  1. A Luftwaffe or RNAF scheme one would also be interesting as they were looking for a replacement for their mostly anti-ship/air-superiority Starfighters non? Also here is another Fictional Danish scheme (replacements for their upgraded Drakens perhaps?): My god there are so many possibilities. :D
  2. I found some more fictional liveries by the same artist! If anyone could help me identify him/her, that would be great as I love fictional aircraft liveries, and I've actually found these pictures from said artist all over the aviation community. For instance, I found these Spanish Air Force JA-37 on Pintrest: As per OziRekt's request: Also found a RNoAF Fictional Scheme: Austrian Air Force/Österreichische Luftstreitkräfte Scheme Theres an amazing album of these pictures here: http://s233.photobucket.com/user/Scorchi0/media/Profiles/Viggen/JASDF_1.jpg.html (Just be sure to scroll through them!)
  3. Very true. However if I'm correct, isn't the sps-121 pod supposed to only jam Hawk sites? Not aircraft radars?
  4. Very true. In fact the Semi-active seekers in DCS don't even operate like the real ones, rather they just mimic the performance of the real ones, making it look like its working as per the real thing...Won't stop me from being hopeful that they'll work something out with more developed EW warfare and possibly even chaff corridors.
  5. After seeing plenty of cockpit footage of takeoff and landing in Viggens, I think its either the runways in the Caucasus region being made of those concrete panels, or LNS just wants to make another module shake  But I don't think it is that bumpy irl, and they'll possibly give us an option to adjust the shakiness.
  6. Haha glad others agree with me on these fictional skins. I'm sure someone will make a CF-12A Thunderbolt and post it if the Viggen gets a skin competition!
  7. That would've been badass! But the RAAF decided to get the "pig" as it's main strike plane...which I'm fine with as the Aardvark is amongst my favorite planes of all time. :pilotfly:
  8. I have an interesting one for all of you talented skin makers out there! :D The artist also painted an airfix model too  http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=294&t=38737 Most are RAF but there are some more fictional ones in here for the RCAF, and USAF: http://s233.photobucket.com/user/Scorchi0/media/Profiles/Viggen/USAF_SEA2.jpg.html I mean hey, the A10C has a lot of fictional paint schemes default even! Why not this ol' bird? :music_whistling:
  9. Really cool! It makes the pod a great option as it enhances not only survivability, but situational awareness... :shocking:
  10. :shocking: Yep! About time to figure out how to use it  Is that custom made?! Because I would definitely like to have that. :shocking:
  11. Found a somewhat recently published video of Ja-37Ds. It demonstrates the over-wing vapor effects and canard vortices very well. Actually reminds me somewhat of the Hornet/Growler Ball videos :D
  12. That would be great of LNS :D Bit of an off-topic thing here but related to HOTAS and AJS: X52 Pro user here and I'm wondering if anyone could help me make the mini-stick on the throttle be a substitute for the Viggen's left-hand pressure-sensitive stick. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
  13. I've been "beating around the bush" in this situation, by using the update coalition mod. It lets you change the coalitions without having to make a new damn mission!
  14. Wow! Really cool to meet a guy who wrote/typed most of a Wikipedia page on the pods :D It is unfortunate to hear that the system will not allow us to tell if a semi-active missile has been launched on us :( but I'm sure we'll figure out ways around that ;) The jamming modes sound interesting to try out against various radars too! Bit off-topic from the jammer pods, but do you think we'll get the BOL-300/BOP/A counter-measure launchers mounted on the weapon pylons on viggens? Here is a picture of it on a Ja-37's inboard wing pylon: And here is one on display: Thanks for your time ;)
  15. Indeed! I'm trying to find footage of the swedish cartridge system working...I saw a video ONCE about it, and am working to find it.
  16. Okay...thanks for the clarification!
  17. It would probably have problems getting past the verification/validation thingy for many servers... Thanks for your input :D
  18. Oh my god that would be VERY cool for any aircraft harboring a data-cartridge system! I would probably pay up-to $10.00 for a software dedicated to that, as long as it could set waypoints of different types ofc... :D
  19. I don't agree too much about them showing up on the map, rather I'd just like to be able to tell the bearing from each waypoint to the next one, and how far I must go to reach it. Thus navigation can still be allowed to be a bit challenging at times...but my opinion is probably because I love navigating.
  20. I was thinking the exact thing ;) https://audiojungle.net/item/80s-trailer/13615922?s_rank=1
  21. Yes, this is definitely a good suggestion that would work for a flight, but everyone would have to be in voice comms...I suppose a combined arms JTAC/GCI could place down markers on thee F10 map of where to get each of the waypoint's coordinates...The practicality of my suggestion is definitely questionable, and certainly not a final solution. Thanks for the feedback!
