Vulkan will help boost FPS as well.

For example: Updated/finished B cockpit instruments and details Improved external lighting Improved/additional wing vapor effects Additional official skins for the B Additional Jester callouts and comms One big question in regards to the Forrestal...if the Supercarrier is purchased, will it's comms/ATC work with the Forrestal as well? Does anyone else think the relationship between ED and Heatblur just seems strange?

Yes, but light sticks are still needed to be able to see signals from the deck crew. A quick look online at night carrier operations will show light sticks in use, even with the deck lights on. It is also obvious why the light sticks are needed at night, even with deck lighting.

So you are saying you don't know if night operations are possible with the Supercarrier yet? Without the light sticks, what is the alternative?

Wags/ED, What are the recommended axis curve/saturation settings for the Warthog stick when flying the F-16?

I have been experiencing this exact same problem as well lately. Has anyone found a solution? I believe it is from the Logitech gamepad I have connected...I use it for gear, flaps, etc. It will happen during the first flight upon loading, I will use an input from the gamepad, typically gear, and all controls will stop functioning until I alt tab. However, there are a few times where the screen will flash with a DCS logo for a brief second, causing loss of control input without me doing anything

Is it now time that the devs create a Corsair sub-forum?

+1 How can anyone buy this without seeing actual gameplay footage and detailed information? Has everyone already forgotten about the F-16? I am holding off buying until I see more...oh, and also once the F-14 in shown working with it too.

Hmmm...I see what you are saying. I think the confusion may be from what the lights are called. In official documentation, those tail lights are referred to as formation lights. So are these lights formation, fuselage, flood? I just find it confusing that the lights that illuminate the tail are controlled by a position light switch labeled FUSELAGE. Those two lights are not position lights in any traditional aviation sense, and they light up the tail, not the fuselage.

From what I am reading, the lights that illuminate both sides of the vertical stabilizer are clearly marked as being formation lights. To me, it is clearly stated that the FORM knob would control the intensity of them and also turn them off when the MASTER knob is in NORM and regardless of what POSITION light switches are set to. Why hasen't ED responded to this yet...either to say it's a bug or to say it is right as is and provide the source/reasoning.

I am really happy and excited that we will be getting an F4U Corsair in DCS, especially with WWII Pacific finally becoming a reality in DCS. You guys have an opportunity to do something really special here, on the level of the Heatblur Tomcat. Good luck and I am looking forward to getting to fly it...with VF-17 of course! :pilotfly:

$50 is way too much for the Supercarrier. $25 is fair and what I think the full price should be and the most I will spend considering what the carrier is and what features it will currently have. However, we know very little at this point and if the feature list expands, a higher price may be more justifiable.
