I Play VR only and every time I take the cat out the bag the pilot is in the seat . I wish for the pilot not to be there as it's a pain . I've checked the show NO pilot body in options yet here it is , this must be a bug .

Welcome to DCS , the never ending issue, 2.9 has brought in some shady shading , this vanishing thing is a DCS thing , not your hardware or your eye sight . VR is broken with this spotting issue. I'm having same issues as you on same server , I can't see anything and if I do I can't work out what it is , until right on top , if I'm lucky enough . I've stopped buying modules .

As per title, when hit with missile you don't get chance to eject always a black screen, can hear airframe spinning out. This happens every time this must be a bug . Any other airframe I can eject .

Yep always black screen , I've noticed this also , these few days flying the cat . I can never eject .

Is this in multiplayer or single player. A few months back I brought up the Phoenix wasn't hitting targets and this was with constant lock . 24 fired and only one hit this isn't the way .

Can confirm as of today black VID , also comms menu won't show up , my end , can't rearm and refuel this only on F14B . Any ideas all works before patch yesterday in VR . Will test on single core later .

Its been broken for ages , was fixed a few months back , but now again broken . DCS . !!!

Wow! What can I say this is clearly broken, Flying in VR fighter jets has become a broken spotting issue, the enemy airframes are just vanishing, so I turned on the new spotting option in main menu and this became even worse than having it off. This is totally wrong what has happen since last few patches , this needs addressing it's been way too long in the tooth and NOW VR is terrible. Thousands of Dollars are being spent to keep up with DCS and its well coding. It's time to wake up, DCS. What a waste of Sunday afternoon. The 2d flat screen looks amazing in 2k - 4k resolution, and you can track your targets in 3d space. Rant. Please fix this **** I shall be asking for a full refund on all my modules and maps and will send back all my hardware.

What server , the F4 is causing huge lagg and stutters on enigma server . This is confirmed through discord from players. I also was on there the other night and it's was unplayable.

What does that actually mean. ? . Are you testing a new spotting system. ? Or .....?

Have you tried this off line . If so how did Petro do . There are many threads on this subject that Petro isn't picking up targets , I fly only online I was told maybe this has something to do with the server and the sync between Petro and multiplayer . I've not tested off line .

I believe that the Ai has already been worked on , maybe a year ago , I know the WWII airframes had some updates . Maybe the last few patches did some thing.

IMHO I think the answer will come when vulkan arrives .

What system would be used . Let's say ED scap this dot system as you are asking , what's in its place .

I would say this is due to the march patches, looking at the forums this has been going on for some time , lag in main menu and load up screen ,this is DCS today . I haven't touched DCS for nearly two months due to working abroad, on my return DCS has become unstable and slow with memory leaks . Try single core or MT with certain cores disabled. Look on the forums and see if you can change cores .

Again DCS has a problem, it's not just the spotting issues it's the invisible airframe when it gets with in let's say 5 miles . The transfer from black blob to a 3D image. Today i on the enigma cold war server . First on my 43"inch 4k TV. I could clearly see contacts at 10 miles according to the call outs . I then went back into VR on my pico 3 link i went back to same location on call outs and i could not see a thing with Call outs coming in at 3 miles . I Died and reset . So frustrated , I switched to the big black blobs and now I can see them at distance in VR . But coming into close combat short range I loose sight , the large dot just disappeared, I have not bought the F4 because I'm still waiting for a fix on this issue and many other issues. And I will continue to keep my money. . 2.9 _ looks great but with it comes problems. And they don't seem to be getting fixed . Tracks still broken . MT still broken . Spotting still broken. Multiplayer net code still broken. The core of this game .

Agree with this and this is what I'm saying here , DCS is all over the place , as the saying goes , A Cluttered bedroom = a cluttered mind . Keep your house in clean tidy order = happy well some thing like that . lol

This is what I'm saying DCS needs to sit down and talk . I'm shocked at the comments here just over a 24 hour delay , have things gotten that bad really . Maybe its a build-up of things going on with DCS and this is being used as pure frustration . Not sure to be honest . +1

To be honest I think DCS should sit down and have a board meeting. And talk. IMHO , waiting six weeks for patches isn't good in my opinion. Especially if that patch isn't a good one . Let's have a working and stable platform to introduce flight modules.

D-DAY put back 24th Hours due to bad weather . The entitled read above . Have some prospective. Take another day off work to recover .
