well there is a difference...in a Game its no problem if i screw up 9 out of 10 TOs. in real life it des make a difference, so long training is needed because you only get one life. Imagine you buy the game and can only play until you crash ;)

i also can confirm that reaching speeds over 700km/h are possible, even in level flight. it helps to be low on fuel and enemy fighters are breathing down your neck :)

well... i prefer PLAYING a game insetad of having Eyestrain. there are moments when playability should be more important than realism, otherwise why not make a Check to ensure you dont fly the Worthag beause the F5s stick has only 4 or 5 buttons + Hat. i wish i had a prePatch Cockpit-EDM file i could use ....

because i suck at spotting (Blind and noJoy are my most uses phrases) and adding those options would basicly prevent me from playing. And i cant afford fancy VR equipment. bevor you say "oh but its on just one server", maybe its my most liked server which all of the sudden desides to restrict. no thanks, dont restrict my Visuals just because someone descide to buy a fancy VR equipment

this is a surefire way to keep me of a server. Anything that fiddls with my ViewSettings makes me quit right away...

sadly all problems you mentioned are DCS and not related to a specific server...so ED needs to fix that...

i like swinging the pendulum back into a serious direction after that fitting picture :-D maybe we can have the discussion again when ED delivers a realistic/usable concept for spotting "stuff". So instead of implementing a switch i would rather see them investing thier seemingly tight development time to improve the spotting system ...

i dont use TrackIR or a (good)HOTAS....so...should there an option to restrict those so i am not at a disadvantage?

not on Servers that use IC. If you just want to play with friends you can choose not to use IC and it might work

@beam/video didn't the DCS.log show some error or anything regarding a problem on connecting?

you might have used the MSL or GUN Mode on the radar and forgot to Reset them

since you(an me too) allready bought the UH-01 and Updates dont bring in new money you can guess how high on the Priority list that feature is compared to releasing new Aircraqft (which bring in fresh money)

+1 also: a2a-missles seem to miss way more often with this patch as in going of to one side suddenly even with a cold and "inRange" target in more or less stable flight

you can be sure they will NOT release any form of Beta/preOrder while a sale is going on. Because then you wouldnt be tempted to buy all the old modules ;)
