  1. (Ofc with less fighter and more blowing stuff up from tree-top level ^^)
  2. You bet! I wanna feel like these guys:
  3. I will never doubt even for a second that LNS has nothing BUT respect for it's customers considering what a good community this is and how much positive and honest feedback we give them. If they have problems fixing the license problem I doubt its their fault. They're busting their a**s off trying to polish-up the AJS for us, at least 50% of the community is sucking them off for the tomkitty, and you expect this somewhat small but hugely dedicated team to put even more focus into a problem that I'd imagine isn't even their fault...k den... Just give them a little more time okay? I'm sure they're trying to fix the problem as we speak. :)
  4. Perhaps the TILS system will be enabled by spawning a special vehicle or structure using the ME at an airfield (an option to spawn all of these at every airfield automatically would probably be in order. But this would allow any good mission-designer to make any road that he/she sees fit to be an airfield...an airfield! Structures like FOBs and road-side hangars could become place-able structures and some really cool re-arming scenarios could be generated too! Either that or they just make the system compatible with the default airfields :P
  5. Okay... 1: Will the RB-75T be zoomable? 2: If we're talking about a possible non-historical armament option...what do you think it could be? (Possibly something hugely un-expected like a SEAD missile?)
  6. Finished the manual and was a great read. I'll have to try my best to drill the procedures and HUD symbology until release. ;) I do have two questions though: 1. I saw in videos and read documentation about the BK-90 and as far as I know it's submunitions can include a somewhat wide array of active and passive mines, also KB-44 for soft/lightly armored targets and STABO for anti-runway strikes. Yet the manual said we'll have a BK-90 loaded with MJ1 (HE submunitions) and one with MJ2 (AP proximity submunitions). I'm fine with these two munitions as I think they'll be more useful in DCS anyway because most of the other munitions (Used in the German MW-1 and non-Swedish DWS-39/BK-90) would require a vehicle to drive over said munitions, rather than being able to flat-out attack an area as soon as the glide-dispenser reaches the target. Is this because the Swedish Air Force doesn't use cluster munitions due to Sweden's involvement with the CCM (Convention on Cluster Munitions)? Thus BK-90s in the Hellenic Air Force can use the munitions I mentioned earlier (MUSA, MUSPA, KB-44, STABO, and MIFF) EDIT: The DWS-39 (A.K.A. BK-90) was a submunition dispenser built in a collaboration between a German arms manufacturer, other European nations, and also monitored and assisted by the USA. It was tested by an F16, Viggen, and later the Gripen. It could also be mounted on the Eurofighter Typhoon. All DWS-39s could mount the same submunitions as the German MW-1(MUSA, MUSPA, KB-44, STABO, and MIFF). However Sweden opted for a different submunition to be in the dispenser. I'll quote from Wikipedia: 2. Will we receive versions of the 120kg Spräng/ÖvnBomber (HE/Practice Bombs) that are aerodynamically retarded with a drag chute for very low altitude attacks? (It was mentioned in the manual that the bombs could be fitted with a chute for this purpose) Thanks again for the great reading! Ice_Cougar (Kingfisher in-game)
  7. Also, isn't the green maverick an RB-75T? They're either a placeholder for the 75T in the form of AGM-65D (which I doubt), or they're the RB-75T! :D I think its the 75T...The paint trim is definitely different from an AGM-65D
  8. Almost done reading the manual and got super excited for the BK-90, when I noticed that we finally got our sneak-peek of it on the LNS Facebook page. :D
  9. Anyone else notice? Under the wings!? :smilewink:
  10. Indeed :) Wonderful pics of the Di and SH cockpits!
  11. I'm so angry that I'm at school while everyone is shoving money into the CD port when I can't
  12. :megalol: Oh my god they got rid of the video
  13. I concur with both of you. Thanks for the comments!
  14. Gah! Figured. Check out the first comment of the thread for the links and their instructions
  15. BTW guys and gals, please tell me if the links work or not. If they don't, here are the two: Go to 9:18 ^ ^ Go to 2:50 for the sound I was talking about as the pilot goes full-mil for the reverser, but at 4:10 I wonder if our AJS will sound like this externally? (BTW this video is amazing)
  16. Before I get started, LET ME BE CLEAR... I know LNS is working very diligently to kink-out as many bugs as they can before release, and everything we've seen so far about the AJS is subject to change. Thus, I will not criticizes them on the sound, or anything else we see thats inaccurate about the AJS so far. If anyone disagrees with me and shows any dis-respect for the team or the module (so far)...I kindly will ask you to leave. ;) Okay with that out of the way I was very curious about something. I am aware that there was the Viggens' engine was the Volvo RM8 (Yes I know that the Rolls-Royce Medway was the original candidate but that is besides the point). However there are two variants of the RM8 (As far as I know), the RM8A and the RM8B. As I recall the RM8A was used in AJ Viggens, it simply being a license-built P&W JT8D engine with modifications to the fan-blades and structure to better deal with the stresses of medium to low altitude sustained flight at high subsonic speeds, and a new fuel system for the combustion chamber and the Swedish-built selectable stage afterburner. The RM8B was mostly the same, however it had new fans, a new burner, and yet another fuel system. However it's biggest difference was the "Zero-stage" or "0-stage" (Quote from Wikipedia itself :P),"This led to a new fan-stage (the so-called "0-stage") was introduced, making the engine longer." I've brought this up because I not only want to know about what this new fan stage does, but I want to know if its the reason why "Jakt" Viggens seem to produce this...high-pitched buzzing sound mixed with a growl that I can only compare to the sound of a Fokker 100 taking off or a B707, and if it can be produced by an AJ's engine such as LNS'. (Hence the disclaimer at the top of the thread) Examples: Go to 9:18 ^ *EDIT* The sound in this video was likely because it was filmed inside an SK-60 ^ Go to 2:50 for the sound I was talking about as the pilot goes full-mil for the reverser, but at 4:10 I wonder if our AJS will sound like this externally? :D (BTW this video is amazing)
  17. I'm gonna have a lot of fun doing that with the BK-90s :D
  18. I understand what you've explained thanks to what I learned in chemistry in 10th grade :P Thanks for the explanation AND the translation!
  19. I have no clue as to which component/stage of the Hawk site itself is jammed, nor do I think its modeled that specifically in DCS. So your guess is probably better than mine.
