look at tutorials for airstarts. theres actually 3 or 4 different methods. most of us only know the windmill procedure. I dont remember the rest, but those are important to learn but without a track I dont know what happened =/

from my understanding IRL distance isnt what matters - the radar and missile decide. when it flashes its on however I havent seen the flashing indicating pitbull. an old post by HB said that wasnt in yet

Theres supposed to be a counter, its not implemented On the TID theres the TTIP time to impact. thats the countdown on right. its supposed to start flashing when the Aim54 goes putbill. but thats missing from game now.

the rio cant select guns or sidewinders. The pilot can. Only ONE weapon can be used at a time The RIO cant select anything really, as far as A2A To be used. He CAN fire and interact with AIM 7 and AIM54 launches etc. AIM9 and guns is all pilot Only one weapon type at a time though

ive had some very odd situations as a RIO in MP where a hot trigger wouldnt appear no matter what we did. this is with a very experienced in game and real life navy pilot. Ill add a couple times him firing cleared it. otherwise I had to start yelling to ACM it

I know under mission templates it says 'dont use for AI' with ascend descend etc But doing offensive air , and some stuff is near impossible without it will the AI work in spite of that warning? lot more questions but I can probably work em out Im really liking it. just trouble finding dogfights in WW2 and Korea type maps

my hp ran dcs decent but to be honest Dcs is rreally a desktop game. dont listen to naysayers - you can beef a laptop up to you what you want. but itll never cool as much, or be as upgradeable, etc as a desktop. Id been using laptops for years and caved and spent 1800 on a really good desktop (imo) and DCS and flying games are a new world. I can see contacts FAR... etc etc I wish I had the money for VR truly but oh well. cant have everything, good luck edit Im glad its working! Dont be afraid to dive into mp, if you want a RIO or pilot PM me. I can RIO just as well. until you did the multicrew with the F14 you havent experienced true multiplayer. Ive MPd since 90s airwarrior and duke nukem and by far my best MP experiences are multicrew F14.

all cool Id rather have the module I console myself with DCS' track record videos can coome a long ways away but when they start doing announcements in game we're close. Id put money on before Xmas and ID put less money on before halloween But I think we're closer than we think Id kill for a F4 and A6 intruder with su24 to complement

I have to admit to similar. cowboy what are your settings? i didnt mess with them but came back after about 2 years. gave it a new chance. its a lot better than I thought. I still cant change my mind about the BS. a KA52 Id be more.. open to. but the hind will solve that fiix btw can I ask what happened to the minigun doorgun variant? did they delete with multicrew??

just discovered this im having issues too everything was fine, I used the rocker on the throttle for zoom view now the game doesnt see the rocker as a seperate key,,?

I really dig the mission but holy hell its tough! if youre not an ace with the miniguns youre toast! (and Im not a minigun ace!)

taken out with multicrew? I remember screens and stuff of a gazelle with a gunner with a minigun cant find it in game?

there you go man! the trick is you get a hover. you cant be moving too much in any direction, and hit it and it clicks right in. It gets easier with time of course

ah after just looking there is emergency 02 OP and Aeria - no I was NOT using that switch Again I think it wwas the DCS mission that said Aeria was the one who told me about changing the intake air flow which works at lower altitudes. otherwise not sure what your issue is, perhaps you should try the emergency o2 until you take off By the by - aeria my issue also wasnt the emergency 02 because it wouldnt run out in less than 5 min on the ground ;)

emergency o2? huh??? I didnt know there was o2. I think my issue was the DCS - at the time I was clear and still am sure I was using the knob everyone uses just below left hand side of canopy, then plugging in

this is total conjecture and nonsense but in my 6 years playing around with DCS I noticed they dont start with official updates ( they do vids ya etc but notes IN GAME?) no, they dont start that stuff up until release or EA is close F14, F16, F18 all stand out in my mind for this especially If I was wealthier Id bet 1000 barring unforseen disaster with the coding Oct 31st on the outside. XMAS almost for sure IMO BTW just saying theoretically if ED needed money to push this out the door sooner, I know I for one, and some others will sell kidneys ;)
