  1. I have issue with Steam downloaded instance In any cases steam only start run.exe. And run.exe did not pass any custom parameter to DCS.exe manuall command line start DCS.exe will not work neither, DCS will call steam then exit the current process anyway. steam.exe again will start run.exe and lost all parameter In this case. netsh did not show any listening ports beside 10308, nor any webgui entity in dcs.log. Obviously other thing like --norender did not work neither. Can you make run.exe able to pass parameter to DCS. or let ppl set those via autoexec.cfg

PS dns污染只是局部地区和二级三级ISP。 大部分地区面临的问题是跨运营商peering 绕路,宽带超售导致QOS丢包率居高不下等 ED主服务器只有一台。(91.134.1.104) ED没有CDN。所以除非你可以确认你的网络运营商存在DNS投毒,否则这种操作是没什么用的。(确认投毒的最好投诉12377,因为这种面临的风险包括MITM攻击,个人隐私泄露,是违法行为) 最好ED官方多开几个反代。或者网友自己用手里的各种闲置vps Nginx反代至主域名 这个问题应该是被反应过很多遍了。我觉得反映一下让uboat沟通沟通看看增加几个官方的亚洲或者美西的gateway 然后反代至主服务器

  7. I want to rant this (again.) No ISP( no matter net neutrality or not.) can keep establishing a good and stable peering with other ISPs all the time. The updater can run by p2p, they can still update the game even the entire europe submarine cable has been cut. Or some crowdy 3rd world countries did not want to spend too much money on international ISP peering, or the demand just way too big. Build a new submarine cable will cost 5~10 years and billions of dollars. Then those people will have problem login that only one DCS master server. peering go around different geometry cause connection unstable or laged out. And it already became "mandatory" in some countries. THey may have over 100mb FTTH, but the ISP just unable to peering with europe or other piece of the earth, where ISP DCS master server hosted. It can be fine just like steam. If ED has more gateway servers or backup domin host in other side of earth or .. But it can't be with single master server.

  9. Thanks for the reply zhukov. Sorry for my english term that may cause misleading. I will try rearrange this. Most game use different level of texture format. midmap. and LODs. There is a factor/array of value controls that in what distance draw what level of models. ( like in DCS they have graphic.cfg.lua low/mid/high.lua in view folder) In the range not every thing is max detailed. Only in certain distance the high res LODs and texture will kick in. And The GPU was able to handle more low level LODs and low res textures. However as i said the current visibility setting is very simple. If i set range to mid or low something. THe engine will CUTOFF rendering all low level LODs at certain distance even at higher alt. WHich GPU was able to handle much more low level structures. But in this case GPU has no work to do. If it set to above high. everything include detailed LODs was mutiplied by that original factor. It looks fine at higher atl but may cause FPS issue at lower attidude or ground (too much high level LOD ground models+low level lods). There is always a way optimize those different level of LODs and textures.
  10. The current visibility setting is very simple.With fixed distance values and factors. If user set up for higher altitude ( for VR or 4K screen). When it close to the ground. GPU can not handle too much high level lods kicks in. Which casue FPS shuttering. However if user adjust their settings at lower altitude for fine FrameRate it (also looks fine at atl since the view angle is shallow). If they fly @higher altitude, the terrain graphic looks bald and lack of details. The render engine cutoff all low level lods equally at certain distance. And in such condition,the GPU is almost idle and not very efficient. I wonder that can ED add a distance factor control by camera elevation/altitude, dynamic adjust speed tree, Terrain LevelFormap and LOD render distance. So the player can see more&further low level lod at higher altitude. And still able to get good FPS at ground or close air altitude.
  11. But 3rd party company is not. they have to considerer themselves in host country. On the topic is still about J-11A. At least it is not likely that can be done in deka side. If J-11 clickable would be a thing. ED has to do this themselves. Or other group like in NATO/neutral side.
  12. windows NTFS support /hard/symbol/junction link symbol link and junction link are able to cross different partition/HDD and even network. You can create a folder junction _download to somewhere else.   14. F2 should be direct value from game engine value. the true value. Under service limitation, the simed instrument/gauge value(speed/atl/aoa etc..) should be slightly different Did you cal the baro when at ground? Did they really simulate the sensor and sensor limitation. maybe/ maybe not. at least not under extreme condition( like break service ceiling too much), still remain extreme accuracy, way too accuracy.
  15. 如果是updater.exe的证书过期只会弹框不会生成日志。如果SSL证书交换被阻断就会在日志里提示这个错误。或者主服务器挂了。 现在错误是否依然重现?
  16. From headset hardware aspect. It wont. Its all about graphic chip&driver. Render API. VR SDK. Game engine. Thats the key drives any kind of monitors. People must find a way to optimized from lower level.
  17. 首先关联性不代表因果性。可能是幸存者差异。 你需要重复复现这种异常情况(“电脑的安全网络模式下可以正常下载”,“其余的情况一直出现这个问题“)才可以下推论。假设这个推论成立,那么问题很可能来自本机的LSP或者filter驱动。 而且也不贴一下log日志。 大多数情况可能就是单纯的网络问题或者SSL TCP状态攻击(aka 某墙随机或者运营商)

  20. trk就这样,只能保证玩家和玩家在宏观上正常。 trk只记录关键点,操作点,不是精确飞行轨迹,剩下引擎基于输入重新运算结果。相当于“重新演绎”没办法“完全复原”。各种随机因素都会破坏trk回放。经可能拆成小的片段,确保trk可以复原单个动作。后期慢慢剪吧。。 切换成SFM(简单飞控)估计会好一点但是SFM可能没办法展现一些飞行特性的细节部分。 有人尝试用两台电脑一台开服从服务端录制客户端的内容。服务端可能只记录轨迹(我不确定啊,i你自己可以试试。

  25. MSAA in DCS DS always has problem.No matter your GPU or CPU spec. And i doubt what cpu is strong enough boost GPU 100% at all time 1080p.Supersamping 1.5 acturlly works pretty well by far.
