  1. Hi, Something I wonder in the F86. For a cold and dark start, we have to hit home key once to put the throttle to off to on position, then home again to put it to idle. The warthog throttle has an off/on position that works fine for that, except it works just once. Means if I start the sim from the off position in the throttle, I can put it to on but then not to idle. I still have to push the home key at least once. Either first to put it from off to on, then I use the throttle to put it to idle, or I use the throttle once, but then I have to push the home key once to put it to idle. To stop the engine I do not have the issue, as pushing it to the off position does the same as in the sim. So do you have a tip to have it work as intended? The only workaround I found is to use the twin lever of the warthog throttle, so I use first the left one, so it puts the engine to on, then the right one, to put it to idle. Thanks
  2. Thanks. I answered in my other thread... :) Oh and btw I have a cold start in my training menu, and I also found a cold start training in the user made missions. Anybody tried the two and what's the difference?
  3. Thanks. Just bought it. Though I'll first learn to fly this, cold start, take-off land and use weapons before starting that. I'm weird at using weapons especially rockets or bombs. Cannot well understand how to attack a target on ground with dive bombing, I always miss my target :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  4. Does it overwrite the existing caucasus? Or does it allow to have the original caucasus then another map for vietnam? Thanks
  5. I love this plane. As also I'm a big fan of buck danny comics and in a few ones he flew those. If I have a drawback about this plane is the lack of a campaign or even missions. Just a few missions provided it and that's all... I want campaigns for the sabre :)
  6. Hi, I bought the sabre long ago, when it was on beta. So, beta means unfinished, that is ok. Now, the sabre is finished, right? Years after, still no campaign available in the module? Not even payware ones? Just those little missions provided with? Belsimtek lost interest of this plane? Thanks
  7. And I noticed as well a dynamic campaign with DCE. :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. Something I wonder about WW2 carrier ops. The fact there has been dedicated planes for carrier ops in WW2 means had a hook as well to stop at this time as well? Though to take-off they didn't have catapult so the deck was long enough to take-off, but not long enough to land without a hook? Or si it because it is easier to take-off as you can start from the edge of the deck, whereas when you land you do not always catch the edge? Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  9. Or I could land on a carrier with my huey :) Will be easier :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  10. The huey is what I'm flying nowadays. Starting again after months not playing. With full size cyclic and the warthog throttle as collective it works fine. I'm on the third UN mission :) And in VR of course... Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  11. I'm not really into Russian planes... More a western guy :) I even never tried the free SU included in DCS :) I was more into old planes like the saber and the WW2 warbords, helicopters as well, but I thought about getting a more modern plane as well... 12. 15$ the F15, though indeed with bonus credits it falls down to 11$. Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  13. Indeed in the movie with pappy boyington, they were ground based. :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. Anybody has plan to make a dynamic campaign for the F18 when it will be out? Thanks

    F-15E?

Wonder why we have a F15E layer model in the DCS menu if there is no F15E :)
  16. I'm seriously considering buying the F15 just because of that campaign (in all the available dynamic campaign I own no required planes, and this is the one I think I would prefer... maybe... will have to check more the other ones ^^) What I wonder is, is there some kind of F15 tutorial missions somewhere so I can learn to fly it? :) Thanks
  17. Hi, For those who own this beast, do you think it worth it, even without the pro flight model and the lack of a clickable cockpit? Is it considered as a standalone dcs module that we can use on all dcs maps with all kind of missions? Does it have a 6dof cockpit and handles VR like all other dcs modules? I'm still wondering if I will buy this one or got more money and get the F18. As the F18 could also be used as an air to ground attack fighter and has carrier operations which could be fun... I'm surprised when I saw in a video that the F15 is still an active aircraft beside its age... Are there a lot of available missions/campaigns for the F15? Thanks. 18. If I'm only interested in the F15, does FC3 brings something more than just getting the F15 module? Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  19. I prefer the corsair than the avenger because of the wings. More sexy :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  20. IA is not able to take-off with fuel and weapons? (also, will you consider doing the same thing for the upcoming F18 ? With naval operation and carrier this could be awesome)
  21. Jima project? What's this? Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  22. Can't wait :) How is leatherneck in plane making? Never got one of theirs. I just own the huey, the sabre, the Mustang, and the spitfire. Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  23. A corsair? I want it. Pappy boyington? Love this :) Hope they will also add WW2 official carriers then if they add naval planes... And naval missions and campaigns. Even considering maybe Normandy is not the best map for naval ops :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  24. Hi, Just watched a video about battle of midway and then I thought that could be great to have naval based aircrafts designed to land and take-off on carriers. On WW2 carriers of course not modern ones. BTW do we have WW2 carriers already? Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  25. Indeed that is what I do not understand. Any serious race simmer owns a force feedback wheels, they are the norm, and non force feedback wheels are just cheap low end gear. For flight sim this is the opposite. There is no good force feedback stick, they are all old, and high end sticks are not force feedback. There are only a few high end force feedback flight sim gears like some yokes, but they are very very expensive... :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
