Maybe it's time to DCS updater have this option: forced encryption, to protect download speeds from ISP traffic shaping, like bittorrent, utorrent and qBittorrent.

Maybe we need in DCS torrent encryption, my dl speed with updater are very crap for years, with bittorrent my speeds are very fast, i always enable torrent encryption.

I have no problem with my internet connection with regular downloads and torrents, just DCS. Imagine download the entire 200Gb DCS, 2 months to complete :megalol:

My internet is good for a third world country (50 mb/s), my torrents using bittorrent are very fast, even downloading from another country. For years, my only problem with slow speeds is DCS world updater, 2005 download experience.

The elephant in the room: DCS World update speed. It's time to ED improve DCS download speeds, 6 hours downloading this update and counting... Now: 300 kb/s upload 100 kb/s download http is a joke: 35 kb/s

thanks for the update! but is almost impossible to download deltas, always freezes after download 100mb of deltas, at very low speeds (70 kb/s). After freeze, i have to cancel and start again, downloading in steps. After 3 hours, i downloaded 50% of deltas. Maybe is time to move deltas to torrent

I decided to buy I9 9900KF + 32gb DDR4 3733Mhz CL17+ Z390 Aorus Elite + NVME Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 1TB. My VGA: 1080TI. I9 9900KF is cheaper than Ryzen 7 3800x in my country. My 2011 setup is I7 2700K @4.8Ghz + 16GB DDR3 1866Mhz

Is anyone using the new Ryzen 3900x? What is the core utilization of this CPU? Which one should I choose for DCS now: I9 9900K or 3900X?

This old I5 is your problem, even at 5Ghz this cpu will bottleneck your 2080 very hard.

Which is best for DCS at 1440? 9900K ou Ryzen 9 3900x? In my country, 9900K + decent Z390 is cheaper than 3900X + entry level X570

Very bad performance for me too (1080Ti) At normandy i get 90+ fps with Mustang and 40fps with A-8

Today my I7 2700K @4.8Ghz hit 95% all cores at nevada. He can't handle my 1080TI anymore. I'll probably buy the Ryzen 7 3700x 8/16 + 32GB DDR4 3200mhz in October.
