  1. I'm seriously considering buying the F15 just because of that campaign (in all the available dynamic campaign I own no required planes, and this is the one I think I would prefer... maybe... will have to check more the other ones ^^) What I wonder is, is there some kind of F15 tutorial missions somewhere so I can learn to fly it? :) Thanks
  2. Hi, For those who own this beast, do you think it worth it, even without the pro flight model and the lack of a clickable cockpit? Is it considered as a standalone dcs module that we can use on all dcs maps with all kind of missions? Does it have a 6dof cockpit and handles VR like all other dcs modules? I'm still wondering if I will buy this one or got more money and get the F18. As the F18 could also be used as an air to ground attack fighter and has carrier operations which could be fun... I'm surprised when I saw in a video that the F15 is still an active aircraft beside its age... Are there a lot of available missions/campaigns for the F15? Thanks. 3. If I'm only interested in the F15, does FC3 brings something more than just getting the F15 module? Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  4. I prefer the corsair than the avenger because of the wings. More sexy :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  5. IA is not able to take-off with fuel and weapons? (also, will you consider doing the same thing for the upcoming F18 ? With naval operation and carrier this could be awesome)
  6. Jima project? What's this? Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  7. Can't wait :) How is leatherneck in plane making? Never got one of theirs. I just own the huey, the sabre, the Mustang, and the spitfire. Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. A corsair? I want it. Pappy boyington? Love this :) Hope they will also add WW2 official carriers then if they add naval planes... And naval missions and campaigns. Even considering maybe Normandy is not the best map for naval ops :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  9. Hi, Just watched a video about battle of midway and then I thought that could be great to have naval based aircrafts designed to land and take-off on carriers. On WW2 carriers of course not modern ones. BTW do we have WW2 carriers already? Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  10. Indeed that is what I do not understand. Any serious race simmer owns a force feedback wheels, they are the norm, and non force feedback wheels are just cheap low end gear. For flight sim this is the opposite. There is no good force feedback stick, they are all old, and high end sticks are not force feedback. There are only a few high end force feedback flight sim gears like some yokes, but they are very very expensive... :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  11. Haven't you seen the central console? :) But missions is not about plane complexity. Just about the designer making missions. And seems belsimtek didn't care about making more available missions... Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  12. They made a lot of instant action for the F18. I have a lot less for the huey :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  13. Force feedback? There are people flying with a force feedback stick? There is about no force feedback stick on the market, they are all old, and high end sticks are not force feedback. Indeed that would be great if high end stick manufacturers will make force feedback sticks :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. On my computer I have a lot of tray icons. As I have both simshaker for aviators and the one for wheels :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  15. And what about the beta version? I never checked about the sound module as I have a gametrix. But so the sound module is automatically removed in automatic updates? Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  16. If we are using the beta we would need to uninstall beta to install this one? Though I'll maybe stay with beta :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  17. Never heard about this one. How old is this game? I guess no VR support? I need VR in a flight sim :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  18. My bad, he is American :) a really great comic though :) Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  19. But we still have first era planes flying now. Not a lot but a few, isn't it? Sure usually the engine is not the same. Or maybe those are planes from between the two wars... I want a sopwith camel and I'll call myself snoopy. And I'll be shot down by the red baron... Sorry if you don't get it. This is a Belgium comic I think... 20. Really that small map for rof flying circus? Unbelievable :) Sure with the speed of those planes it could take time to cross the map, but... Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  21. Hey this is amazing. This is like the red bull air race, especially we do that in other planes as the ones used in the red bull air race are not available, and in other places as we do not have those places :) I have been in tthe red bull air race in cannes, and this was amazing. I'm not a good enough pilot to compete, but I'll surely download the tracks to have fun, practice, and to crash a lot ^^ So thanks for all this ^^ I wonder, can we download example tracks to practice? Also, in Cannes I found it interesting to see there was a manoeuver you have to do, like an himmelman, at the end of a turn you had to climb, roll, then come down again and go through the start / finish pylons. Is there a track there where you have to do this? Or those are just pure slalom? I have seen in the san diego race that you have to climb and turn but seems this is not a return like in Cannes red bull air race. Look at the start here:
  22. When I was young there were a lot of military flight sims. Seems now there are not that many. Seems people lack the time needed to play that :) A bit like role playing games. When I was young they were really hardcore. Now they are more designed for the casual gamer. Of course nowadays flight sims are better than they were in the past. But there are a lot less. And they miss features like the dynamic campaigns we had. I never played falcon 4. Did it have a dynamic campaign? Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  23. Hi, Interesting module, will have to take a look. Though your notepad stuff and accept result means if we play in VR we have to remove headset between two missions, right? :) Thanks Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
  24. Hi, Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no such thing as a really dynamic campaign in DCS isn't it? Missions are kinda independant. And those are missions, with a start and an end. Years ago, but really years ago, I played a game called euro fighter or something like that which featured a dynamic campaign system. Means there was a war, with dynamic generated missions, and an output depending of your results. You could have intercept missions, bombing ones, and so on. If for instance there was a mission where enemy bombers are going to attack one of your airfield and you fail intercepting them, then the airfield couldn't be used anymore until it is repaired, this kind of thing. A lot of dynamic generated missions on a dynamic campaign, some missions took by the Ai, some by you. With a dynamic map of what is happening. Would be great to have such a feature in DCS. Especially as in DCS I have all the available maps, but except if I create my own missions there is no available missions on other maps beside the free caucasus one... Thanks. 25. Hi, Now that we have modern era planes, world war 2 ones, and a WWII map, something interesting as well would be to get world war I planes, like the sopwith camel or the fokker. This was the era of great aces. Funny though what we know mostly German ones, like the red baron. Or the famous himmelman who gives his name to a famous aerial maneuver current pilots still use. The era of planes without great instruments and a focus of close dogfighting. Planes easy to understand but hard to master, with slow speed and a focus of good flying skills. The kind of plane who can land and take-off from about anywhere. No need for a runway of some sort. And no need for another map for that, the Normandy 1944 one will work. The only flight sim I know of for this era is rise of flight. Though it is a bit old now and it does not support VR, so it is a no go for me. That would be great to have such planes in DCS, so we could say DCS will handle all era planes. Thanks... Envoyé de mon SM-G955F en utilisant Tapatalk
