I was unaware unil yesterday that DCS had a problem with playing ".trk" files. I first noticed that when I replayed a F14 file that it was nothing like my flight! Played it back several times and each time it was different!!! Saw in post from some time back this has bee a problem for a long time! What does ED say to this problem??? Have yet to find any response!!!:mad:

tracks Just flew a a2g mission in F14, and saved the track. played it back 3 times, different each time. mission bombed a line of truck on rw no problem. First time played \. missed trucks, second time hit trucks, but crashed just past rw, third crashed shor to tgts?:cry: f14g.trk

Link 16 is a useful addition to DCS. As I can detect, at present, the link will only connect a/c with other a/c. The RW link also connect to other platforms, like ships. Is this planned in the future? Would be great to have a "RADAR picket" DD or just the CV's air/surface radar on the net!

noticed also that a TU 95 that was destroyed remains reported on SA screen with "F/F" boxed. unbox it goes away, rebox comes back( not displayed on own ship radar)

Attempting to learn the data link system in the bird. I use the 'sensor control switch to select the mfd I have the SA screen displayed. Then I select A2A mode and a AIM 120. Seems like I can't reselect the mfd with SA anymore??? Keeps changing the radar mode?? What am I missing. Watched the youtube several time. must miss something. :helpsmilie:

Has anyone developed a tactic to kill an SA10 with HARMS? Have a flight of 4 FA18's with 4 Harms each and all HARMS are killed with no damage to SA 10 site???? :noexpression:

HARM will NOT ever give range info! There is no way it can determine that, it is has a bearing only detector. If you want to get as estimate of distance, turn to put the site on wingtip and see how fast the bearing change. faster change closer range. Could also be used with A2G radar(when we get it)!

I notice I can choose either M50 or PGM ammo in the pit. what is loaded by default? is there a difference in the sim of the two ammo's?:helpsmilie:
