the Cockpit lacks the Connectors the f15Cockpit has. if you turn your head around you see some text in the back, possible everything is jammed into one space
use
net.log("LogBookGui: Some helpfull text")
net.log("LogBookGui: Some variables:".. VAR .."x")
in your code, and then search in the dcs.log for LogbookGui you can even display variables.
you can also try
net.recv_chat(message[, int from=0])
to write yourself a Chatmessage, but never tried it
for example
03954.927 ERROR COCKPITBASE: Cockpit: avDevice: Cannot do Lua file : post_initialize, reason [string ".your_lua_file.lua"]:283: attempt to call method some error' (a nil value).
just search for LUA and/or ERROR
L-39 is what you are looking for. Works more or less bug free, has a nice flightmodel ,you also have the IFR-Hood to block out the outside.
and you even can play around with some basic weapons :)
if Time > Promised.Release.Date then
outrage()
elseif Time < Promised.Release.Date then
Beg(Faster.Release.Date)
else
Beg(Release.Date)
end
did not test the function, so there might be syntax errors.... ;)
of all games out thier, i consider DCS the one that dont need a demo. Because you can "test" the performance and general Gameplay with the free modules
seems like X,Z,Alt. (up/Down,Left/Right,Hight)
or X,Alt,Z... :)
you can Press LALT+Y(Z) on the F10-Map to switch Coordinatsystem until you get 'Meters'
is there a List of Buttons/Gauges that are Synced (correctly) in DualSeat?
because there was a confusion lately trying to teach the weapon usage in the L-39ZA.
you can lean Left in the Backseat and look at the Armament Panel but it appears that those buttons are not synced. Hence my question bevor i yell at the FrontSeat again :music_whistling:
Second question: anyone know what happens/who controls 'Buttons' that dont have have a dedicated Front/Backseat keybinding?
cheers
Nero
do you have an "open version", (even if its not working) of you code so people can take a look? or your whole project so one can just slam it into the mods folder
realsim argument:
Americans do it all the time with thier Spysatelites, Drones and...actual spys. Checking where stuff is bevor takeoff that is.
gameplay argument:
some people are good at remembering stuff, others have good at dogfighting instincts. I for example have bad Situational Awareness and anything related to BFMs, but i enjoy doing preperation for a flight.
all it takes is an anouncement in "All Chat" that a GCI slot has been taken by "player X", and if he switches back to his "own" side or simply does nothing usefull everyone will see it. this will catch the "casual exploiters/cheater" which is enough.
Why? because you will have a hard time catching people who know what they are doing and trying will only inconvinience the rest of the players. Ask the Game industry how well thier anti-piracy-methods work and much they annoye the rest.
