I guess to help middle of the range PC gaming systems . As we know 2.9 has been very power hungry. Some people , well most i guess cant afford RTX 4090s . Thats my thinking and to bring smooth frame rates to desktops and VR .

I'm going to Bump this again , Petro needs some work its getting quite frustrating online , Targets spotted Petro wont lock , cant see targets crosshair dances around locks then wont fire . its all very odd . lock air targets - He wont id takes forever . By the time id target too late shot down too close to target . Open flat terrain big black blob for targets wont id .

Always make a back up of your settings , when you change computer to upgrade your have your DCS controller files to hand .

I love VR but its definitely needs more work the ghosting in DCS VR is pretty bad and cause sickness after too much time in the sim . Ive gone back to Single core exe . MASS x 2.

Now that we have upscaling will the ghosting effect be ironed out with updates or is this what we have with upscaling. DLSS , TAA , DLAA . I've never used upscaling until DCS.

Single thread is faster than MT in loading times . MT takes ages to load in . Not good while in VR , some thing not right with MT after last patch . Gone back to single core . Waiting for update. When is a fix coming.

I've not seen my door gunner fire one round yet , free fire . Is it working with latest patch .

Can we as a pilot change between flares and chaff . I want to assign a flare key and chaff key on my HOTAS .

What about Ryzen cores . ?

Its a welcome map to have . Plenty of conflicts to research and act out . I'm sure most of us know that history. We have the correct equipment to play on .

I don't think you need the ---force OpenXR , command line because MT , runs openxr natively. Try with and with out . Also try a different driver install.

I would go PCVR to a graphics card port it's the way to get best picture quality. G1 . G2. Pico 3 Pico 4 . With VD . Quest 3 . Even a rift s . You have a good system no problems flying on medium settings, also DCS is not optimized for VR. Even the top range systems struggle with stuttering and crashes . Dcs has come a long way but it's still got plenty of work to do .

You using wireless connection, isn't pico connect in beta stage , and is steamVR still running.

I'm going to have dive deeper into this , i followed this video on the STEM rotation knobs . ill test more . I know we can use the two wheels as radar elevation and range . Which comes in handy . thx more testing

Got mine on Monday very quick delivery. Amazing hardware the software is a bit over whelming, but some good videos on YouTube. Question can we use the throttle wheels x 2 on the left throttle as AXIS . They trigger as buttons . Any ideas. We can have upto 8 axis I think in the software. Thanks .

Shouldn't Petro close the scope when you start to bank away Automatically.

Thank you I'm glad I'm not the only one that have noticed that Petro isn't locking targets. Open flat desert and big targets and the cross hairs dance around . And plenty of misses even when in clear sight .

The Syria map uses a lot of Vram , drop your PD down to 1.0 , turn shadows off , have low terrain on in Syria . Medium textures . Check Vram usage . Also there is problems with lots of ground objects loading in and out with MT. Memory leak and texture popping. See jabbers video . YouTube.
