  1. But the saab viggen has a centered mounted stick. FSSB sticks are more suited for side mounted sticks, right? And I don't know if I want pressure or cam sticks, as I never used a pressure stick for now. Just that, for star citizen for instance, I'll go the dual stick route for sure, and it is easier to enter my cockpit with side mounted sticks ^^
  2. Those pedals seem fine. Now waiting for him to answer my mail for cost, shipping, payment, things like that ^^ Though I'm a bit worried about customs, as russia is not in european union...
  3. Never heard about those. Have a link? Ok, I found some links, and a mail, I sent him a mail to have more infos. Though, according to the photo, seems those kind of pedals move on a rotation basis more than a push/pull but I may be wrong. Thanks for the info, now the MFG has another competitor in my mind. The slaw are too expensive, but the MFG and slaw seems to be in my price range
  4. In fact I still don't have a first FSSB3, as I should spare 580 € for this ;) But ok, if they are crap, I'll not do this ^^ But you're wrong about the plates of the thrustmaster, as you could remove the half of the pedal and convert them in combat style. But yes I guess I'll continue waiting for my MFG ;) For now I have no pedal at all, which is a pain and prevent me from flying in DCS well ^^ Hope those combat plates will not be out in 6 months ;) Thanks for the advice
  5. Hi, Anybody tried those new thrustmaster pedals, and tell me how good (or bad) they are? I know they are plastic. Early 2016 I ordered MFG crosswind pedals, but with a note saying I'm waiting the combat plates before I'll buy them. Still waiting, as the combat plates are not ready yet... Sure, I could wait a bit more, but the thing is, I'm considering going the FSSB3 route sooner or later, and this costs money (450$ + 20% VAT for france + shipping for the base). I'm even considering the dual FSSB3 for star citizen, for instance, which will cost even more money... though I never tried a force sensitive stick before, unsure how it is... Though, wondering if I should drop my idea of the MFG, and get the thrustmaster one instead, if they are good enough, as they are cheaper and it will help me sparing money for FSSB3. Thanks
  6. So you mean the company who made jetseats disappeared and therefore the only available jetseats are the ones already produced? Let's hope the one we have will not go out of order then ;)
  7. What do you mean? They're still selling jetseats.
  8. lol yes about the real world experience in sci fi :) But then we just need the effects to be "cool" rather than "real" :) After all, all sci fi games and movies are not real, the piou piou of lasers in space is not real at all, there is no sound in space ^^ I find it too much of a hassle to remove the jetseat when not playing, I have tied it to my obutto cockpit with the straps, and I do not want to untie and tie the straps again everytime, so no, I keep the jetseat on my seat all the time :) Only issue I have with the jetseat is that the control panel does not work, but gametrix is aware of this, they say it is an issue with some computers with the english version and they're working on it. But we don't really need the control panel anyway, simshaker works just fine like that, and the jetseat works well even with the bug in the control panel...
  9. Keep the good work. I bought the simshaker sound module for when I used a buttkicker, though I near never used it as the buttkicker made too much noise. Now I use a gametrix 908 with your usual simshaker USB app, and this is wonderful. I wonder, you say you're not implementing elite dangerous because you lack data from the software, does it mean that if a sci fi simulation (like star citizen later on for instance) will provide such data, you may agree to add support for it? Thanks I find the motors a bit hard and even without using the vibration after hours on the seat I feel a bit of pain on my buttock :) Not that painful though, just a bit. So I would recommand maybe put a cushion on your seat when you're not going to use the vibration, for desktop use for instance :)
  10. Still waiting for the combat plates version to buy them... I want those MFG ^^ Flying without pedals is a pain ^^ Wonder how are the new thrustmaster ones ;)
  11. I managed to get an exchange for my defective warthog, so I'll get a new one in a few days. Guess in a few months I'll buy a gunfighter, and either sell my warthog, or maybe try to buy a left handed grip if I can find one, and use the gunfighter and warthog as a dual stick ^^ (though for space sims, not for dcs)
  12. So when will this new version be out? :) Something that could be great as well would be a standalone app, I mean one that does not require to have a copy in each dcs world version folder, and that let us choose if we want to launch the normal or alpha version ^^ So we would have only one dcs updater gui app to launch both versions... And thanks again for this wonderful utility ^^ PS: an idea would be also that when you click on "launch dcs" it automatically closes this GUI, not just minimizing it. Today I noticed I forgot to close it with multiple dcs world launches and I had several instances running...
  13. Also they are saying this is the first step to their hotas system... Could take some time though...
  14. I did. And now windows does not see the stick anymore :) About gunfighter, I saw that we will be able to replace the grip by the warthog one. Wonder what will be better between the gunfighter grip (that will be the one of the gladiator) and the warthog one... Wonder as well WHEN this gunfighter will be available...
  15. This one? http://www.vkb-sim.com.ar/gunfighter-mki-cjg9 Looks good, though I wonder how much it will cost :) Guess it will be more expensive than the warthog...
  16. So does it mean if someone is sending them a broken stick they just throw it to the trashcan? Maybe they just don't want to sell them, but unavailable...
  17. Thanks. Will try. There is no extension with such a collar? ^^ I would gladly buy a collar I could use to put my extension on ;) I wonder if we could not use a spare warthog part to get the collar from the stick and use it there. Wonder if this is possible to do that... Or wonder if this is possible to remove the collar from the stick and use it at the base of the extension instead of at the top... Edit: mmm does not seem the hole size will fit :)
  18. Will try, thanks. Not at home now, will do this on the week end. Will try to grip this with some tool to unscrew it. Strange because I don't remember screwing it that hard. Maybe playing with it screwed it a bit more...
  19. I thought about something. The stick has a collar, that prevents to have to twist the stick to untie it from the base. That would be great if extension makers could make such a collar to attach the extension to the base, that would make the process of unscrewing an extension much easier ^^
  20. Guess I have to remove the gimbal before removing the extension, because if I just twist the extension, the gimbal is turning and therefore the extension does not unscrew. :) So, you think I just broke the sphere, and not the whole gimbal? This is the sphere that is not solid?
  21. Though to purchase a new articulation sphere, I should be sure this is what is broken, and I should be able to remove the extension. What should I do? Untie all parts of the stick? How do I reach the articulation sphere? Guess I should untie that, then get the sphere in my hand and unscrew the extension. How do I reach that? By the bottom of the stick? This is the first time I have such an issue with a stick, this stick is not very sturdy if we could twist it by mistake and then break the articulation sphere... Thanks
  22. Because Amazon don't care about what happens if you send the product back in less than 30 days after purchase :) They don't even know why it is not working well... So now I should find out how to unscrew this extension :)
  23. Ok then it is broken. As the stick is quite new I'll send it back to amazon. Though before that I have to unscrew the extension. Any idea on how I can do that? As when I turn the extension, the stick twists, and turn, and the extension does not turn. Thanks
  24. Hi, I have an issue with my warthog stick. I have put a warthog extension, then I wanted to remove it to try another one. But was unable to untie the extension, and when I turned hard enough (was still not able to remove the extension) the thing the extension is tied to, turned as well. And now the stick works eratically, and does not manage to track my moves well anymore. Is my stick broken, or is it fixeable? Guess I'll have to dismount my stick, remove screws and so on to be able to remove the extension, unsure how to do this... Thanks
