  1. Changed the pagefile settings from the min-max (max was set to the recommended setting) to system managed but DCS still crashed.
  2. Not sure what this is, I've never manually set anything with it. I have 167GB free on my drive.
  3. I just crashed loading into the AV-8B instant mission "Conventional Bombing" I've actually been experiencing loads of crashes in DCS since 2.5 released in the beta and release builds.
  4. Just preformed a clean up. It removed some files. I also don't play with any mods. Here's the new log
  5. Ah, didn't realise it archived.
  6. I can't attach a log zip because it says the folder is 13MB when it's not: https://i.imgur.com/pr8Gcuk.png Anywhere else I can upload the zip?
  7. Currently, when you turn a knob, it will move your cursor. I find this very unintuitive and I feel it would be better if the mouse stayed place when doing the turning motion.
  8. Mavericks are working with the Harrier. They're a bit convoluted compared to the A-10C: (watch all of Redkite's videos on the Harrier, btw)
  9. Is the Viggen kneeboard broken for anyone? It doesn't show the map for the waypoints on Nevada nor Caucasus, it just displays "Missing texture" and the imported pages are just blank/see through. [edit] now the P-51 is broken. Is this app not working properly anymore?
  10. Oh no, sorry. I meant to say the training thing in the Vaicom keyword editor. I assume that's for Vaicom to better understand my exact voice and accent? When I hit Finish, am I meant to do anything afterwards, or has Vaicom saved what it learned? It or the windows speech engine is clearly designed for a southern English accent (despite Microsoft claiming it's "British" English), so it has issues picking up my Irish voice, and my only solution I've found is to go word by word pronouncing them in my accent. As you can tell, this lengthy and tedious and I'm just paranoid Vaicom isn't saving it. [edit] Does anyone know an alternative to Windows default speech recognition tool? It's bloody awful for a non-English person, honestly. Google and Amazon speech recognition is leagues better and I feel like I'm wasting my time "training" windows mess of a speech tool.
  11. One thing I'm not 100% sure on is the training. I went through word by word saying them out loud and then once I was done, I hit finish. Do I have to do anything after that, or has it saved what it learned from that session? I ask because it's quite tedious training this and I just want to be sure it's saving all of it.
  12. I play in VR and mainly fly the Harrier. Loading into any mission just 9 times out of 10 crashes the game. I can't play it until this is sorted.
  13. I was able to get this fixed. I had textures set to low but once I changed them to high, it sorted it all out.
  14. VR - https://i.imgur.com/TVO7BOn.jpg Non-VR - https://i.imgur.com/DmI2lMY.jpg Both are from the VFR landing quick mission As soon as the missions started, I took the screenshots so I haven't touched anything in the Cockpit, not even the INS dial.
  15. This is a fantastic program. Thank you so much for making this.
  16. I really wish there was an axis function for the VR zoom. In TrackIR, I use the friction wheel (the grey, non-functioning one) on the Warthog throttle to control my zoom axis, I would love this for VR, plus it would save me an extra button. I know this would make some people sick/disoriented, but I *think* I could handle it - I haven't had VR sickness in over a year.
  17. Ah, ok. I'll give their email a go. Cheers.
  18. Anyone know where to get the Warthog Flight Stick adaptor in the UK? I can't find it on any of WSP's European sites and getting it shipped from the US to the UK will be about 60$ based on the sites calculation.
  19. Hi, the save function doesn't seem to work for me. I got one confirmation message at the start of the mission that it had created a save file, but any other saves I make during the mission aren't saved. Whenever I open the save file, it only takes me back to the start of the mission. This is the same for the autosave as well, in that it takes me back to the start of the mission. I installed the mod through JSGME.
  20. My father was an RUC police officer that spent many hours in the co-pilot seat of Army Air Corps Gazelle's "sight seeing" around NI. He says it was the best part of his career. He's also been transported around in Lynx's and says Army Air Lynx pilots are insane with the stuff they pull off. I let him try out the Gazelle on DCS and he says (jokingly) that if he had known it was that sensitive to fly, he probably wouldn't have jump in them in real life.
  21. I'd love to see some new developer made missions on the same caliber as the campaign. I'm finding the user made mission pool a bit lacking in content (I guess because the Gazelle's still newish).
  22. The Gazelle is very sensitive on the rudders, unless you add a huge amount of saturation and curves, then you'll rarely be going more than half-way with them. So you may find the Gazelle much more difficult to fly without rudder pedals compared to the Huey, Mi8 and Ka-50. But you probably should just get a pair of rudders anyway if you take flight sims seriously. Trust me, having a good set of pedals does make a difference - even for planes. I do recommend the Gazelle anyway. I personally find it way more "fun" in the traditional sense than the other Heli's as it's much faster and more agile than them. Also, the campaign is excellent.
  23. Even more surprising is that a Chinese mod came out just a few days after the Gazelle's release.
  24. If go to the axis commands in the controls menu, you can change the curvature and saturation of each of the axis controls. Just click on a control and hit the axis tune button at the bottom. I personally haven't done anything to the X/Y saturation, but I've added a slight +curvature to pitch and roll to smooth out some of the input. It'll probably require a little bit of trial and error to find what works for you.
  25. This fixed it, didn't even notice it was set to 16:10. Thanks.
