it definitely works with dcs you need to get help in the thread there. I havee several shelved f14 dcs campaigns

Ill add that whatever distance dcs draws my comp is new and most settings are maxed out. that also said I have tacview and some tracks and I can easily prove I spotted bandits at quite some distance. Esp in the MP flights with my usual pilot. i usually fire the phoenixes and I usually get first joy on the bandits when we get tto sparrow and sidewinder range

wait what do you mean I had it 'set to that'? I didnt set anything to allow me to see bandits at 20 miles its not evven an option. first allow for some hyperbole. maybe they were 15 miles. but most definitely, zoomed in from RIO seat in MP , Id see enemy planes EASILY. Since I changed to 4k last night I took 30 min of jumping to f10 and flying towards a F18 and trying to spot him having him pop precious flares. It was insanely frustrating...

Hello, and thanks for yourr time - Ok before I ran my comp at the recommended resolution. and it being a new comp up high cleaar weather I could spot bogeys Far out, like 20 -30 miles sometimes as dots. I bumped my resolution to 4k, and frankly... I dont know what the ravings about? it added a bunch of pixels... but Im not sure if it helped my spotting abilities. I need to do some more testing, but early anecdotal stuff seems the better resolution made spotting HARDER at distance. flying with my squad last night I was trying to fly with a F18 to lead me to a spot not on my nav, and I couldnt spot him for the life of me - and within 3 miles!

I am too! Money wise, and because I genuinely wanted to like it but i dont. I simply dont. I like all the other helos, but I think Id have preferred the KA52 and regardless Im just not a huge fan. For whatever reason, take your pic - I dont like how it feels, how it feels like Im managing several autopilot modes less than flying the helo, etc Its just my opinion. I could careless about the BS anyways - theres what 8 IRL? LOL they should have made the KA52. 2nd, a Mi28 would have been better IMO, and Mi24 best of all IMO

my squad CO asked why if I fly the Jeff why I wont fly the hornet I said cuz the f14 bitterness. and Idk when it was free that weekend i just didnt like it. the JF was super easy to learn all the systems but plenty depth. and its faster. but its more, i cant put my finger on it, I just... Ive seen both f14s and 18s up close flying around and on the CV65 and... Id take F14s all day. Im a weirdo though, Id bring A6s back lol
