  1. there are so many thing can go wrong. Atm based on your info I can only assume that your router assign your server PC different lan IP every time. read the router manual, or search windows static ip. try assign your server a static IP , redo your port forwarding setting to this IP. And since your server are on home internet. Make sure your friends router always has a public IP. Some ISP may assign your home a private IP every once a while due to IPv4 exhaustion . It will make your server unreachable no matter what. DCS server require proper network setting to make it work. Home internet environment is always changing. Everytime it changes you have to adjust accordingly. There is no easy way to explain if you have no basic knowledge how do networking.
  2. Q: Where were the server hosted? Home server and home internet? (Home computer under NAT and DHCP need check IP and route forward setting everytime when it boot) Rent server(vps and baremetal server)? (Is the server internet ok?)
  3. steam is not behide but rather a human error they forget update the steam app launcher info. bin-mt is already there. steam fetch the option then stored in appinfo.vdf appinfo.vdf governors the executable path and args. and it updates every single time when steam launches. Steam cant excute different binary w/o fallingback to default one. And ED drm prevent any executable swap, so swap bin-mt and bin folder wont work so at aleast current ob is same as stable. switch to ob if you want use bin-mt version ED please fix this?
  4. Instead of let "anit-ship -a" do it automatically. I was trying to timing and quantify expend an attack from different waypoint or trigger/script under single flight. Su34 with AshM/ARM, just keep aegis busy. Since GUI in CAS role cant select ship as target. I choose anit-ship role and "anit-ship -a" action was removed in my flight. It seems something preventing next attackUnit and attackGroup applied on the same target. Only the first attack command on new target is performed. Apply attack command on same target at later waypoint is unpredictable. most of wp attack were ignored, depends on different groupAttack, expend and attackQty configurations, very rarely few attack actions beside the initial one was performed. I have tried using stop condition or poptask()/ resettask() then pushtask() to clear potential stucked actions. No luck. regardless what i do. most likely only the first attackUnit or attackGroup waypoint was working. Although GUI wont allow user target navy unit under CAS role from beginning, switch antiship back to CAS or manually edit the mission lua will work. Under CAS attackUnit and attackGroup works fine in rest of waypoints. Only the attack pattern and quantity is different. Im still working on constructing a miz that isolated and reproduce this issue. Not sure it's AI thing or mission editor issue. reported or not. Please move if necessary.
  5. AI on attackUnit and attackGroup ties to flight roles. Like CAS role i tested it can re-engage multiple times, and can apply multiple attackUnit and attackGroup command. Antiship, SEAD i figured out that you must saturate the defense in one run. it almost impossible to apply second attack command. But sometimes it can but very unstable and can not reproduce consistently. Let the anti-ship -a and sead -a do it's job. attack command is unreliable If you want timing your attack or quantify expend, use CAS instead. AI is more predicable.

  10. maybe just more ppl keep seeding stable. or those seeders have more bandwidth. by common sense they should not always same, unless their are the original source seeders( official server) as i mentioned. usually if you put torrent file in a decent BT client, you can see actually who contribute most of speed. and the seeds health stat which one is more "popular" in general. probably they wont be the same or the offcial seeder have speed policy settings. who knows. if you want to jump into those tech details. you can find those torrent file under _download folder while downloading. put them into a BT software.
  11. they are p2p distribution by default, not center server. you connect with people , and they are not always the same in BitTorrent network. and the speed will NOT always stay as same. just matter of time, they may shift and changes in BitTorrent. unless you only got the original source server , but it aslo change because other ppl may connect it as well. when with HTTP method, it has multiple server across euro and US, you may not always get same server for deliver ob and stable, and internet capacity on server , on route , by ISP policy may very different because all kind of traffic.
  12. Base latency did nothing with bandwidth. Base latency is just physical distance / light speed in fiber, plus 10~40 routers processing time, plus bufferboat and qos buffer time. BTW China did not have such thing called "net neutrality". By avg, per user global internet access is less than 0.05mbps ( cnnic research). Thus plus notorious gfw, nasty laws, China ISP companies did not accept any public peering, sell international access ip trans 1000x more expensive, to those big ass international company that can afford.because of this for home users, In most China ISP throttle policy, home internet access to offshore internet ranked in lowest tier. Or pay 10000(yuan) or 2000$ per Mbps per month for dedicated international internet access. Or cheap chinese gaming VPN(aka accelerator) which basically is reselling their high tier business internet plan, technically it's illegal and require license( almost impossible to obtain ), but it's China anyway ppl find their own way to do business regardless, and it may act as honey pot sniff all of your traffic for "reasons" In short get your ass out that place asap.

  15. 看了一圈wiki,公开的lua 函数没有你要的这种功能。AI停止移动AI off这一类指令只能用于地面单位。AI在路径点1盘旋或者uncontrolable,设置盘旋时间,或者使用all unit in zone 触发器,或者radio item F12 来关闭AI盘旋

  17. debrief ≠ track。 多人自动track 可以禁用,通过autoexec传参,参数。。忘记了。。论坛上有 搜一下吧 单人默认不保存,多人是实时的貌似 debrief 统计貌似动不了。

  20. it seems i figure it out. maybe not the same issue. i mistakenly took client track compare with server tracks:music_whistling: more like desync between server/client . rewatch tracks from both side. somehow there is no action on client side or lots delay. server events look legit. client looks bad most of times. My tracks are mess i only pick the recently 2 test run. Im not very sure if it belone this issue or not. help me figure it out:music_whistling: Multiplayer.zip
  21. Not all. WII asset FLAK not work or behave very strange. compare with normal 3D rendering Completely no reaction all the time. or delay reaction for 2~6mins need more testing on WWII asset Some units only take reaction AFTER taking damage.

  24. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 如果是支持down/up_value 形式的宏,可以直接设定开关两个状态,得稍微改一下lua。我的mig21还有部分FC的功能直接这样实现了 有些宏没定义value的,一般是设计之初只是考虑键盘按键切换那种,基本上自己编程或者愿望单石沉了。:music_whistling:
