  1. Here is my two cents; I use OBS everyday and I do not have this problem. You could have a few potential issues. The first potential issue: The graphics.lua file in your Saved Games/Config folder, try using Notepad++ (third party notepad software) to edit the maxfps value to your desired max framerate (default is 180) then make sure you save the file after you make this change. Second potential issue: It is also possible that your NVIDIA Control Panel settings for DCS are forcing V-Sync, meaning you changed the option inside NVIDIA Control Panel to On, where the default setting is defined as "Use the 3D application settings". I can help/explain this more if you need. Third idea: Not sure about your display, but it is possible that your monitor has a setting that affects max FPS (I think this is FreeSync or G-Sync, sorry for confusion) Fourth idea: Go into the Saved Games folder, copy your Input folder out of there (have a duplicate of the folder made somewhere else) and then go to the root of the Saved Games folder. You'll see DCS and DCS.openalpha (if you have DCS 2.0 installed on your computer.) Delete the DCS folder here. Then, restart your computer. After restarting, run DCS as administrator (let me know if you need help) and DCS will load with its default graphics settings. Put them back to your desired in the Options, click OK, and then use the Input folder you backed up to restore your aircraft control bindings (I can help with this too.) Hopefully something here helps you. Let us know. :)
  2. Yeah, and I think this has to do with DTSAS and its terrain data processing as well. The accuracy of EGI and DTSAS increases with time. EGI will be most accurate at the end of the alignment, after you enter NAV Mode.
  3. I agree. At the end of the day, DCS multiplayer is entirely up to the community to drive. We can have as much fun with it as we will. :)
  4. Hey there! Helios may be what you are looking for. http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/helios You might also want to check out UltraMFCD here: https://ultramfcd.com/ Hope that helps! Feel free to message me on the forum or contact me via other means. :)
  5. Hey Reaper, I sent you a PM on the forum. Glad you reached out to connect! :)
  6. My two cents; From my discussions with my community, we are interested in the Stuka. It is a very interesting aircraft with a lot of great nuances. It is like the Spitfire Mk. IX in that way. At the end of the day, from what I see streaming the game everyday, DCS is a sandbox. We'll enjoy flying the module if it is done well. It is up to us, the community to facilitate the direction of the multiplayer scene. Let's not giveup our chances to experience a legendary aircraft with the fidelity that only DCS can provide. :)
  7. Do you have a log in DCS/Saved Games/UserName/DCS/Logs that you can give?
  8. 2017 is going to be a great year for DCS and the community as a whole. Would love to meet you guys, you're all always welcome to say hello/message me. Let's make 2017 the best year DCS has seen yet! I truly believe that it will be. :)
  9. I like that! Not a WW2 aviation buff, but definitely would be cool to have.
  10. Yup. I have the same issue unfortunately. Then again, the triggers in all of the campaigns seem to be broken at the moment.
  11. Piercing Fury is great. I'll be streaming more of it today if you want to come check it out. Red Flag is wonderful. Red Flag is essentially based on having a real competitive adversary for pilots to train against. I think DCS Red Flag has real SAMs but the real Red Flag simulates SAM systems and radars.
  12. HNY! Thank you Cobra, the rest of LNS, and all of ED/TFC for all of your hard work. Our community is extremely excited to see your tireless efforts come to life this year. 2017 is going to be amazing for DCS and your team is one of the biggest reasons. Cheers.
  13. It seems patience is the key here. :)
  14. It seems that as of now, tooltips are forced server side. If there isn't a way to disable tooltips for VR, then something needs to be implemented under the VR tab in the future. Thanks! :)
  15. As I have said in another thread; we need to be patient and support ED/TFC. We are not far from our dreams. Don't give up! People often lose hope when what they want is actually pretty close by. :)
  16. I understand the issue. Hawg is the main reason I started DCS in the first place. Let's be patient. It is very possible DCS 2.5 has what we need here. :)
  17. I haven't experimented with the different AI skill levels. Could try changing their skill levels.
  18. Something like this would be great for missions such as Buddy Spike missions.
  19. Differences in flight models/changes to them since 1.2 is a possibility.
  20. Recently getting VR myself, I would also like to be able to have a toggle pilot body for the Hawg. Maybe the current one when you hit Left Ctrl+F11 could be used? That one might be too low of a resolution but its an idea. :)
  21. Hey there! Myself and others would be happy to assist in your Hawg learning. What were you looking for? :)
  22. The CADC, or Central Air Data Computer, provides airspeed values, temperature values, and pressure values to Hawg systems (among other things.) The reason that the CADC failure does not affect flight is because it does not affect the Hawg's ability to fly. It only affects systems that are dependent on the CADC. The Pitot-Static airspeed indicator is a backup for the CADC upon its failure.
  23. My community and I, as well as the DCS community are very excited to experience your work. Thank you for sharing. The future looks bright. :)
  24. QuiGon hit the nail on the head. Uninstall the Steam version and download and install the Standalone version, located here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/ You'll want 1.5 Release.
